大卫作全以色列的王

¹以色列众支派来到希伯仑见大卫，说：“我们原是你的骨肉。Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, “Here we are, your own flesh and blood.

²从前扫罗作我们王的时候，率领以色列人出入的是你；耶和华也曾应许你说：‘你必牧养我的民以色列，作以色列的君。’”Even in times past, while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them back. And to you the LORD said, ‘You will shepherd My people Israel, and you will be ruler over them.’”

³于是以色列的长老都来到希伯仑见大卫王，大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约，他们就膏大卫作以色列的王。So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, where King David made with them a covenant before the LORD. And they anointed him king over Israel.

⁴大卫登基的时候年三十岁，在位四十年；David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years.

⁵在希伯仑作犹大王七年零六个月，在耶路撒冷作以色列和犹大王三十三年。In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

攻取锡安的保障

⁶大卫和跟随他的人到了耶路撒冷，要攻打住那地方的耶布斯人。耶布斯人对大卫说：“你若不赶出瞎子、瘸子，必不能进这地方”；心里想大卫决不能进去。Now the king and his men marched to Jerusalem against the Jebusites who inhabited the land. The Jebusites said to David: “You will never get in here. Even the blind and lame can repel you.” For they thought, “David cannot get in here.”

⁷然而大卫攻取锡安的保障，就是大卫的城。Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion (that is, the City of David).

⁸当日，大卫说：“谁攻打耶布斯人，当上水沟攻打我心里所恨恶的瘸子、瞎子。”从此有俗语说：“在那里有瞎子、瘸子，他不能进屋去。”On that day he said, “Whoever attacks the Jebusites must use the water shaft to reach the lame and blind who are despised by David.” That is why it is said, “The blind and the lame will never enter the palace.”

⁹大卫住在保障里，给保障起名叫大卫城。大卫又从米罗以里，周围筑墙。So David took up residence in the fortress and called it the City of David. He built it up all the way around, from the supporting terraces inward.

¹⁰大卫日见强盛，因为耶和华—万军之　神与他同在。And David became greater and greater, for the LORD God of Hosts was with him.

大卫的宫殿与家室

¹¹泰尔王希兰将香柏木运到大卫那里，又差遣使者和木匠、石匠给大卫建造宫殿。Now Hiram king of Tyre sent envoys to David, along with cedar logs, carpenters, and stonemasons, and they built a palace for David.

¹²大卫就知道耶和华坚立他作以色列王，又为自己的民以色列使他的国兴旺。And David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.

¹³大卫离开希伯仑之后，在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生儿女。After he had arrived from Hebron, David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, and more sons and daughters were born to him.

¹⁴在耶路撒冷所生的儿子是沙母亚、朔罢、拿单、所罗门、These are the names of the children born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,

¹⁵益辖、以利书亚、尼斐、雅非亚、Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia,

¹⁶以利沙玛、以利雅大、以利法列。Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.

两次打败非利士人

¹⁷非利士人听见人膏大卫作以色列王，非利士众人就上来寻索大卫；大卫听见，就下到保障。When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel, they all went in search of him; but David learned of this and went down to the stronghold.

¹⁸非利士人来了，布散在利乏音谷。Now the Philistines had come and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim.

¹⁹大卫求问耶和华说：“我可以上去攻打非利士人吗？你将他们交在我手里吗？”耶和华说：“你可以上去，我必将非利士人交在你手里。”So David inquired of the LORD, “Should I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” “Go up,” replied the LORD, “for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

²⁰大卫来到巴力·毗拉心，在那里击杀非利士人，说：“耶和华在我面前冲破敌人，如同水冲去一般。”因此称那地方为巴力·毗拉心。So David went to Baal-perazim, where he defeated the Philistines and said, “Like a bursting flood, the LORD has burst out against my enemies before me.” So he called that place Baal-perazim.

²¹非利士人将偶像撇在那里，大卫和跟随他的人拿去了。There the Philistines abandoned their idols, and David and his men carried them away.

²²非利士人又上来，布散在利乏音谷。Once again the Philistines came up and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim.

²³大卫求问耶和华；耶和华说：“不要一直地上去，要转到他们后头，从桑林对面攻打他们。So David inquired of the LORD, who answered, “Do not march straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the balsam trees.

²⁴你听见桑树梢上有脚步的声音，就要急速前去，因为那时耶和华已经在你前头去攻打非利士人的军队。”As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move quickly, because this will mean that the LORD has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”

²⁵大卫就遵着耶和华所吩咐的去行，攻打非利士人，从迦巴直到基色。So David did as the LORD had commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.

运约柜，乌撒被击杀

¹大卫又聚集以色列中所有挑选的人三万。David again assembled the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand in all.

²大卫起身，率领跟随他的众人前往，要从巴拉·犹大将　神的约柜运来；这约柜就是坐在二基路伯上万军之耶和华留名的约柜。And he and all his troops set out for Baale of Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name—the name of the LORD of Hosts, who is enthroned between the cherubim that are on it.

³他们将　神的约柜从冈上亚比拿达的家里抬出来，放在新车上；亚比拿达的两个儿子乌撒和亚希约赶这新车。They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart,

⁴他们将　神的约柜从冈上亚比拿达家里抬出来的时候，亚希约在柜前行走。bringing with it the ark of God. And Ahio was walking in front of the ark.

⁵大卫和以色列的全家在耶和华面前，用松木制造的各样乐器和琴、瑟、鼓、钹、锣，作乐跳舞。David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the LORD with all kinds of wood instruments, harps, stringed instruments, tambourines, sistrums, and cymbals.

⁶到了拿艮的禾场，因为牛失前蹄（或译：惊跳），乌撒就伸手扶住　神的约柜。When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen had stumbled.

⁷神耶和华向乌撒发怒，因这错误击杀他，他就死在　神的约柜旁。And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down on the spot for his irreverence, and he died there beside the ark of God.

⁸大卫因耶和华击杀（原文是闯杀）乌撒，心里愁烦，就称那地方为毗列斯·乌撒，直到今日。Then David became angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah. So he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.

约柜留在俄别以东家

⁹那日，大卫惧怕耶和华，说：“耶和华的约柜怎可运到我这里来？”That day David feared the LORD and asked, “How can the ark of the LORD ever come to me?”

¹⁰于是大卫不肯将耶和华的约柜运进大卫的城，却运到迦特人俄别·以东的家中。So he was unwilling to move the ark of the LORD to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

¹¹耶和华的约柜在迦特人俄别·以东家中三个月；耶和华赐福给俄别·以东和他的全家。Thus the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite for three months, and the LORD blessed him and all his household.

大卫跳舞迎约柜进城

¹²有人告诉大卫王说：“耶和华因为约柜赐福给俄别·以东的家和一切属他的。”大卫就去，欢欢喜喜地将　神的约柜从俄别·以东家中抬到大卫的城里。Now it was reported to King David, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and had the ark of God brought up from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David with rejoicing.

¹³抬耶和华约柜的人走了六步，大卫就献牛与肥羊为祭。When those carrying the ark of the LORD had advanced six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.

¹⁴大卫穿着细麻布的以弗得，在耶和华面前极力跳舞。And David, wearing a linen ephod, danced with all his might before the LORD,

¹⁵这样，大卫和以色列的全家欢呼吹角，将耶和华的约柜抬上来。while he and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and the sounding of the ram’s horn.

¹⁶耶和华的约柜进了大卫城的时候，扫罗的女儿米甲从窗户里观看，见大卫王在耶和华面前踊跃跳舞，心里就轻视他。As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from a window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart.

¹⁷众人将耶和华的约柜请进去，安放在所预备的地方，就是在大卫所搭的帐幕里。大卫在耶和华面前献燔祭和平安祭。So they brought the ark of the LORD and set it in its place inside the tent that David had pitched for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

¹⁸大卫献完了燔祭和平安祭，就奉万军之耶和华的名给民祝福，When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of Hosts.

¹⁹并且分给以色列众人，无论男女，每人一个饼，一块肉，一个葡萄饼；众人就各回各家去了。Then he distributed to every man and woman among the multitude of Israel a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake. And all the people departed, each to his own home.

米甲轻视大卫

²⁰大卫回家要给眷属祝福；扫罗的女儿米甲出来迎接他，说：“以色列王今日在臣仆的婢女眼前露体，如同一个轻贱人无耻露体一样，有好大的荣耀啊！”When David returned home to bless his own household, Saul’s daughter Michal came out to meet him. “How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today!” she said. “He has uncovered himself today in the sight of the maidservants of his subjects, like a vulgar person would do.”

大卫想为神建殿

¹王住在自己宫中，耶和华使他安靖，不被四围的仇敌扰乱。After the king had settled into his palace and the LORD had given him rest from all his enemies around him,

²那时，王对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，　神的约柜反在幔子里。”he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent.”

³拿单对王说：“你可以照你的心意而行，因为耶和华与你同在。”And Nathan replied to the king, “Go and do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.”

神藉拿单的应许

⁴当夜，耶和华的话临到拿单说：But that night the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying,

⁵“你去告诉我仆人大卫，说耶和华如此说：‘你岂可建造殿宇给我居住呢？“Go and tell My servant David that this is what the LORD says: Are you the one to build for Me a house to dwell in?

⁶自从我领以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇，常在会幕和帐幕中行走。For I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt until this day, but I have moved about with a tent as My dwelling.

⁷凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列一支派的士师，就是我吩咐牧养我民以色列的说：你们为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？’In all My journeys with all the Israelites, have I ever asked any of the leaders I appointed to shepherd My people Israel, ‘Why haven’t you built Me a house of cedar?’

⁸“现在，你要告诉我仆人大卫，说万军之耶和华如此说：‘我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再跟从羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。Now then, you are to tell My servant David that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, to be the ruler over My people Israel.

⁹你无论往哪里去，我常与你同在，剪除你的一切仇敌。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一样。I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make for you a name like that of the greatest in the land.

¹⁰我必为我民以色列选定一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住自己的地方，不再迁移；凶恶之子也不像从前扰害他们，And I will provide a place for My people Israel and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own and be disturbed no more. No longer will the sons of wickedness oppress them as they did at the beginning

¹¹并不像我命士师治理我民以色列的时候一样。我必使你安靖，不被一切仇敌扰乱，并且我—耶和华应许你，必为你建立家室。and have done since the day I appointed judges over My people Israel. I will give you rest from all your enemies. The LORD declares to you that He Himself will establish a house for you.

¹²你寿数满足、与你列祖同睡的时候，我必使你的后裔接续你的位；我也必坚定他的国。And when your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.

¹³他必为我的名建造殿宇；我必坚定他的国位，直到永远。He will build a house for My Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

¹⁶你的家和你的国必在我（原文是你）面前永远坚立。你的国位也必坚定，直到永远。’”Your house and kingdom will endure forever before Me, and your throne will be established forever.”

¹⁷拿单就按这一切话，照这默示，告诉大卫。So Nathan relayed to David all the words of this entire revelation.

大卫感恩的祷告

¹⁸于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说：“主耶和华啊，我是谁？我的家算什么？你竟使我到这地步呢？Then King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said, “Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far?

¹⁹主耶和华啊，这在你眼中还看为小，又应许你仆人的家至于久远。主耶和华啊，这岂是人所常遇的事吗？And as if this was a small thing in Your eyes, O Lord GOD, You have also spoken about the future of the house of Your servant. Is this Your custom with man, O Lord GOD?

²⁰主耶和华啊，我还有何言可以对你说呢？因为你知道你的仆人。What more can David say to You? For You know Your servant, O Lord GOD.

²¹你行这大事使仆人知道，是因你所应许的话，也是照你的心意。For the sake of Your word and according to Your own heart, You have accomplished this great thing and revealed it to Your servant.

²²主耶和华啊，你本为大，照我们耳中听见，没有可比你的；除你以外再无　神。How great You are, O Lord GOD! For there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.

²³世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人和他们的　神，显出你的大名。And who is like Your people Israel—the one nation on earth whom God went out to redeem as a people for Himself and to make a name for Himself? You performed great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before Your people, whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt.

²⁴你曾坚立你的民以色列作你的子民，直到永远；你—耶和华也作了他们的　神。For You have established Your people Israel as Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.

²⁵“耶和华　神啊，你所应许仆人和仆人家的话，求你坚定，直到永远；照你所说的而行。And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word You have spoken concerning Your servant and his house. Do as You have promised,

²⁶愿人永远尊你的名为大，说：‘万军之耶和华是治理以色列的　神。’这样，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。so that Your name will be magnified forever when it is said, ‘The LORD of Hosts is God over Israel.’ And the house of Your servant David will be established before You.

²⁷万军之耶和华—以色列的　神啊，因你启示你的仆人说：‘我必为你建立家室’，所以仆人大胆向你如此祈祷。For You, O LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to Your servant when You said, ‘I will build a house for you.’ Therefore Your servant has found the courage to offer this prayer to You.

²⁸“主耶和华啊，惟有你是　神。你的话是真实的；你也应许将这福气赐给仆人。And now, O Lord GOD, You are God! Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant.

²⁹现在求你赐福与仆人的家，可以永存在你面前。主耶和华啊，这是你所应许的。愿你永远赐福与仆人的家！”Now therefore, may it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You. For You, O Lord GOD, have spoken, and with Your blessing the house of Your servant will be blessed forever.”

不要为我哭

²⁷有许多百姓跟随耶稣，内中有好些妇女；妇女们为他号咷痛哭。A great number of people followed Him, including women who kept mourning and wailing for Him.

²⁸耶稣转身对她们说：“耶路撒冷的女子，不要为我哭，当为自己和自己的儿女哭。But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

²⁹因为日子要到，人必说：‘不生育的，和未曾怀胎的，未曾乳养婴孩的，有福了！’Look, the days are coming when people will say, ‘Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore, and breasts that never nursed!’

³⁰那时，人要向大山说：倒在我们身上！向小山说：遮盖我们！At that time ‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’

在髑髅地被钉

³²又有两个犯人，和耶稣一同带来处死。Two others, who were criminals, were also led away to be executed with Jesus.

³³到了一个地方，名叫“髑髅地”，就在那里把耶稣钉在十字架上，又钉了两个犯人：一个在左边，一个在右边。When they came to the place called The Skull, they crucified Him there, along with the criminals, one on His right and the other on His left.

³⁴当下耶稣说：“父啊！赦免他们；因为他们所做的，他们不晓得。”兵丁就拈阄分他的衣服。Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up His garments by casting lots.

众人讥诮

³⁵百姓站在那里观看。官府也嗤笑他，说：“他救了别人；他若是基督，　神所拣选的，可以救自己吧！”The people stood watching, and the rulers sneered at Him, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.”

³⁶兵丁也戏弄他，上前拿醋送给他喝，The soldiers also mocked Him and came up to offer Him sour wine.

³⁷说：“你若是犹太人的王，可以救自己吧！”“If You are the King of the Jews,” they said, “save Yourself!”

³⁸在耶稣以上有一个牌子（有古卷加：用希腊、罗马、希伯来的文字）写着：“这是犹太人的王。”Above Him was posted an inscription: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

同钉的犯人

³⁹那同钉的两个犯人有一个讥笑他，说：“你不是基督吗？可以救自己和我们吧！”One of the criminals who hung there heaped abuse on Him. “Are You not the Christ?” he said. “Save Yourself and us!”

⁴⁰那一个就应声责备他，说：“你既是一样受刑的，还不怕　神吗？But the other one rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same judgment?

⁴¹我们是应该的，因我们所受的与我们所做的相称，但这个人没有做过一件不好的事。”We are punished justly, for we are receiving what our actions deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

⁴²就说：“耶稣啊，你得国降临的时候，求你记念我！”Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”

⁴³耶稣对他说：“我实在告诉你，今日你要同我在乐园里了。”And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

遍地黑暗，幔子裂开

⁴⁴那时约有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land until the ninth hour.

⁴⁵日头变黑了；殿里的幔子从当中裂为两半。The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn down the middle.

⁴⁶耶稣大声喊着说：“父啊！我将我的灵魂交在你手里。”说了这话，气就断了。Then Jesus called out in a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit.” And when He had said this, He breathed His last.

百夫长的见证

⁴⁷百夫长看见所成的事，就归荣耀与　神，说：“这真是个义人！”When the centurion saw what had happened, he gave glory to God, saying, “Surely this was a righteous man.”

⁴⁸聚集观看的众人见了这所成的事都捶着胸回去了。And when all the people who had gathered for this spectacle saw what had happened, they returned home beating their breasts.

⁴⁹还有一切与耶稣熟识的人，和从加利利跟着他来的妇女们，都远远地站着看这些事。But all those who knew Jesus, including the women who had followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance watching these things.

约瑟安葬耶稣

⁵⁰有一个人名叫约瑟，是个议士，为人善良公义；Now there was a Council member named Joseph, a good and righteous man,

⁵¹众人所谋所为，他并没有附从。他本是犹太、亚利马太城里素常盼望　神国的人。who had not consented to their decision or action. He was from the Judean town of Arimathea and was waiting for the kingdom of God.

⁵²这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体，He went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.

⁵³就取下来，用细麻布裹好，安放在石头凿成的坟墓里；那里头从来没有葬过人。Then he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, and placed it in a tomb cut into the rock, where no one had yet been laid.

⁵⁴那日是预备日，安息日也快到了。It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was beginning.

妇女预备香料

⁵⁵那些从加利利和耶稣同来的妇女跟在后面，看见了坟墓和他的身体怎样安放。The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was placed.

⁵⁶她们就回去，预备了香料香膏。她们在安息日，便遵着诫命安息了。Then they returned to prepare spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath, according to the commandment.
