大卫想为约柜建殿

¹大卫住在自己宫中，对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，耶和华的约柜反在幔子里。”After David had settled into his palace, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”

²拿单对大卫说：“你可以照你的心意而行，因为　神与你同在。”And Nathan replied to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

神藉拿单回复

³当夜，　神的话临到拿单，说：But that night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,

⁴“你去告诉我仆人大卫，说耶和华如此说：‘你不可建造殿宇给我居住。“Go and tell My servant David that this is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build Me a house in which to dwell.

⁵自从我领以色列人出埃及，直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇，乃从这会幕到那会幕，从这帐幕到那帐幕。For I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought Israel up out of Egypt until this day, but I have moved from tent to tent and dwelling to dwelling.

⁶凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一个士师，就是我吩咐牧养我民的说：你为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？’In all My journeys with all the Israelites, have I ever asked any of the leaders I appointed to shepherd My people, ‘Why haven’t you built Me a house of cedar?’

神要为大卫建立家室

⁷现在你要告诉我仆人大卫，说万军之耶和华如此说：‘我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再跟从羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。Now then, you are to tell My servant David that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be the ruler over My people Israel.

⁸你无论往哪里去，我常与你同在，剪除你的一切仇敌；我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一样。I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like that of the greatest in the land.

⁹我必为我民以色列选定一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住自己的地方，不再迁移；凶恶之子也不像从前扰害他们，And I will provide a place for My people Israel and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own and be disturbed no more. No longer will the sons of wickedness oppress them as they did at the beginning

¹⁰并不像我命士师治理我民以色列的时候一样。我必治服你的一切仇敌，并且我—耶和华应许你，必为你建立家室。and have done since the day I appointed judges over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover, I declare to you that the LORD will build a house for you.

后裔建殿，国位永远坚定

¹¹你寿数满足归你列祖的时候，我必使你的后裔接续你的位，我也必坚定他的国。And when your days are fulfilled and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

¹²他必为我建造殿宇；我必坚定他的国位直到永远。He will build a house for Me, and I will establish his throne forever.

¹³我要作他的父，他要作我的子；并不使我的慈爱离开他，像离开在你以前的扫罗一样。I will be his Father, and he will be My son. And I will never remove My loving devotion from him as I removed it from your predecessor.

¹⁴我却要将他永远坚立在我家里和我国里；他的国位也必坚定，直到永远。’”But I will set him over My house and My kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.”

¹⁵拿单就按这一切话，照这默示告诉大卫。So Nathan relayed to David all the words of this entire revelation.

大卫感恩祷告

¹⁶于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说：“耶和华　神啊，我是谁，我的家算什么，你竟使我到这地步呢？Then King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said, “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?

¹⁷神啊，这在你眼中还看为小，又应许你仆人的家至于久远。耶和华　神啊，你看顾我好像看顾高贵的人。And as if this was a small thing in Your eyes, O God, You have spoken about the future of the house of Your servant and have regarded me as a man of great distinction, O LORD God.

¹⁸你加于仆人的尊荣，我还有何言可说呢？因为你知道你的仆人。What more can David say to You for honoring Your servant? For You know Your servant,

¹⁹耶和华啊，你行了这大事，并且显明出来，是因你仆人的缘故，也是照你的心意。O LORD. For the sake of Your servant and according to Your own heart, You have accomplished this great thing and made known all these great promises.

²⁰耶和华啊，照我们耳中听见，没有可比你的，除你以外再无　神。O LORD, there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.

²¹世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你　神从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人，显出你的大名。And who is like Your people Israel—the one nation on earth whom God went out to redeem as a people for Himself? You made a name for Yourself through great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before Your people, whom You redeemed from Egypt.

²²你使以色列人作你的子民，直到永远；你—耶和华也作他们的　神。For You have made Your people Israel Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.

²³耶和华啊，你所应许仆人和仆人家的话，求你坚定，直到永远，照你所说的而行。And now, O LORD, let the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house be established forever. Do as You have promised,

²⁴愿你的名永远坚立，被尊为大，说：‘万军之耶和华是以色列的　神，是治理以色列的　神。’这样，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。so that Your name will be established and magnified forever when it is said, ‘The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, is God over Israel.’ And may the house of Your servant David be established before You.

²⁵我的　神啊，因你启示仆人说，我必为你建立家室，所以仆人大胆在你面前祈祷。For You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him. Therefore Your servant has found the courage to pray before You.

²⁶耶和华啊，惟有你是　神，你也应许将这福气赐给仆人。And now, O LORD, You are God! And You have promised this goodness to Your servant.

²⁷现在你喜悦赐福与仆人的家，可以永存在你面前。耶和华啊，你已经赐福，还要赐福到永远。”So now You have been pleased to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”

大卫四面得胜

¹此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们治服，从他们手下夺取了迦特和属迦特的村庄；Some time later, David defeated the Philistines, subdued them, and took Gath and its villages from the hand of the Philistines.

²又攻打摩押，摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。David also defeated the Moabites, and they became subject to David and brought him tribute.

³琐巴王哈大利谢（在撒母耳下八章三节是哈大底谢）往幼发拉底河去，要坚定自己的国权，大卫就攻打他，直到哈马，As far as Hamath, David also defeated King Hadadezer of Zobah, who had marched out to establish his dominion along the Euphrates River.

⁴夺了他的战车一千，马兵七千，步兵二万，将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。David captured from him a thousand chariots, seven thousand charioteers, and twenty thousand foot soldiers, and he hamstrung all the horses except a hundred he kept for the chariots.

⁵大马士革的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大利谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。When the Arameans of Damascus came to help King Hadadezer of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of their men.

⁶于是大卫在大马士革的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。Then he placed garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to David and brought him tribute. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.

⁷他夺了哈大利谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌带到耶路撒冷。And David took the gold shields that belonged to the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.

⁸大卫又从属哈大利谢的提巴（或译：比他）和均二城中夺取了许多的铜。后来所罗门用此制造铜海、铜柱，和一切的铜器。And from Tibhath and Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a large amount of bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze Sea, the pillars, and various bronze articles.

哈马王送礼

⁹哈马王陀乌听见大卫杀败琐巴王哈大利谢的全军，When King Tou of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,

¹⁰就打发他儿子哈多兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大利谢〈原来陀乌与哈大利谢常常争战〉。哈多兰带了金银铜的各样器皿来。he sent his son Hadoram to greet King David and bless him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold and silver and bronze,

把掳物分别为圣献给耶和华

¹¹大卫王将这些器皿，并从各国夺来的金银，就是从以东、摩押、亚扪、非利士、亚玛力人所夺来的，都分别为圣献给耶和华。and King David dedicated these to the LORD, along with the silver and gold he had carried off from all these nations—from Edom and Moab, and from the Ammonites, Philistines, and Amalekites.

¹²洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛在盐谷击杀了以东一万八千人。Moreover, Abishai son of Zeruiah struck down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

¹³大卫在以东地设立防营，以东人就都归服他。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。He placed garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites were subject to David. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.

大卫的臣仆

¹⁴大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。Thus David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people:

¹⁵洗鲁雅的儿子约押作元帅；亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官；Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;

¹⁶亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒作祭司长；沙威沙作书记；Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was the scribe;

¹⁷耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人。大卫的众子都在王的左右作领袖。Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief officials at the king’s side.

彼得起来讲道

¹⁴彼得和十一个使徒站起，高声说：“犹太人和一切住在耶路撒冷的人哪，这件事你们当知道，也当侧耳听我的话。Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.

¹⁵你们想这些人是醉了；其实不是醉了，因为时候刚到巳初。These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!

应验约珥的预言

¹⁶这正是先知约珥所说的：No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

¹⁷神说：在末后的日子，我要将我的灵浇灌凡有血气的。你们的儿女要说预言；你们的少年人要见异象；老年人要做异梦。‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

¹⁸在那些日子，我要将我的灵浇灌我的仆人和使女，他们就要说预言。Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

¹⁹在天上，我要显出奇事；在地下，我要显出神迹；有血，有火，有烟雾。I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

²⁰日头要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血；这都在主大而明显的日子未到以前。The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

²¹到那时候，凡求告主名的，就必得救。And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

神叫耶稣复活

²²“以色列人哪，请听我的话：　神借着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间施行异能、奇事、神迹，将他证明出来，这是你们自己知道的。Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.

²³他既按着　神的定旨先见被交与人，你们就借着无法之人的手，把他钉在十字架上，杀了。He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.

²⁴神却将死的痛苦解释了，叫他复活，因为他原不能被死拘禁。But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.

大卫预言基督复活

²⁵大卫指着他说：“我看见主常在我眼前；他在我右边，叫我不至于摇动。David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

²⁶所以，我心里欢喜，我的灵（原文是舌）快乐；并且我的肉身要安居在指望中。Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,

²⁷因你必不将我的灵魂撇在阴间，也不叫你的圣者见朽坏。because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.

²⁸你已将生命的道路指示我，必叫我因见你的面（或译：叫我在你面前）得着满足的快乐。You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’

²⁹“弟兄们！先祖大卫的事，我可以明明地对你们说：他死了，也葬埋了，并且他的坟墓直到今日还在我们这里。Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

³⁰大卫既是先知，又晓得　神曾向他起誓，要从他的后裔中立一位坐在他的宝座上，But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.

³¹就预先看明这事，讲论基督复活说：他的灵魂不撇在阴间；他的肉身也不见朽坏。Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.

耶稣被高举为主为基督

³²这耶稣，　神已经叫他复活了，我们都为这事作见证。God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.

³³他既被　神的右手高举（或译：他既高举在　神的右边），又从父受了所应许的圣灵，就把你们所看见所听见的，浇灌下来。Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

³⁴大卫并没有升到天上，但自己说：主对我主说：你坐在我的右边，For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand

³⁵等我使你仇敌作你的脚凳。until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

悔改受洗，三千人信主

³⁷众人听见这话，觉得扎心，就对彼得和其余的使徒说：“弟兄们，我们当怎样行？”When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

³⁸彼得说：“你们各人要悔改，奉耶稣基督的名受洗，叫你们的罪得赦，就必领受所赐的圣灵；Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

³⁹因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是主—我们　神所召来的。”This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

⁴⁰彼得还用许多话作见证，劝勉他们说：“你们当救自己脱离这弯曲的世代。”With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”

⁴¹于是领受他话的人就受了洗。那一天，门徒约添了三千人，Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.

初代教会的生活

⁴²都恒心遵守使徒的教训，彼此交接，擘饼，祈祷。They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

⁴³众人都惧怕；使徒又行了许多奇事神迹。A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.

⁴⁴信的人都在一处，凡物公用，All the believers were together and had everything in common.

⁴⁵并且卖了田产、家业，照各人所需用的分给各人。Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.

⁴⁶他们天天同心合意恒切地在殿里，且在家中擘饼，存着欢喜、诚实的心用饭，With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,

⁴⁷赞美　神，得众民的喜爱。主将得救的人天天加给他们。praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
