神再次向所罗门显现

¹¹所罗门造成了耶和华殿和王宫；在耶和华殿和王宫凡他心中所要做的，都顺顺利利地做成了。When Solomon had finished the house of the LORD and the royal palace, successfully carrying out all that was in his heart to do for the house of the LORD and for his own palace,

¹²夜间耶和华向所罗门显现，对他说：“我已听了你的祷告，也选择这地方作为祭祀我的殿宇。the LORD appeared to him at night and said to him: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.

¹³我若使天闭塞不下雨，或使蝗虫吃这地的出产，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people,

¹⁴这称为我名下的子民，若是自卑、祷告，寻求我的面，转离他们的恶行，我必从天上垂听，赦免他们的罪，医治他们的地。and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

¹⁵我必睁眼看、侧耳听在此处所献的祷告。Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

¹⁶现在我已选择这殿，分别为圣，使我的名永在其中，我的眼、我的心也必常在那里。For I have now chosen and consecrated this temple so that My Name may be there forever. My eyes and My heart will be there for all time.

遵行就坚立，离弃就拔根

¹⁷你若在我面前效法你父大卫所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例典章，And as for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, doing all I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and ordinances,

¹⁸我就必坚固你的国位，正如我与你父大卫所立的约，说：‘你的子孙必不断人作以色列的王。’then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with your father David when I said, ‘You will never fail to have a man to rule over Israel.’

¹⁹“倘若你们转去丢弃我指示你们的律例诫命，去事奉敬拜别神，But if you turn away and forsake the statutes and commandments I have set before you, and if you go off to serve and worship other gods,

²⁰我就必将以色列人从我赐给他们的地上拔出根来，并且我为己名所分别为圣的殿也必舍弃不顾，使他在万民中作笑谈，被讥诮。then I will uproot Israel from the soil I have given them, and I will banish from My presence this temple I have sanctified for My Name. I will make it an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.

²¹这殿虽然甚高，将来经过的人必惊讶说：‘耶和华为何向这地和这殿如此行呢？’And when this temple has become a heap of rubble, all who pass by it will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’

²²人必回答说：‘是因此地的人离弃耶和华—他们列祖的　神，就是领他们出埃及地的　神，去亲近别神，敬拜事奉他，所以耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。’”And others will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—because of this, He has brought all this disaster upon them.’”

所罗门建造城邑

¹所罗门建造耶和华殿和王宫，二十年才完毕了。Now at the end of the twenty years during which Solomon had built the house of the LORD and his own palace,

²以后所罗门重新修筑希兰送给他的那些城邑，使以色列人住在那里。Solomon rebuilt the cities Hiram had given him and settled Israelites there.

³所罗门往哈马琐巴去，攻取了那地方。Then Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and captured it.

⁴所罗门建造旷野里的达莫，又建造哈马所有的积货城，He built Tadmor in the wilderness, in addition to all the store cities that he had built in Hamath.

⁵又建造上伯·和仑、下伯·和仑作为保障，都有墙，有门，有闩；He rebuilt Upper and Lower Beth-horon as fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars,

⁶又建造巴拉和所有的积货城，并屯车辆马兵的城，与耶路撒冷、黎巴嫩，以及自己治理的全国中所愿意建造的。as well as Baalath, all the store cities that belonged to Solomon, and all the cities for his chariots and horses—whatever he desired to build in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and throughout the land of his dominion.

外族人作服苦的奴仆

⁷至于国中所剩下不属以色列人的赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，As for all the people who remained of the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites (these people were not Israelites)—

⁸就是以色列人未曾灭绝的，所罗门挑取他们的后裔作服苦的奴仆，直到今日。their descendants who remained in the land, those whom the Israelites had not destroyed—Solomon conscripted these people to be forced laborers, as they are to this day.

⁹惟有以色列人，所罗门不使他们当奴仆做工，乃是作他的战士、军长的统领、车兵长、马兵长。But Solomon did not consign any of the Israelites to slave labor, because they were his men of war, the leaders of his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and cavalry.

¹⁰所罗门王有二百五十督工的，监管工人。They were also the chief officers for King Solomon: 250 supervisors.

法老的女儿迁入新宫

¹¹所罗门将法老的女儿带出大卫城，上到为她建造的宫里；因所罗门说：“耶和华约柜所到之处都为圣地，所以我的妻不可住在以色列王大卫的宫里。”Solomon brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her. For he said, “My wife must not live in the house of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the LORD has entered are holy.”

按摩西的吩咐献祭守节

¹²所罗门在耶和华的坛上，就是在廊子前他所筑的坛上，与耶和华献燔祭；At that time Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD he had built in front of the portico.

¹³又遵着摩西的吩咐在安息日、月朔，并一年三节，就是除酵节、七七节、住棚节，献每日所当献的祭。He observed the daily requirement for offerings according to the commandment of Moses for Sabbaths, New Moons, and the three annual appointed feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles.

¹⁴所罗门照着他父大卫所定的例，派定祭司的班次，使他们各供己事，又使利未人各尽其职，赞美耶和华，在祭司面前做每日所当做的；又派守门的按着班次看守各门，因为神人大卫是这样吩咐的。In keeping with the ordinances of his father David, Solomon appointed the divisions of the priests over their service, and the Levites for their duties to offer praise and to minister before the priests according to the daily requirement. He also appointed gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate, for this had been the command of David, the man of God.

¹⁵王所吩咐众祭司和利未人的，无论是管府库或办别的事，他们都不违背。They did not turn aside from the king’s command regarding the priests or the Levites in any matter, including that of the treasuries.

¹⁶所罗门建造耶和华的殿，从立根基直到成功的日子，工料俱备。这样，耶和华的殿全然完毕。Thus all the work of Solomon was carried out, from the day the foundation was laid for the house of the LORD until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was completed.

船队往俄斐

¹⁷那时，所罗门往以东地靠海的以旬·迦别和以禄去。Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth on the coast of Edom.

¹⁸希兰差遣他的臣仆，将船只和熟悉泛海的仆人送到所罗门那里。他们同着所罗门的仆人到了俄斐，得了四百五十他连得金子，运到所罗门王那里。So Hiram sent him ships captained by his servants, along with crews of experienced sailors. They went with Solomon’s servants to Ophir and acquired from there 450 talents of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon.

示巴女王来访

¹示巴女王听见所罗门的名声，就来到耶路撒冷，要用难解的话试问所罗门；跟随她的人甚多，又有骆驼驮着香料、宝石，和许多金子。她来见了所罗门，就把心里所有的对所罗门都说出来。Now when the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon, she came to test him with difficult questions. She arrived in Jerusalem with a very large caravan—with camels bearing spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones. And she came to Solomon and spoke with him about all that was on her mind.

²所罗门将她所问的都答上了，没有一句不明白、不能答的。And Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for him to explain.

³示巴女王见所罗门的智慧和他所建造的宫室、When the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, the palace he had built,

⁴席上的珍馐美味、群臣分列而坐、仆人两旁侍立，以及他们的衣服装饰、酒政，和酒政的衣服装饰，又见他上耶和华殿的台阶，就诧异得神不守舍，the food at his table, the seating of his servants, the service and attire of his attendants, the attire of his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he presented at the house of the LORD, it took her breath away.

⁵对王说：“我在本国里所听见论到你的事和你的智慧实在是真的！She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your words and wisdom is true.

⁶我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了，才知道你的大智慧；人所告诉我的，还不到一半；你的实迹越过我所听见的名声。But I did not believe the reports until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not half of the greatness of your wisdom was told to me. You have far exceeded the report I heard.

⁷你的群臣、你的仆人常侍立在你面前听你智慧的话是有福的。How blessed are your men! How blessed are these servants of yours who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom!

⁸耶和华—你的　神是应当称颂的！他喜悦你，使你坐他的国位，为耶和华—你的　神作王；因为你的　神爱以色列人，要永远坚立他们，所以立你作他们的王，使你秉公行义。”Blessed be the LORD your God, who has delighted in you to set you on His throne to be king for the LORD your God. Because your God loved Israel enough to establish them forever, He has made you king over them to carry out justice and righteousness.”

⁹于是示巴女王将一百二十他连得金子和宝石，与极多的香料送给所罗门王；她送给王的香料，以后再没有这样的。Then she gave the king 120 talents of gold, a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. There had never been such spices as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

¹⁰希兰的仆人和所罗门的仆人从俄斐运了金子来，也运了檀香木（或译：乌木；下同）和宝石来。(The servants of Hiram and of Solomon who brought gold from Ophir also brought algum wood and precious stones.

¹¹王用檀香木为耶和华殿和王宫做台，又为歌唱的人做琴瑟；犹大地从来没有见过这样的。The king made the algum wood into steps for the house of the LORD and for the king’s palace, and into lyres and harps for the singers. Never before had anything like them been seen in the land of Judah.)

¹²所罗门王按示巴女王所带来的，还她礼物，另外照她一切所要所求的，都送给她。于是女王和她臣仆转回本国去了。King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired—whatever she asked—far more than she had brought the king. Then she left and returned to her own country, along with her servants.

所罗门的财富

¹³所罗门每年所得的金子共有六百六十六他连得，The weight of gold that came to Solomon each year was 666 talents,

¹⁴另外还有商人所进的金子，并且阿拉伯诸王与属国的省长都带金银给所罗门。not including the revenue from the merchants and traders. And all the Arabian kings and governors of the land also brought gold and silver to Solomon.

¹⁵所罗门王用锤出来的金子打成挡牌二百面，每面用金子六百舍客勒；King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of hammered gold went into each shield.

¹⁶又用锤出来的金子打成盾牌三百面，每面用金子三百舍客勒，都放在黎巴嫩林宫里。He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold; three hundred shekels of gold went into each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

象牙宝座

¹⁷王用象牙制造一个大宝座，用精金包裹。Additionally, the king made a great throne of ivory and overlaid it with pure gold.

¹⁸宝座有六层台阶，又有金脚凳，与宝座相连。宝座两旁有扶手，靠近扶手有两个狮子站立。The throne had six steps, and a footstool of gold was attached to it. There were armrests on both sides of the seat, with a lion standing beside each armrest.

¹⁹六层台阶上有十二个狮子站立，每层有两个：左边一个，右边一个；在列国中没有这样做的。Twelve lions stood on the six steps, one at either end of each step. Nothing like this had ever been made for any kingdom.

²⁰所罗门王一切的饮器都是金的，黎巴嫩林宫里的一切器皿都是精金的。所罗门年间，银子算不了什么。All King Solomon’s drinking cups were gold, and all the utensils of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. There was no silver, because it was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.

²¹因为王的船只与希兰的仆人一同往他施去；他施船只三年一次装载金、银、象牙、猿猴、孔雀回来。For the king had the ships of Tarshish that went with Hiram’s servants, and once every three years the ships of Tarshish would arrive bearing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.

胜过天下的列王

²²所罗门王的财宝与智慧胜过天下的列王。So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

²³普天下的王都求见所罗门，要听　神赐给他智慧的话。All the kings of the earth sought an audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom that God had put in his heart.

²⁴他们各带贡物，就是金器、银器、衣服、军械、香料、骡马，每年有一定之例。Year after year, each visitor would bring his tribute: articles of silver and gold, clothing, weapons, spices, horses, and mules.

²⁵所罗门有套车的马四千棚，有马兵一万二千，安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots, and 12,000 horses, which he stationed in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem.

²⁶所罗门统管诸王，从大河到非利士地，直到埃及的边界。He reigned over all the kings from the Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.

所罗门去世

²⁹所罗门其余的事，自始至终，不都写在先知拿单的书上和示罗人亚希雅的预言书上，并先见易多论尼八儿子耶罗波安的默示书上吗？As for the rest of the acts of Solomon, from beginning to end, are they not written in the Records of Nathan the Prophet, in the Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the Visions of Iddo the Seer concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat?

³⁰所罗门在耶路撒冷作以色列众人的王共四十年。Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

³¹所罗门与他列祖同睡，葬在他父大卫城里。他儿子罗波安接续他作王。And Solomon rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of his father David. And his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.

⁴他就离开迦勒底人之地，住在哈兰。他父亲死了以后，　神使他从那里搬到你们现在所住之地。So Abraham left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After his father died, God brought him out of that place and into this land where you are now living.

⁵在这地方，　神并没有给他产业，连立足之地也没有给他；但应许要将这地赐给他和他的后裔为业；那时他还没有儿子。He gave him no inheritance here, not even a foot of ground. But God promised to give possession of the land to Abraham and his descendants, even though he did not yet have a child.

⁶神说：‘他的后裔必寄居外邦，那里的人要叫他们作奴仆，苦待他们四百年。’God told him that his descendants would be foreigners in a strange land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.

⁷神又说：‘使他们作奴仆的那国，我要惩罚。以后他们要出来，在这地方事奉我。’‘But I will punish the nation that enslaves them,’ God said, ‘and afterward they will come forth and worship Me in this place.’

¹⁰救他脱离一切苦难，又使他在埃及王法老面前得恩典，有智慧。法老就派他作埃及国的宰相兼管全家。and rescued him from all his troubles. He granted Joseph favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and all his household.

¹¹后来埃及和迦南全地遭遇饥荒，大受艰难，我们的祖宗就绝了粮。Then famine and great suffering swept across Egypt and Canaan, and our fathers could not find food.

¹²雅各听见在埃及有粮，就打发我们的祖宗初次往那里去。When Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent our fathers on their first visit.

¹³第二次约瑟与弟兄们相认，他的亲族也被法老知道了。On their second visit, Joseph revealed his identity to his brothers, and his family became known to Pharaoh.

¹⁴约瑟就打发弟兄请父亲雅各和全家七十五个人都来。Then Joseph sent for his father Jacob and all his relatives, seventy-five in all.

¹⁵于是雅各下了埃及，后来他和我们的祖宗都死在那里；So Jacob went down to Egypt, where he and our fathers died.

¹⁶又被带到示剑，葬于亚伯拉罕在示剑用银子从哈抹子孙买来的坟墓里。Their bones were carried back to Shechem and placed in the tomb that Abraham had bought from the sons of Hamor at Shechem for a price he paid in silver.

新王苦害以色列人

¹⁷“及至　神应许亚伯拉罕的日期将到，以色列民在埃及兴盛众多，As the time drew near for God to fulfill His promise to Abraham, our people in Egypt increased greatly in number.

¹⁸直到有不晓得约瑟的新王兴起。Then another king, who knew nothing of Joseph, arose over Egypt.

¹⁹他用诡计待我们的宗族，苦害我们的祖宗，叫他们丢弃婴孩，使婴孩不能存活。He exploited our people and oppressed our fathers, forcing them to abandon their infants so they would die.

摩西出生

²⁰那时，摩西生下来，俊美非凡，在他父亲家里抚养了三个月。At that time Moses was born, and he was beautiful in the sight of God. For three months he was nurtured in his father’s house.

²¹他被丢弃的时候，法老的女儿拾了去，养为自己的儿子。When he was set outside, Pharaoh’s daughter took him and brought him up as her own son.

²²摩西学了埃及人一切的学问，说话行事都有才能。So Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action.

摩西被弟兄拒绝

²³“他将到四十岁，心中起意去看望他的弟兄以色列人；When Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his brothers, the children of Israel.

²⁴到了那里，见他们一个人受冤屈，就护庇他，为那受欺压的人报仇，打死了那埃及人。And when he saw one of them being mistreated, Moses went to his defense and avenged him by striking down the Egyptian who was oppressing him.

²⁵他以为弟兄必明白　神是借他的手搭救他们；他们却不明白。He assumed his brothers would understand that God was using him to deliver them, but they did not.

²⁶第二天，遇见两个以色列人争斗，就劝他们和睦，说：‘你们二位是弟兄，为什么彼此欺负呢？’The next day he came upon two Israelites who were fighting, and he tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers. Why are you mistreating each other?’

²⁷那欺负邻舍的把他推开，说：‘谁立你作我们的首领和审判官呢？But the man who was abusing his neighbor pushed Moses aside and said, ‘Who made you ruler and judge over us?

²⁸难道你要杀我，像昨天杀那埃及人吗？’Do you want to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’

²⁹摩西听见这话就逃走了，寄居于米甸；在那里生了两个儿子。At this remark, Moses fled to the land of Midian, where he lived as a foreigner and had two sons.

荆棘中的呼召

³⁰“过了四十年，在西奈山的旷野，有一位天使从荆棘火焰中向摩西显现。After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to Moses in the flames of a burning bush in the desert near Mount Sinai.

³¹摩西见了那异象，便觉希奇，正进前观看的时候，有主的声音说：When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight. As he approached to look more closely, the voice of the Lord came to him:

³²‘我是你列祖的　神，就是亚伯拉罕的　神，以撒的　神，雅各的　神。’摩西战战兢兢，不敢观看。‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.

³³主对他说：‘把你脚上的鞋脱下来，因为你所站之地是圣地。Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.

³⁴我的百姓在埃及所受的困苦，我实在看见了，他们悲叹的声音，我也听见了。我下来要救他们。你来！我要差你往埃及去。’I have indeed seen the oppression of My people in Egypt. I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.’

被弃绝的摩西成了救赎者

³⁵这摩西就是百姓弃绝说‘谁立你作我们的首领和审判官’的；　神却借那在荆棘中显现之使者的手差派他作首领、作救赎的。This Moses, whom they had rejected with the words, ‘Who made you ruler and judge?’ is the one whom God sent to be their ruler and redeemer through the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

³⁶这人领百姓出来，在埃及，在红海，在旷野，四十年间行了奇事神迹。He led them out and performed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, at the Red Sea, and for forty years in the wilderness.

³⁷那曾对以色列人说‘　神要从你们弟兄中间给你们兴起一位先知像我’的，就是这位摩西。This is the same Moses who told the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’

祖宗造牛犊

³⁹我们的祖宗不肯听从，反弃绝他，心里归向埃及，But our fathers refused to obey him. Instead, they rejected him and in their hearts turned back to Egypt.

⁴⁰对亚伦说：‘你且为我们造些神像，在我们前面引路；因为领我们出埃及地的那个摩西，我们不知道他遭了什么事。’They said to Aaron, ‘Make us gods who will go before us! As for this Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him.’

⁴¹那时，他们造了一个牛犊，又拿祭物献给那像，欢喜自己手中的工作。At that time they made a calf and offered a sacrifice to the idol, rejoicing in the works of their hands.

⁴²神就转脸不顾，任凭他们事奉天上的日月星辰，正如先知书上所写的说：以色列家啊，你们四十年间在旷野，岂是将牺牲和祭物献给我吗？But God turned away from them and gave them over to the worship of the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: ‘Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

⁴³你们抬着摩洛的帐幕和理番神的星，就是你们所造为要敬拜的像。因此，我要把你们迁到巴比伦外去。You have taken along the tabernacle of Molech and the star of your god Rephan, the idols you made to worship. Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Babylon.’

⁴⁴“我们的祖宗在旷野，有法柜的帐幕，是　神吩咐摩西叫他照所看见的样式做的。Our fathers had the tabernacle of the Testimony with them in the wilderness. It was constructed exactly as God had directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.

⁴⁶大卫在　神面前蒙恩，祈求为雅各的　神预备居所；who found favor in the sight of God and asked to provide a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.

⁴⁷却是所罗门为　神造成殿宇。But it was Solomon who built the house for Him.

至高者不住人手所造的

⁴⁸其实，至高者并不住人手所造的，就如先知所言：However, the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says:

⁴⁹主说：天是我的座位，地是我的脚凳；你们要为我造何等的殿宇？哪里是我安息的地方呢？‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me, says the Lord, or where will My place of repose be?

⁵⁰这一切不都是我手所造的吗？Has not My hand made all these things?’

你们常时抗拒圣灵

⁵¹“你们这硬着颈项、心与耳未受割礼的人，常时抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit, just as your fathers did.

⁵²哪一个先知不是你们祖宗逼迫呢？他们也把预先传说那义者要来的人杀了；如今你们又把那义者卖了，杀了。Which of the prophets did your fathers fail to persecute? They even killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One. And now you are His betrayers and murderers—

⁵³你们受了天使所传的律法，竟不遵守。”you who received the law ordained by angels, yet have not kept it.”
