大卫投奔非利士

¹大卫心里说：“必有一日我死在扫罗手里，不如逃奔非利士地去。扫罗见我不在以色列的境内，就必绝望，不再寻索我；这样我可以脱离他的手。”David, however, said to himself, “One of these days now I will be swept away by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than to escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will stop searching for me all over Israel, and I will slip out of his hand.”

²于是大卫起身，和跟随他的六百人投奔迦特王—玛俄的儿子亚吉去了。So David set out with his six hundred men and went to Achish son of Maoch, the king of Gath.

³大卫和他的两个妻，就是耶斯列人亚希暖和作过拿八妻的迦密人亚比该，并跟随他的人，连各人的眷属，都住在迦特的亚吉那里。David and his men settled in Gath with Achish. Each man had his family with him, and David had his two wives: Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail of Carmel, the widow of Nabal.

⁴有人告诉扫罗说：“大卫逃到迦特。”扫罗就不再寻索他了。And when Saul learned that David had fled to Gath, he no longer searched for him.

⁵大卫对亚吉说：“我若在你眼前蒙恩，求你在京外的城邑中赐我一个地方居住。仆人何必与王同住京都呢？”Then David said to Achish, “If I have found favor in your eyes, let me be assigned a place in one of the outlying towns, so I can live there. For why should your servant live in the royal city with you?”

⁶当日亚吉将洗革拉赐给他，因此洗革拉属犹大王，直到今日。That day Achish gave him Ziklag, and to this day it still belongs to the kings of Judah.

⁷大卫在非利士地住了一年零四个月。And the time that David lived in Philistine territory amounted to a year and four months.

大卫在洗革拉侵夺各族

⁸大卫和跟随他的人上去，侵夺基述人、基色人、亚玛力人之地。这几族历来住在那地，从书珥直到埃及。Now David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites. (From ancient times these people had inhabited the land extending to Shur and Egypt.)

⁹大卫击杀那地的人，无论男女都没有留下一个，又夺获牛、羊、骆驼、驴，并衣服，回来见亚吉。Whenever David attacked a territory, he did not leave a man or woman alive, but he took the flocks and herds, the donkeys, camels, and clothing. Then he would return to Achish,

¹⁰亚吉说：“你们今日侵夺了什么地方呢？”大卫说：“侵夺了犹大的南方、耶拉篾的南方、基尼的南方。”who would ask him, “What have you raided today?” And David would reply, “The Negev of Judah,” or “The Negev of Jerahmeel,” or “The Negev of the Kenites.”

¹¹无论男女，大卫没有留下一个带到迦特来。他说：“恐怕他们将我们的事告诉人，说大卫住在非利士地的时候常常这样行。”David did not leave a man or woman alive to be brought to Gath, for he said, “Otherwise they will report us, saying, ‘This is what David did.’” And this was David’s custom the whole time he lived in Philistine territory.

¹²亚吉信了大卫，心里说：“大卫使本族以色列人憎恶他，所以他必永远作我的仆人了。”So Achish trusted David, thinking, “Since he has made himself an utter stench to his people Israel, he will be my servant forever.”

大卫要随亚吉出战

¹那时，非利士人聚集军旅，要与以色列人打仗。亚吉对大卫说：“你当知道，你和跟随你的人都要随我出战。”Now in those days the Philistines gathered their forces for warfare against Israel. So Achish said to David, “You must understand that you and your men are to go out to battle with me.”

²大卫对亚吉说：“仆人所能做的事，王必知道。”亚吉对大卫说：“这样，我立你永远作我的护卫长。”David replied, “Then you will come to know what your servant can do.” “Very well,” said Achish. “I will make you my bodyguard for life.”

扫罗惧怕，求问神无回应

³那时撒母耳已经死了，以色列众人为他哀哭，葬他在拉玛，就是在他本城里。扫罗曾在国内不容有交鬼的和行巫术的人。Now by this time Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had removed the mediums and spiritists from the land.

⁴非利士人聚集，来到书念安营；扫罗聚集以色列众人在基利波安营。The Philistines gathered together and camped at Shunem, while Saul gathered all Israel and camped at Gilboa.

⁵扫罗看见非利士的军旅就惧怕，心中发颤。When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid and trembled violently.

⁶扫罗求问耶和华，耶和华却不借梦，或乌陵，或先知回答他。He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.

扫罗找隐多珥交鬼的妇人

⁷扫罗吩咐臣仆说：“当为我找一个交鬼的妇人，我好去问她。”臣仆说：“在隐·多珥有一个交鬼的妇人。”Then Saul said to his servants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I can go and consult her.” “There is a medium at Endor,” his servants replied.

⁸于是扫罗改了装，穿上别的衣服，带着两个人，夜里去见那妇人。扫罗说：“求你用交鬼的法术，将我所告诉你的死人，为我招上来。”So Saul disguised himself by putting on different clothes, and he set out with two of his men. They came to the woman at night, and Saul said, “Consult a spirit for me. Bring up for me the one I name.”

⁹妇人对他说：“你知道扫罗从国中剪除交鬼的和行巫术的。你为何陷害我的性命，使我死呢？”But the woman replied, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has killed the mediums and spiritists in the land. Why have you set a trap to get me killed?”

¹⁰扫罗向妇人指着耶和华起誓说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，你必不因这事受刑。”Then Saul swore to her by the LORD: “As surely as the LORD lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this.”

¹¹妇人说：“我为你招谁上来呢？”回答说：“为我招撒母耳上来。”“Whom shall I bring up for you?” the woman asked. “Bring up Samuel,” he replied.

¹²妇人看见撒母耳，就大声呼叫，对扫罗说：“你是扫罗，为什么欺哄我呢？”But when the woman saw Samuel, she cried out in a loud voice and said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!”

¹³王对妇人说：“不要惧怕，你看见了什么呢？”妇人对扫罗说：“我看见有神从地里上来。”“Do not be afraid,” the king replied. “What do you see?” “I see a god coming up out of the earth,” the woman answered.

¹⁴扫罗说：“他是怎样的形状？”妇人说：“有一个老人上来，身穿长衣。”扫罗知道是撒母耳，就屈身，脸伏于地下拜。“What does he look like?” asked Saul. “An old man is coming up,” she replied. “And he is wearing a robe.” So Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed facedown in reverence.

撒母耳宣告扫罗的结局

¹⁵撒母耳对扫罗说：“你为什么搅扰我，招我上来呢？”扫罗回答说：“我甚窘急；因为非利士人攻击我，　神也离开我，不再借先知或梦回答我。因此请你上来，好指示我应当怎样行。”Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” “I am deeply distressed,” replied Saul. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has turned away from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”

¹⁶撒母耳说：“耶和华已经离开你，且与你为敌，你何必问我呢？“Why do you consult me,” asked Samuel, “since the LORD has turned away from you and become your enemy?

¹⁷耶和华照他借我说的话，已经从你手里夺去国权，赐与别人，就是大卫。He has done exactly what He spoke through me: The LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor David.

¹⁸因你没有听从耶和华的命令；他恼怒亚玛力人，你没有灭绝他们，所以今日耶和华向你这样行，Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out His burning anger against Amalek, the LORD has done this to you today.

¹⁹并且耶和华必将你和以色列人交在非利士人的手里。明日你和你众子必与我在一处了；耶和华必将以色列的军兵交在非利士人手里。”Moreover, the LORD will deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. And the LORD will deliver the army of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.”

妇人劝扫罗吃饭

²⁰扫罗猛然仆倒，挺身在地，因撒母耳的话甚是惧怕；那一昼一夜，没有吃什么，就毫无气力。Immediately Saul fell flat on the ground, terrified by the words of Samuel. And his strength was gone, because he had not eaten anything all that day and night.

²¹妇人到扫罗面前，见他极其惊恐，对他说：“婢女听从你的话，不顾惜自己的性命，遵从你所吩咐的。When the woman came to Saul and saw how distraught he was, she said to him, “Look, your maidservant has obeyed your voice. I took my life in my hands and did as you told me.

²²现在求你听婢女的话，容我在你面前摆上一点食物，你吃了，可以有气力行路。”Now please listen to your servant and let me set a morsel of bread before you so you may eat and have the strength to go on your way.”

²³扫罗不肯，说：“我不吃。”但他的仆人和妇人再三劝他，他才听了他们的话，从地上起来，坐在床上。Saul refused, saying, “I will not eat.” But his servants joined the woman in urging him, and he heeded their voice. He got up from the ground and sat on the bed.

²⁴妇人急忙将家里的一只肥牛犊宰了，又拿面抟成无酵饼烤了，The woman had a fattened calf at her house, and she quickly slaughtered it. She also took flour, kneaded it, and baked unleavened bread.

²⁵摆在扫罗和他仆人面前。他们吃完，当夜就起身走了。She served it to Saul and his servants, and they ate. And that night they got up and left.

非利士首领不信任大卫

¹非利士人将他们的军旅聚到亚弗；以色列人在耶斯列的泉旁安营。Now the Philistines brought all their forces together at Aphek, while Israel camped by the spring in Jezreel.

²非利士人的首领各率军队，或百或千，挨次前进；大卫和跟随他的人同着亚吉跟在后边。As the Philistine leaders marched out with their units of hundreds and thousands, David and his men marched behind them with Achish.

³非利士人的首领说：“这些希伯来人在这里做什么呢？”亚吉对他们说：“这不是以色列王扫罗的臣子大卫吗？他在我这里有些年日了。自从他投降我直到今日，我未曾见他有过错。”Then the commanders of the Philistines asked, “What about these Hebrews?” Achish replied, “Is this not David, the servant of King Saul of Israel? He has been with me all these days, even years, and from the day he defected until today I have found no fault in him.”

⁴非利士人的首领向亚吉发怒，对他说：“你要叫这人回你所安置他的地方，不可叫他同我们出战，恐怕他在阵上反为我们的敌人。他用什么与他主人复和呢？岂不是用我们这些人的首级吗？But the commanders of the Philistines were angry with Achish and told him, “Send that man back and let him return to the place you assigned him. He must not go down with us into battle only to become our adversary during the war. What better way for him to regain the favor of his master than with the heads of our men?

⁵从前以色列的妇女跳舞唱和说：‘扫罗杀死千千，大卫杀死万万’，所说的不是这个大卫吗？”Is this not the David about whom they sing in their dances: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’?”

⁶亚吉叫大卫来，对他说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，你是正直人。你随我在军中出入，我看你甚好。自从你投奔我到如今，我未曾见你有什么过失；只是众首领不喜悦你。So Achish summoned David and told him, “As surely as the LORD lives, you have been upright, and it seems right in my sight that you should march in and out with me in the army, because I have found no fault in you from the day you came to me until this day. But you are not good in the sight of the leaders.

⁷现在你可以平平安安地回去，免得非利士人的首领不欢喜你。”Therefore turn back now and go in peace, so that you will not do anything to displease the leaders of the Philistines.”

⁸大卫对亚吉说：“我做了什么呢？自从仆人到你面前，直到今日，你查出我有什么过错，使我不去攻击主—我王的仇敌呢？”“But what have I done?” David replied. “What have you found against your servant, from the day I came to you until today, to keep me from going along to fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”

⁹亚吉说：“我知道你在我眼前是好人，如同　神的使者一般；只是非利士人的首领说：‘这人不可同我们出战。’Achish replied, “I know that you are as pleasing in my sight as an angel of God. But the commanders of the Philistines have said, ‘He must not go into battle with us.’

¹⁰故此你和跟随你的人，就是你本主的仆人，要明日早晨起来，等到天亮回去吧！”Now then, get up early in the morning, along with your master’s servants who came with you, and go as soon as it is light.”

¹¹于是大卫和跟随他的人早晨起来，回往非利士地去。非利士人也上耶斯列去了。So David and his men got up early in the morning to return to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

洗革拉被焚掠

¹第三日，大卫和跟随他的人到了洗革拉。亚玛力人已经侵夺南地，攻破洗革拉，用火焚烧，On the third day David and his men arrived in Ziklag, and the Amalekites had raided the Negev, attacked Ziklag, and burned it down.

²掳了城内的妇女和其中的大小人口，却没有杀一个，都带着走了。They had taken captive the women and all who were there, both young and old. They had not killed anyone, but had carried them off as they went on their way.

³大卫和跟随他的人到了那城，不料，城已烧毁，他们的妻子儿女都被掳去了。When David and his men came to the city, they found it burned down and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive.

⁴大卫和跟随他的人就放声大哭，直哭得没有气力。So David and the troops with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no strength left to weep.

⁵大卫的两个妻—耶斯列人亚希暖和作过拿八妻的迦密人亚比该，也被掳去了。David’s two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel, had been taken captive.

大卫倚靠神，求问耶和华

⁶大卫甚是焦急，因众人为自己的儿女苦恼，说：“要用石头打死他。”大卫却倚靠耶和华—他的　神，心里坚固。And David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of every man grieved for his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

⁷大卫对亚希米勒的儿子祭司亚比亚他说：“请你将以弗得拿过来。”亚比亚他就将以弗得拿到大卫面前。Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,

⁸大卫求问耶和华说：“我追赶敌军，追得上追不上呢？”耶和华说：“你可以追，必追得上，都救得回来。”and David inquired of the LORD: “Should I pursue these raiders? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” the LORD replied, “for you will surely overtake them and rescue the captives.”

⁹于是，大卫和跟随他的六百人来到比梭溪；有不能前去的就留在那里。So David and his six hundred men went to the Brook of Besor, where some stayed behind

¹⁰大卫却带着四百人往前追赶，有二百人疲乏，不能过比梭溪，所以留在那里。because two hundred men were too exhausted to cross the brook. But David and four hundred men continued in pursuit.

埃及少年带路，夺回一切

¹¹这四百人在田野遇见一个埃及人，就带他到大卫面前，给他饼吃，给他水喝，Now his men found an Egyptian in the field and brought him to David. They gave the man water to drink and food to eat—

¹²又给他一块无花果饼，两个葡萄饼。他吃了，就精神复原；因为他三日三夜没有吃饼，没有喝水。a piece of a fig cake and two clusters of raisins. So he ate and was revived, for he had not had any food or water for three days and three nights.

¹³大卫问他说：“你是属谁的？你是哪里的人？”他回答说：“我是埃及的少年人，是亚玛力人的奴仆；因我三日前患病，我主人就把我撇弃了。Then David asked him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” “I am an Egyptian,” he replied, “the slave of an Amalekite. My master abandoned me three days ago when I fell ill.

¹⁴我们侵夺了基利提的南方和属犹大的地，并迦勒地的南方，又用火烧了洗革拉。”We raided the Negev of the Cherethites, the territory of Judah, and the Negev of Caleb, and we burned down Ziklag.”

¹⁵大卫问他说：“你肯领我们到敌军那里不肯？”他回答说：“你要向我指着　神起誓，不杀我，也不将我交在我主人手里，我就领你下到敌军那里。”“Will you lead me to these raiders?” David asked. And the man replied, “Swear to me by God that you will not kill me or deliver me into the hand of my master, and I will lead you to them.”

¹⁶那人领大卫下去，见他们散在地上，吃喝跳舞，因为从非利士地和犹大地所掳来的财物甚多。So he led David down, and there were the Amalekites spread out over all the land, eating, drinking, and celebrating the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and the land of Judah.

¹⁷大卫从黎明直到次日晚上，击杀他们，除了四百骑骆驼的少年人之外，没有一个逃脱的。And David struck them down from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man escaped, except four hundred young men who fled, riding off on camels.

¹⁸亚玛力人所掳去的财物，大卫全都夺回，并救回他的两个妻来。So David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives.

¹⁹凡亚玛力人所掳去的，无论大小、儿女、财物，大卫都夺回来，没有失落一个。Nothing was missing, young or old, son or daughter, or any of the plunder the Amalekites had taken. David brought everything back.

²⁰大卫所夺来的牛群羊群，跟随他的人赶在原有的群畜前边，说：“这是大卫的掠物。”And he took all the flocks and herds, which his men drove ahead of the other livestock, calling out, “This is David’s plunder!”

上阵的和看守器具的平分

²¹大卫到了那疲乏不能跟随、留在比梭溪的二百人那里。他们出来迎接大卫并跟随的人。大卫前来问他们安。When David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow him and who were left behind at the Brook of Besor, they came out to meet him and the troops with him. As David approached the men, he greeted them,

²²跟随大卫人中的恶人和匪类说：“这些人既然没有和我们同去，我们所夺的财物就不分给他们，只将他们各人的妻子儿女给他们，使他们带去就是了。”but all the wicked and worthless men among those who had gone with David said, “Because they did not go with us, we will not share with them the plunder we recovered, except for each man’s wife and children. They may take them and go.”

²³大卫说：“弟兄们，耶和华所赐给我们的，不可不分给他们；因为他保佑我们，将那攻击我们的敌军交在我们手里。But David said, “My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He has protected us and delivered into our hands the raiders who came against us.

²⁴这事谁肯依从你们呢？上阵的得多少，看守器具的也得多少；应当大家平分。”Who will listen to your proposal? The share of the one who went to battle will match the share of the one who stayed with the supplies. They will share alike.”

²⁵大卫定此为以色列的律例典章，从那日直到今日。And so it has been from that day forward. David established this statute and ordinance for Israel to this very day.

²⁶大卫到了洗革拉，从掠物中取些送给他朋友犹大的长老，说：“这是从耶和华仇敌那里夺来的，送你们为礼物。”When David arrived in Ziklag, he sent some of the plunder to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying, “Here is a gift for you from the plunder of the LORD’s enemies.”

²⁷他送礼物给住伯特利的，南地拉末的，雅提珥的；He sent gifts to those in Bethel, Ramoth Negev, and Jattir;

²⁸住亚罗珥的，息末的，以实提莫的；to those in Aroer, Siphmoth, and Eshtemoa;

²⁹住拉哈勒的，耶拉篾各城的，基尼各城的；to those in Racal and in the cities of the Jerahmeelites and Kenites;

³⁰住何珥玛的，歌拉珊的，亚挞的；to those in Hormah, Bor-ashan, and Athach;

³¹住希伯仑的，并大卫和跟随他的人素来所到之处的人。and to those in Hebron and in all the places where David and his men had roamed.

扫罗和儿子们战死

¹非利士人与以色列人争战。以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波有被杀仆倒的。Now the Philistines fought against Israel, and the men of Israel fled before them, and many fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

²非利士人紧追扫罗和他儿子们，就杀了扫罗的儿子约拿单、亚比拿达、麦基舒亚。The Philistines hotly pursued Saul and his sons, and they killed Saul’s sons Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchishua.

³势派甚大，扫罗被弓箭手追上，射伤甚重，When the battle intensified against Saul, the archers overtook him and wounded him critically.

⁴就吩咐拿他兵器的人说：“你拔出刀来，将我刺死，免得那些未受割礼的人来刺我，凌辱我。”但拿兵器的人甚惧怕，不肯刺他；扫罗就自己伏在刀上死了。Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and run me through with it, or these uncircumcised men will come and run me through and torture me!” But his armor-bearer was terrified and refused to do it. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

⁵拿兵器的人见扫罗已死，也伏在刀上死了。When his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his own sword and died with him.

⁶这样，扫罗和他三个儿子，与拿他兵器的人，以及跟随他的人，都一同死亡。So Saul, his three sons, his armor-bearer, and all his men died together that same day.

⁷住平原那边并约旦河西的以色列人，见以色列军兵逃跑，扫罗和他儿子都死了，也就弃城逃跑。非利士人便来住在其中。When the Israelites along the valley and those on the other side of the Jordan saw that the army of Israel had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their cities and ran away. So the Philistines came and occupied their cities.

⁸次日，非利士人来剥那被杀之人的衣服，看见扫罗和他三个儿子仆倒在基利波山，The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his three sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

⁹就割下他的首级，剥了他的军装，打发人到（或译：送到）非利士地的四境，报信与他们庙里的偶像和众民；They cut off Saul’s head, stripped off his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news in the temples of their idols and among their people.

¹⁰又将扫罗的军装放在亚斯她录庙里，将他的尸身钉在伯·珊的城墙上。They put his armor in the temple of the Ashtoreths and hung his body on the wall of Beth-shan.

基列雅比人安葬扫罗

¹¹基列·雅比的居民听见非利士人向扫罗所行的事，When the people of Jabesh-gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul,

¹²他们中间所有的勇士就起身，走了一夜，将扫罗和他儿子的尸身从伯·珊城墙上取下来，送到雅比那里，用火烧了；all their men of valor set out, journeyed all night, and retrieved the bodies of Saul and his sons from the wall of Beth-shan. When they arrived at Jabesh, they burned the bodies there.

¹³将他们骸骨葬在雅比的垂丝柳树下，就禁食七日。Then they took their bones and buried them under the tamarisk tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.

犹大用亲嘴出卖耶稣

⁴⁷说话之间，来了许多人。那十二个门徒里名叫犹大的，走在前头，就近耶稣，要与他亲嘴。While He was still speaking, a crowd arrived, led by the man called Judas, one of the Twelve. He approached Jesus to kiss Him.

⁴⁸耶稣对他说：“犹大！你用亲嘴的暗号卖人子吗？”But Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

耶稣治好被砍的耳朵

⁴⁹左右的人见光景不好，就说：“主啊！我们拿刀砍可以不可以？”Those around Jesus saw what was about to happen and said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”

⁵⁰内中有一个人把大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他的右耳。And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

⁵¹耶稣说：“到了这个地步，由他们吧！”就摸那人的耳朵，把他治好了。But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him.

⁵²耶稣对那些来拿他的祭司长和守殿官并长老说：“你们带着刀棒出来拿我，如同拿强盗吗？Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple officers, and elders who had come for Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against an outlaw?

⁵³我天天同你们在殿里，你们不下手拿我。现在却是你们的时候，黑暗掌权了。”Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”

彼得三次不认主

⁵⁴他们拿住耶稣，把他带到大祭司的宅里。彼得远远地跟着。Then they seized Jesus, led Him away, and took Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.

⁵⁵他们在院子里生了火，一同坐着；彼得也坐在他们中间。When those present had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.

⁵⁶有一个使女看见彼得坐在火光里，就定睛看他，说：“这个人素来也是同那人一伙的。”A servant girl saw him seated in the firelight and looked intently at him. “This man also was with Him,” she said.

⁵⁷彼得却不承认，说：“女子，我不认得他。”But Peter denied it. “Woman, I do not know Him,” he said.

⁵⁸过了不多的时候，又有一个人看见他，说：“你也是他们一党的。”彼得说：“你这个人！我不是。”A short time later, someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”

⁵⁹约过了一小时，又有一个人极力地说：“他实在是同那人一伙的，因为他也是加利利人。”About an hour later, another man insisted, “Certainly this man was with Him, for he too is a Galilean.”

⁶⁰彼得说：“你这个人！我不晓得你说的是什么！”正说话之间，鸡就叫了。“Man, I do not know what you are talking about,” Peter replied. And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.

⁶¹主转过身来看彼得，彼得便想起主对他所说的话：“今日鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word that the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”

⁶²他就出去痛哭。And he went outside and wept bitterly.

看守的人戏弄耶稣

⁶³看守耶稣的人戏弄他，打他，The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him.

⁶⁴又蒙着他的眼，问他说：“你是先知，告诉我们打你的是谁？”They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”

⁶⁵他们还用许多别的话辱骂他。And they said many other blasphemous things against Him.

公会审问耶稣

⁶⁶天一亮，民间的众长老连祭司长带文士都聚会，把耶稣带到他们的公会里，At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their Sanhedrin and said,

⁶⁷说：“你若是基督，就告诉我们。”耶稣说：“我若告诉你们，你们也不信；“If You are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe.

⁶⁸我若问你们，你们也不回答。And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.

⁶⁹从今以后，人子要坐在　神权能的右边。”But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

⁷⁰他们都说：“这样，你是　神的儿子吗？”耶稣说：“你们所说的是。”So they all asked, “Are You then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”

⁷¹他们说：“何必再用见证呢？他亲口所说的，我们都亲自听见了。”“Why do we need any more testimony?” they declared. “We have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
