在希伯仑膏大卫作王

¹以色列众人聚集到希伯仑见大卫，说：“我们原是你的骨肉。Then all Israel came together to David at Hebron and said, “Here we are, your own flesh and blood.

²从前扫罗作王的时候，率领以色列人出入的是你；耶和华—你的　神也曾应许你说：‘你必牧养我的民以色列，作以色列的君。’”Even in times past, while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them back. And the LORD your God said, ‘You will shepherd My people Israel, and you will be ruler over them.’”

³于是以色列的长老都来到希伯仑见大卫王。大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约，他们就膏大卫作以色列的王，是照耶和华借撒母耳所说的话。So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, where David made a covenant with them before the LORD. And they anointed him king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD through Samuel.

攻取锡安的保障

⁴大卫和以色列众人到了耶路撒冷，就是耶布斯；那时耶布斯人住在那里。Then David and all the Israelites marched to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus), where the Jebusites inhabited the land.

⁵耶布斯人对大卫说：“你决不能进这地方。”然而大卫攻取锡安的保障，就是大卫的城。The people of Jebus said to David, “You will never get in here.” Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion (that is, the City of David).

⁶大卫说：“谁先攻打耶布斯人，必作首领元帅。”洗鲁雅的儿子约押先上去，就作了元帅。Now David had said, “Whoever is the first to strike down a Jebusite will become chief commander.” And Joab son of Zeruiah went up first, and he became the chief.

⁷大卫住在保障里，所以那保障叫作大卫城。So David took up residence in the fortress; that is why it was called the City of David.

⁸大卫又从米罗起，四围建筑城墙，其余的是约押修理。He built up the city around it, from the supporting terraces to the surrounding wall, while Joab restored the rest of the city.

⁹大卫日见强盛，因为万军之耶和华与他同在。And David became greater and greater, for the LORD of Hosts was with him.

大卫的勇士

¹⁰以下记录跟随大卫勇士的首领，就是奋勇帮助他得国、照着耶和华吩咐以色列人的话、与以色列人一同立他作王的。Now these were the chiefs of David’s mighty men, who, together with all Israel, bolstered and strengthened his kingdom, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.

¹¹大卫勇士的数目记在下面：哈革摩尼的儿子雅朔班，他是军长的统领，一时举枪杀了三百人。This is the list of David’s mighty men: Jashobeam son of Hachmoni was chief of the officers; he wielded his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed at one time.

¹²其次是亚合人朵多的儿子以利亚撒，他是三个勇士里的一个。Next in command was Eleazar son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men.

¹³他从前与大卫在巴斯·达闵，非利士人聚集要打仗。那里有一块长满大麦的田，众民就在非利士人面前逃跑；He was with David at Pas-dammim when the Philistines gathered there for battle. At a place with a field full of barley, the troops fled from the Philistines.

¹⁴这勇士便站在那田间击杀非利士人，救护了那田。耶和华使以色列人大获全胜。But Eleazar and David stationed themselves in the middle of the field and defended it. They struck down the Philistines, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

冒死去打伯利恒井里的水

¹⁵三十个勇士中的三个人下到磐石那里，进了亚杜兰洞见大卫；非利士的军队在利乏音谷安营。Three of the thirty chief men went down to David, to the rock at the cave of Adullam, while a company of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim.

¹⁶那时大卫在山寨，非利士人的防营在伯利恒。At that time David was in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was at Bethlehem.

¹⁷大卫渴想，说：“甚愿有人将伯利恒城门旁井里的水打来给我喝！”David longed for water and said, “Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!”

¹⁸这三个勇士就闯过非利士人的营盘，从伯利恒城门旁的井里打水，拿来奉给大卫。他却不肯喝，将水奠在耶和华面前，So the Three broke through the Philistine camp, drew water from the well at the gate of Bethlehem, and brought it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out to the LORD,

¹⁹说：“我的　神啊，这三个人冒死去打水，这水好像他们的血一般，我断不敢喝！”如此，大卫不肯喝。这是三个勇士所做的事。saying, “Far be it from me, my God, to do this! How can I drink the blood of these men who risked their lives?” Because they had brought it at the risk of their lives, David refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty men.

亚比筛和比拿雅的事迹

²⁰约押的兄弟亚比筛是这三个勇士的首领；他举枪杀了三百人，就在三个勇士里得了名。Now Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the Three, and he wielded his spear against three hundred men, killed them, and won a name along with the Three.

²¹他在这三个勇士里是最尊贵的，所以作他们的首领；只是不及前三个勇士。He was doubly honored above the Three, and he became their commander, even though he was not included among the Three.

²²有甲薛勇士耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅行过大能的事：他杀了摩押人亚利伊勒的两个儿子，又在下雪的时候下坑里去杀了一个狮子，And Benaiah son of Jehoiada was a man of valor from Kabzeel, a man of many exploits. He struck down two champions of Moab, and on a snowy day he went down into a pit and killed a lion.

²³又杀了一个埃及人。埃及人身高五肘，手里拿着枪，枪杆粗如织布的机轴；比拿雅只拿着棍子下去，从埃及人手里夺过枪来，用那枪将他刺死。He also struck down an Egyptian, a huge man five cubits tall. Although the Egyptian had a spear like a weaver’s beam in his hand, Benaiah went against him with a club, snatched the spear from his hand, and killed the Egyptian with his own spear.

²⁴这是耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅所行的事，就在三个勇士里得了名。These were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada, who won a name along with the three mighty men.

²⁵他比那三十个勇士都尊贵，只是不及前三个勇士。大卫立他作护卫长。He was most honored among the Thirty, but he did not become one of the Three. And David appointed him over his guard.

军中的勇士名单

²⁶军中的勇士有约押的兄弟亚撒黑，伯利恒人朵多的儿子伊勒哈难，Now these were the mighty men: Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan son of Dodo of Bethlehem,

²⁷哈律人沙玛，比伦人希利斯，Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,

²⁸提哥亚人益吉的儿子以拉，亚拿突人亚比以谢，Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,

²⁹户沙人西比该，亚合人以来，Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,

³⁰尼陀法人玛哈莱，尼陀法人巴拿的儿子希立，Maharai the Netophathite, Heled son of Baanah the Netophathite,

在洗革拉投奔大卫的勇士

¹大卫因怕基士的儿子扫罗，躲在洗革拉的时候，有勇士到他那里帮助他打仗。Now these were the men who came to David at Ziklag, while he was still banished from the presence of Saul son of Kish (they were among the mighty men who helped him in battle;

²他们善于拉弓，能用左右两手甩石射箭，都是便雅悯人扫罗的族弟兄。they were archers using both the right and left hands to sling stones and shoot arrows; and they were Saul’s kinsmen from Benjamin):

³为首的是亚希以谢，其次是约阿施，都是基比亚人示玛的儿子。还有亚斯玛威的儿子耶薛和毗力，又有比拉迦，并亚拿突人耶户，Ahiezer their chief and Joash, who were the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; Beracah; Jehu the Anathothite;

⁴基遍人以实买雅〈他在三十人中是勇士，管理他们〉，且有耶利米、雅哈悉、约哈难，和基得拉人约撒拔、Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the Thirty and a leader over the Thirty; Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite;

⁵伊利乌赛、耶利摩、比亚利雅、示玛利雅，哈律弗人示法提雅，Eluzai, Jerimoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;

⁶可拉人以利加拿、耶西亚、亚萨列、约以谢、雅朔班，Elkanah, Isshiah, Azarel, Joezer, and Jashobeam, who were Korahites;

⁷基多人耶罗罕的儿子犹拉和西巴第雅。and Joelah and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham from Gedor.

迦得人投奔大卫

⁸迦得支派中有人到旷野的山寨投奔大卫，都是大能的勇士，能拿盾牌和枪的战士。他们的面貌好像狮子，快跑如同山上的鹿。Some Gadites defected to David at his stronghold in the wilderness. They were mighty men of valor, trained for battle, experts with the shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions and who were as swift as gazelles on the mountains:

⁹第一以薛，第二俄巴底雅，第三以利押，Ezer the chief, Obadiah the second in command, Eliab the third,

¹⁰第四弥施玛拿，第五耶利米，Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

¹¹第六亚太，第七以利业，Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

¹²第八约哈难，第九以利萨巴，Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

¹³第十耶利米，第十一末巴奈。Jeremiah the tenth, and Machbanai the eleventh.

¹⁴这都是迦得人中的军长，至小的能抵一百人，至大的能抵一千人。These Gadites were army commanders, the least of whom was a match for a hundred, and the greatest for a thousand.

¹⁵正月，约旦河水涨过两岸的时候，他们过河，使一切住平原的人东奔西逃。These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month when it was overflowing all its banks, and they put to flight all those in the valleys, both to the east and to the west.

便雅悯和犹大人来投奔

¹⁶又有便雅悯和犹大人到山寨大卫那里。Other Benjamites and some men from Judah also came to David in his stronghold.

¹⁷大卫出去迎接他们，对他们说：“你们若是和和平平地来帮助我，我心就与你们相契；你们若是将我这无罪的人卖在敌人手里，愿我们列祖的　神察看责罚。”And David went out to meet them, saying, “If you have come to me in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free of violence, may the God of our fathers see it and judge you.”

¹⁸那时　神的灵感动那三十个勇士的首领亚玛撒，他就说：大卫啊，我们是归于你的！耶西的儿子啊，我们是帮助你的！愿你平平安安，愿帮助你的也都平安！因为你的　神帮助你。大卫就收留他们，立他们作军长。Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, the chief of the Thirty, and he said: “We are yours, O David! We are with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers, for your God helps you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

玛拿西人来投奔

¹⁹大卫从前与非利士人同去，要与扫罗争战，有些玛拿西人来投奔大卫，他们却没有帮助非利士人；因为非利士人的首领商议，打发他们回去，说：“恐怕大卫拿我们的首级，归降他的主人扫罗。”Some from Manasseh defected to David when he went with the Philistines to fight against Saul. (They did not help the Philistines because the Philistine rulers consulted and sent David away, saying, “It will cost us our heads if he defects to his master Saul.”)

²⁰大卫往洗革拉去的时候，有玛拿西人的千夫长押拿、约撒拔、耶叠、米迦勒、约撒拔、以利户、洗勒太都来投奔他。When David went to Ziklag, these men of Manasseh defected to him: Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu, and Zillethai, chiefs of thousands in Manasseh.

²¹这些人帮助大卫攻击群贼；他们都是大能的勇士，且作军长。They helped David against the raiders, for they were all mighty men of valor and commanders in the army.

²²那时天天有人来帮助大卫，以致成了大军，如　神的军一样。For at that time men came to David day after day to help him, until he had a great army, like the army of God.

到希伯仑立大卫作王的军队

²³预备打仗的兵来到希伯仑见大卫，要照着耶和华的话将扫罗的国位归与大卫。他们的数目如下：Now these are the numbers of men armed for battle who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, in accordance with the word of the LORD:

²⁴犹大支派，拿盾牌和枪预备打仗的有六千八百人。From Judah: 6,800 armed troops bearing shields and spears.

²⁵西缅支派，能上阵大能的勇士有七千一百人。From Simeon: 7,100 mighty men of valor, ready for battle.

²⁶利未支派有四千六百人。From Levi: 4,600,

²⁷耶何耶大是亚伦家的首领，跟从他的有三千七百人。including Jehoiada, leader of the house of Aaron, with 3,700 men,

²⁸还有少年大能的勇士撒督，同着他的有族长二十二人。and Zadok, a mighty young man of valor, with 22 commanders from his own family.

²⁹便雅悯支派，扫罗的族弟兄也有三千人，他们向来大半归顺扫罗家。From Benjamin, the kinsmen of Saul: 3,000, most of whom had remained loyal to the house of Saul up to that time.

³⁰以法莲支派大能的勇士，在本族著名的有二万零八百人。From Ephraim: 20,800 mighty men of valor, famous among their own clans.

³¹玛拿西半支派，册上有名的共一万八千人，都来立大卫作王。From the half-tribe of Manasseh: 18,000 designated by name to come and make David king.

³²以萨迦支派，有二百族长都通达时务，知道以色列人所当行的；他们族弟兄都听从他们的命令。From Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do: 200 chiefs with all their kinsmen at their command.

³³西布伦支派，能上阵用各样兵器打仗、行伍整齐、不生二心的有五万人。From Zebulun: 50,000 fit for service, trained for battle with all kinds of weapons of war, who with one purpose were devoted to David.

³⁴拿弗他利支派，有一千军长；跟从他们、拿盾牌和枪的有三万七千人。From Naphtali: 1,000 commanders, accompanied by 37,000 men with shield and spear.

³⁵但支派，能摆阵的有二万八千六百人。From Dan: 28,600 prepared for battle.

³⁶亚设支派，能上阵打仗的有四万人。From Asher: 40,000 fit for service, prepared for battle.

³⁷约旦河东的流便支派、迦得支派、玛拿西半支派，拿着各样兵器打仗的有十二万人。And from east of the Jordan, from Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh there: 120,000 armed with every kind of weapon of war.

一心拥立大卫，同吃同喝

³⁸以上都是能守行伍的战士，他们都诚心来到希伯仑，要立大卫作以色列的王。以色列其余的人也都一心要立大卫作王。All these men of war, arrayed for battle, came to Hebron fully determined to make David king over all Israel. And all the rest of the Israelites were of one mind to make David king.

³⁹他们在那里三日，与大卫一同吃喝，因为他们的族弟兄给他们预备了。They spent three days there eating and drinking with David, for their relatives had provided for them.

⁴⁰靠近他们的人以及以萨迦、西布伦、拿弗他利人将许多面饼、无花果饼、干葡萄、酒、油，用驴、骆驼、骡子、牛驮来，又带了许多的牛和羊来，因为以色列人甚是欢乐。And their neighbors from as far away as Issachar, Zebulun, and Naphtali came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules, and oxen—abundant supplies of flour, fig cakes and raisin cakes, wine and oil, oxen and sheep. Indeed, there was joy in Israel.

彼得在一百二十人中站起来

¹⁵那时，有许多人聚会，约有一百二十名，彼得就在弟兄中间站起来，说：In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (a gathering of about a hundred and twenty) and said,

犹大的结局

¹⁶“弟兄们！圣灵借大卫的口，在圣经上预言领人捉拿耶稣的犹大，这话是必须应验的。“Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit foretold through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide for those who arrested Jesus.

¹⁷他本来列在我们数中，并且在使徒的职任上得了一分。He was one of our number and shared in this ministry.”

¹⁸这人用他作恶的工价买了一块田，以后身子仆倒，肚腹崩裂，肠子都流出来。(Now with the reward for his wickedness Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong and burst open in the middle, and all his intestines spilled out.

¹⁹住在耶路撒冷的众人都知道这事，所以按着他们那里的话给那块田起名叫亚革大马，就是“血田”的意思。This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so they called that field in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

诗篇的预言

²⁰因为诗篇上写着，说：愿他的住处变为荒场，无人在内居住；又说：愿别人得他的职分。“For it is written in the book of Psalms: ‘May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it,’ and, ‘May another take his position.’

补选见证复活的使徒

²¹所以，主耶稣在我们中间始终出入的时候，Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have accompanied us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

²²就是从约翰施洗起，直到主离开我们被接上升的日子为止，必须从那常与我们作伴的人中立一位与我们同作耶稣复活的见证。”beginning from John’s baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.”

摇签选出马提亚

²³于是选举两个人，就是那叫做巴撒巴，又称呼犹士都的约瑟，和马提亚。So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias.

^24–25众人就祷告说：“主啊，你知道万人的心，求你从这两个人中，指明你所拣选的是谁，叫他得这使徒的位分。这位分犹大已经丢弃，往自己的地方去了。”And they prayed, “Lord, You know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two You have chosen to take up this ministry and apostleship, which Judas abandoned to go to his rightful place.”

²⁶于是众人为他们摇签，摇出马提亚来；他就和十一个使徒同列。Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias. So he was added to the eleven apostles.
