比加辖作以色列王

²²米拿现与他列祖同睡。他儿子比加辖接续他作王。And Menahem rested with his fathers, and his son Pekahiah reigned in his place.

²³犹大王亚撒利雅五十年，米拿现的儿子比加辖在撒马利亚登基作以色列王二年。In the fiftieth year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem became king of Israel and reigned in Samaria two years.

²⁴他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不离开尼八的儿子耶罗波安使以色列人陷在罪里的那罪。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

²⁵比加辖的将军、利玛利的儿子比加背叛他，在撒马利亚王宫里的卫所杀了他。亚珥歌伯和亚利耶并基列的五十人帮助比加；比加击杀他，篡了他的位。Then his officer, Pekah son of Remaliah, conspired against him along with Argob, Arieh, and fifty men of Gilead. And at the citadel of the king’s palace in Samaria, Pekah struck down and killed Pekahiah and reigned in his place.

²⁶比加辖其余的事，凡他所行的都写在以色列诸王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

比加作王，北方居民被掳

²⁷犹大王亚撒利雅五十二年，利玛利的儿子比加在撒马利亚登基作以色列王二十年。In the fifty-second year of Azariah’s reign over Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria twenty years.

²⁸他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不离开尼八的儿子耶罗波安使以色列人陷在罪里的那罪。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD and did not turn away from the sins that Jeroboam son of Nebat had caused Israel to commit.

²⁹以色列王比加年间，亚述王提革拉·毗列色来夺了以云、亚伯·伯·玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利，和拿弗他利全地，将这些地方的居民都掳到亚述去了。In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee, including all the land of Naphtali, and he took the people as captives to Assyria.

何细亚杀比加

³⁰乌西雅的儿子约坦二十年，以拉的儿子何细亚背叛利玛利的儿子比加，击杀他，篡了他的位。Then Hoshea son of Elah led a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah. In the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah, Hoshea attacked Pekah, killed him, and reigned in his place.

³¹比加其余的事，凡他所行的都写在以色列诸王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Pekah, along with all his accomplishments, they are indeed written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

犹大王约坦

³²以色列王利玛利的儿子比加第二年，犹大王乌西雅的儿子约坦登基。In the second year of the reign of Pekah son of Remaliah over Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah became king of Judah.

³³他登基的时候年二十五岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年。他母亲名叫耶路沙，是撒督的女儿。He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok.

³⁴约坦行耶和华眼中看为正的事，效法他父亲乌西雅一切所行的；And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done.

³⁵只是邱坛还没有废去，百姓仍在那里献祭烧香。约坦建立耶和华殿的上门。Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued sacrificing and burning incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the house of the LORD.

³⁶约坦其余的事，凡他所行的都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Jotham, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

³⁷在那些日子，耶和华才使亚兰王利汛和利玛利的儿子比加去攻击犹大。(In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.)

³⁸约坦与他列祖同睡，葬在他祖大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子亚哈斯接续他作王。And Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David his father. And his son Ahaz reigned in his place.

犹大王亚哈斯

¹利玛利的儿子比加十七年，犹大王约坦的儿子亚哈斯登基。In the seventeenth year of Pekah son of Remaliah, Ahaz son of Jotham became king of Judah.

²他登基的时候年二十岁，在耶路撒冷作王十六年；不像他祖大卫行耶和华—他　神眼中看为正的事，Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. And unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the LORD his God.

³却效法以色列诸王所行的，又照着耶和华从以色列人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的儿子经火，Instead, he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel and even sacrificed his son in the fire, according to the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.

⁴并在邱坛上、山冈上、各青翠树下献祭烧香。And he sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.

亚哈斯向亚述求救

⁵亚兰王利汛和以色列王利玛利的儿子比加上来攻打耶路撒冷，围困亚哈斯，却不能胜他。Then Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to wage war against Jerusalem. They besieged Ahaz but could not overcome him.

⁶当时亚兰王利汛收回以拉他归与亚兰，将犹大人从以拉他赶出去。亚兰人（有译以东人的）就来到以拉他，住在那里，直到今日。At that time Rezin king of Aram recovered Elath for Aram, drove out the men of Judah, and sent the Edomites into Elath, where they live to this day.

⁷亚哈斯差遣使者去见亚述王提革拉·毗列色，说：“我是你的仆人、你的儿子。现在亚兰王和以色列王攻击我，求你来救我脱离他们的手。”So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, “I am your servant and your son. Come up and save me from the hands of the kings of Aram and Israel, who are rising up against me.”

⁸亚哈斯将耶和华殿里和王宫府库里所有的金银都送给亚述王为礼物。Ahaz also took the silver and gold found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king’s palace, and he sent it as a gift to the king of Assyria.

⁹亚述王应允了他，就上去攻打大马士革，将城攻取，杀了利汛，把居民掳到吉珥。So the king of Assyria responded to him, marched up to Damascus, and captured it. He took its people to Kir as captives and put Rezin to death.

照大马士革的样式造坛

¹⁰亚哈斯王上大马士革去迎接亚述王提革拉·毗列色，在大马士革看见一座坛，就照坛的规模样式作法画了图样，送到祭司乌利亚那里。Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria. On seeing the altar in Damascus, King Ahaz sent Uriah the priest a model of the altar and complete plans for its construction.

¹¹祭司乌利亚照着亚哈斯王从大马士革送来的图样，在亚哈斯王没有从大马士革回来之先，建筑一座坛。And Uriah the priest built the altar according to all the instructions King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, and he completed it before King Ahaz returned.

¹²王从大马士革回来看见坛，就近前来，在坛上献祭；When the king came back from Damascus and saw the altar, he approached it and presented offerings on it.

¹³烧燔祭、素祭、浇奠祭，将平安祭牲的血洒在坛上，He offered his burnt offering and his grain offering, poured out his drink offering, and splattered the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.

¹⁴又将耶和华面前的铜坛从耶和华殿和新坛的中间搬到新坛的北边。He also took the bronze altar that stood before the LORD from the front of the temple (between the new altar and the house of the LORD) and he put it on the north side of the new altar.

¹⁵亚哈斯王吩咐祭司乌利亚说：“早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众民的燔祭、素祭、奠祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要洒在这坛上，只是铜坛我要用以求问耶和华。”Then King Ahaz commanded Uriah the priest, “Offer on the great altar the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, and the king’s burnt offering and grain offering, as well as the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings of all the people of the land. Splatter on the altar all the blood of the burnt offerings and sacrifices. But I will use the bronze altar to seek guidance.”

¹⁶祭司乌利亚就照着亚哈斯王所吩咐的行了。So Uriah the priest did just as King Ahaz had commanded.

¹⁷亚哈斯王打掉盆座四面镶着的心子，把盆从座上挪下来，又将铜海从驮海的铜牛上搬下来，放在铺石地；King Ahaz also cut off the frames of the movable stands and removed the bronze basin from each of them. He took down the Sea from the bronze oxen that were under it and put it on a stone base.

¹⁸又因亚述王的缘故，将耶和华殿为安息日所盖的廊子和王从外入殿的廊子挪移，围绕耶和华的殿。And on account of the king of Assyria, he removed the Sabbath canopy they had built in the temple and closed the royal entryway outside the house of the LORD.

¹⁹亚哈斯其余所行的事都写在犹大列王记上。As for the rest of the acts of Ahaz, along with his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

²⁰亚哈斯与他列祖同睡，葬在大卫城他列祖的坟地里。他儿子希西家接续他作王。And Ahaz rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David, and his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.

何细亚与撒马利亚陷落

¹犹大王亚哈斯十二年，以拉的儿子何细亚在撒马利亚登基作以色列王九年。In the twelfth year of the reign of Ahaz over Judah, Hoshea son of Elah became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria nine years.

²他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，只是不像在他以前的以色列诸王。And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, but not like the kings of Israel who preceded him.

³亚述王撒缦以色上来攻击何细亚，何细亚就服事他，给他进贡。Shalmaneser king of Assyria attacked him, and Hoshea became his vassal and paid him tribute.

⁴何细亚背叛，差人去见埃及王梭，不照往年所行的与亚述王进贡。亚述王知道了，就把他锁禁，囚在监里。But the king of Assyria discovered that Hoshea had conspired to send envoys to King So of Egypt, and that he had not paid tribute to the king of Assyria as in previous years. Therefore the king of Assyria arrested Hoshea and put him in prison.

⁵亚述王上来攻击以色列遍地，上到撒马利亚，围困三年。Then the king of Assyria invaded the whole land, marched up to Samaria, and besieged it for three years.

⁶何细亚第九年亚述王攻取了撒马利亚，将以色列人掳到亚述，把他们安置在哈腊与歌散的哈博河边，并米底亚人的城邑。In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and carried away the Israelites to Assyria, where he settled them in Halah, in Gozan by the Habor River, and in the cities of the Medes.

北国灭亡的原因

⁷这是因以色列人得罪那领他们出埃及地、脱离埃及王法老手的耶和华—他们的　神，去敬畏别神，All this happened because the people of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. They had worshiped other gods

⁸随从耶和华在他们面前所赶出外邦人的风俗和以色列诸王所立的条规。and walked in the customs of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites, as well as in the practices introduced by the kings of Israel.

⁹以色列人暗中行不正的事，违背耶和华—他们的　神，在他们所有的城邑，从了望楼直到坚固城，建筑邱坛；The Israelites secretly did things against the LORD their God that were not right. From watchtower to fortified city, they built high places in all their cities.

¹⁰在各高冈上、各青翠树下立柱像和木偶；They set up for themselves sacred pillars and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.

¹¹在邱坛上烧香，效法耶和华在他们面前赶出的外邦人所行的，又行恶事惹动耶和华的怒气；They burned incense on all the high places like the nations that the LORD had driven out before them. They did wicked things, provoking the LORD to anger.

¹²且事奉偶像，就是耶和华警戒他们不可行的。They served idols, although the LORD had told them, “You shall not do this thing.”

¹³但耶和华借众先知、先见劝戒以色列人和犹大人说：“当离开你们的恶行，谨守我的诫命律例，遵行我吩咐你们列祖，并借我仆人众先知所传给你们的律法。”Yet through all His prophets and seers, the LORD warned Israel and Judah, saying, “Turn from your wicked ways and keep My commandments and statutes, according to the entire Law that I commanded your fathers and delivered to you through My servants the prophets.”

¹⁴他们却不听从，竟硬着颈项，效法他们列祖，不信服耶和华—他们的　神，But they would not listen, and they stiffened their necks like their fathers, who did not believe the LORD their God.

¹⁵厌弃他的律例和他与他们列祖所立的约，并劝戒他们的话，随从虚无的神，自己成为虚妄，效法周围的外邦人，就是耶和华嘱咐他们不可效法的；They rejected His statutes and the covenant He had made with their fathers, as well as the decrees He had given them. They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves, going after the surrounding nations that the LORD had commanded them not to imitate.

¹⁶离弃耶和华—他们　神的一切诫命，为自己铸了两个牛犊的像，立了亚舍拉，敬拜天上的万象，事奉巴力，They abandoned all the commandments of the LORD their God and made for themselves two cast idols of calves and an Asherah pole. They bowed down to all the host of heaven and served Baal.

¹⁷又使他们的儿女经火，用占卜，行法术卖了自己，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹动他的怒气。They sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire and practiced divination and soothsaying. They devoted themselves to doing evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.

¹⁸所以耶和华向以色列人大大发怒，从自己面前赶出他们，只剩下犹大一个支派。So the LORD was very angry with Israel, and He removed them from His presence. Only the tribe of Judah remained,

¹⁹犹大人也不遵守耶和华—他们　神的诫命，随从以色列人所立的条规。and even Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but lived according to the customs Israel had introduced.

²⁰耶和华就厌弃以色列全族，使他们受苦，把他们交在抢夺他们的人手中，以致赶出他们离开自己面前，So the LORD rejected all the descendants of Israel. He afflicted them and delivered them into the hands of plunderers, until He had banished them from His presence.

²¹将以色列国从大卫家夺回；他们就立尼八的儿子耶罗波安作王。耶罗波安引诱以色列人不随从耶和华，陷在大罪里。When the LORD had torn Israel away from the house of David, they made Jeroboam son of Nebat king, and Jeroboam led Israel away from following the LORD and caused them to commit a great sin.

²²以色列人犯耶罗波安所犯的一切罪，总不离开，The Israelites persisted in all the sins that Jeroboam had committed and did not turn away from them.

²³以致耶和华从自己面前赶出他们，正如借他仆人众先知所说的。这样，以色列人从本地被掳到亚述，直到今日。Finally, the LORD removed Israel from His presence, as He had declared through all His servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their homeland into Assyria, where they are to this day.

外族迁入撒马利亚

²⁴亚述王从巴比伦、古他、亚瓦、哈马，和西法瓦音迁移人来，安置在撒马利亚的城邑，代替以色列人；他们就得了撒马利亚，住在其中。Then the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath, and Sepharvaim and settled them in the towns of Samaria to replace the Israelites. They took possession of Samaria and lived in its towns.

²⁵他们才住那里的时候，不敬畏耶和华，所以耶和华叫狮子进入他们中间，咬死了些人。Now when the settlers first lived there, they did not worship the LORD, so He sent lions among them, which killed some of them.

²⁶有人告诉亚述王说：“你所迁移安置在撒马利亚各城的那些民，不知道那地之神的规矩，所以那神叫狮子进入他们中间，咬死他们。”So they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The peoples that you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the requirements of the God of the land. Because of this, He has sent lions among them, which are indeed killing them off.”

²⁷亚述王就吩咐说：“叫所掳来的祭司回去一个，使他住在那里，将那地之神的规矩指教那些民。”Then the king of Assyria commanded: “Send back one of the priests you carried off from Samaria, and have him go back to live there and teach the requirements of the God of the land.”

²⁸于是有一个从撒马利亚掳去的祭司回来，住在伯特利，指教他们怎样敬畏耶和华。Thus one of the priests they had carried away came and lived in Bethel, and he began to teach them how they should worship the LORD.

各族各拜自己的神

²⁹然而，各族之人在所住的城里各为自己制造神像，安置在撒马利亚人所造有邱坛的殿中。Nevertheless, the people of each nation continued to make their own gods in the cities where they had settled, and they set them up in the shrines that the people of Samaria had made on the high places.

³⁰巴比伦人造疏割·比讷像；古他人造匿甲像；哈马人造亚示玛像；The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,

³¹亚瓦人造匿哈和他珥他像；西法瓦音人用火焚烧儿女，献给西法瓦音的神亚得米勒和亚拿米勒。the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech the gods of Sepharvaim.

³²他们惧怕耶和华，也从他们中间立邱坛的祭司，为他们在有邱坛的殿中献祭。So the new residents worshiped the LORD, but they also appointed for themselves priests of all sorts to serve in the shrines of the high places.

³³他们又惧怕耶和华，又事奉自己的神，从何邦迁移，就随何邦的风俗。They worshiped the LORD, but they also served their own gods according to the customs of the nations from which they had been carried away.

仍照先前的风俗去行

³⁴他们直到如今仍照先前的风俗去行，不专心敬畏耶和华，不全守自己的规矩、典章，也不遵守耶和华吩咐雅各后裔的律法、诫命。〈雅各，就是从前耶和华起名叫以色列的。〉To this day they are still practicing their former customs. None of them worship the LORD or observe the statutes, ordinances, laws, and commandments that the LORD gave the descendants of Jacob, whom He named Israel.

³⁵耶和华曾与他们立约，嘱咐他们说：“不可敬畏别神，不可跪拜事奉他，也不可向他献祭。For the LORD had made a covenant with the Israelites and commanded them, “Do not worship other gods or bow down to them; do not serve them or sacrifice to them.

³⁶但那用大能和伸出来的膀臂领你们出埃及地的耶和华，你们当敬畏，跪拜，向他献祭。Instead, worship the LORD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm. You are to bow down to Him and offer sacrifices to Him.

³⁷他给你们写的律例、典章、律法、诫命，你们应当永远谨守遵行，不可敬畏别神。And you must always be careful to observe the statutes, ordinances, laws, and commandments He wrote for you. Do not worship other gods.

³⁸我—耶和华与你们所立的约你们不可忘记，也不可敬畏别神。Do not forget the covenant I have made with you. Do not worship other gods,

³⁹但要敬畏耶和华—你们的　神，他必救你们脱离一切仇敌的手。”but worship the LORD your God, and He will deliver you from the hands of all your enemies.”

⁴⁰他们却不听从，仍照先前的风俗去行。But they would not listen, and they persisted in their former customs.

⁴¹如此这些民又惧怕耶和华，又事奉他们的偶像。他们子子孙孙也都照样行，效法他们的祖宗，直到今日。So these nations worshiped the LORD but also served their idols, and to this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did.

同我吃饭的人用脚踢我

¹⁸我这话不是指着你们众人说的，我知道我所拣选的是谁。现在要应验经上的话，说：‘同我吃饭的人用脚踢我。’I am not speaking about all of you; I know whom I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the Scripture: ‘The one who shares My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’

¹⁹如今事情还没有成就，我要先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候可以信我是基督。I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it comes to pass, you will believe that I am He.

你们中间有一个人要卖我

²¹耶稣说了这话，心里忧愁，就明说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，你们中间有一个人要卖我了。”After Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit and testified, “Truly, truly, I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”

²²门徒彼此对看，猜不透所说的是谁。The disciples looked at one another, perplexed as to which of them He meant.

²³有一个门徒，是耶稣所爱的，侧身挨近耶稣的怀里。One of His disciples, the one whom Jesus loved, was reclining at His side.

²⁴西门·彼得点头对他说：“你告诉我们，主是指着谁说的。”So Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus which one He was talking about.

²⁵那门徒便就势靠着耶稣的胸膛，问他说：“主啊，是谁呢？”Leaning back against Jesus, he asked, “Lord, who is it?”

²⁶耶稣回答说：“我蘸一点饼给谁，就是谁。”耶稣就蘸了一点饼，递给加略人西门的儿子犹大。Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I give this morsel after I have dipped it.” Then He dipped the morsel and gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

²⁷他吃了以后，撒但就入了他的心。耶稣便对他说：“你所做的，快做吧！”And when Judas had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to Judas, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

²⁸同席的人没有一个知道是为什么对他说这话。But no one at the table knew why Jesus had said this to him.

²⁹有人因犹大带着钱囊，以为耶稣是对他说：“你去买我们过节所应用的东西”，或是叫他拿什么周济穷人。Since Judas kept the money bag, some thought that Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the feast, or to give something to the poor.

³⁰犹大受了那点饼，立刻就出去。那时候是夜间了。As soon as he had received the morsel, Judas went out into the night.

人子得了荣耀

³¹他既出去，耶稣就说：“如今人子得了荣耀，　神在人子身上也得了荣耀。When Judas had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him.

³²神要因自己荣耀人子，并且要快快地荣耀他。If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify the Son in Himself—and will glorify Him at once.

³³小子们，我还有不多的时候与你们同在；后来你们要找我，但我所去的地方你们不能到。这话我曾对犹太人说过，如今也照样对你们说。Little children, I am with you only a little while longer. You will look for Me, and as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you: ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’

彼此相爱的新命令

³⁴我赐给你们一条新命令，乃是叫你们彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样相爱。A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another.

³⁵你们若有彼此相爱的心，众人因此就认出你们是我的门徒了。”By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

预言彼得三次不认主

³⁶西门·彼得问耶稣说：“主往哪里去？”耶稣回答说：“我所去的地方，你现在不能跟我去，后来却要跟我去。”“Lord, where are You going?” Simon Peter asked. Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”

³⁷彼得说：“主啊，我为什么现在不能跟你去？我愿意为你舍命！”“Lord,” said Peter, “why can’t I follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.”

³⁸耶稣说：“你愿意为我舍命吗？我实实在在地告诉你，鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”“Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
