击败希实本王西宏

²⁴你们起来前往，过亚嫩谷；我已将亚摩利人希实本王西宏和他的地交在你手中，你要与他争战，得他的地为业。“Arise, set out, and cross the Arnon Valley. See, I have delivered into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle.

²⁵从今日起，我要使天下万民听见你的名声都惊恐惧怕，且因你发颤伤恸。”This very day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon all the nations under heaven. They will hear the reports of you and tremble in anguish because of you.”

²⁶“我从基底莫的旷野差遣使者去见希实本王西宏，用和睦的话说：So from the Wilderness of Kedemoth I sent messengers with an offer of peace to Sihon king of Heshbon, saying,

²⁷‘求你容我从你的地经过，只走大道，不偏左右。“Let us pass through your land; we will stay on the main road. We will not turn to the right or to the left.

²⁸你可以卖粮给我吃，也可以卖水给我喝，只要容我步行过去，You can sell us food to eat and water to drink in exchange for silver. Only let us pass through on foot,

²⁹就如住西珥的以扫子孙和住亚珥的摩押人待我一样，等我过了约旦河，好进入耶和华—我们　神所赐给我们的地。’just as the descendants of Esau who live in Seir and the Moabites who live in Ar did for us, until we cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD our God is giving us.”

³⁰但希实本王西宏不容我们从他那里经过；因为耶和华—你的　神使他心中刚硬，性情顽梗，为要将他交在你手中，像今日一样。But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass through, for the LORD your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate, that He might deliver him into your hand, as is the case this day.

³¹耶和华对我说：‘从此起首，我要将西宏和他的地交给你；你要得他的地为业。’Then the LORD said to me, “See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his land over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land.”

³²那时，西宏和他的众民出来攻击我们，在雅杂与我们交战。So Sihon and his whole army came out for battle against us at Jahaz.

³³耶和华—我们的　神将他交给我们，我们就把他和他的儿子，并他的众民，都击杀了。And the LORD our God delivered him over to us, and we defeated him and his sons and his whole army.

³⁴我们夺了他的一切城邑，将有人烟的各城，连女人带孩子，尽都毁灭，没有留下一个。At that time we captured all his cities and devoted to destruction the people of every city, including women and children. We left no survivors.

³⁵惟有牲畜和所夺的各城，并其中的财物，都取为自己的掠物。We carried off for ourselves only the livestock and the plunder from the cities we captured.

³⁶从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥和谷中的城，直到基列，耶和华—我们的　神都交给我们了，没有一座城高得使我们不能攻取的。From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Valley, along with the city in the valley, even as far as Gilead, not one city had walls too high for us. The LORD our God gave us all of them.

³⁷惟有亚扪人之地，凡靠近雅博河的地，并山地的城邑，与耶和华—我们　神所禁止我们去的地方，都没有挨近。”But you did not go near the land of the Ammonites, or the land along the banks of the Jabbok River, or the cities of the hill country, or any place that the LORD our God had forbidden.

击败巴珊王噩

¹“以后，我们转回，向巴珊去。巴珊王噩和他的众民都出来，在以得来与我们交战。Then we turned and went up the road to Bashan, and Og king of Bashan and his whole army came out to meet us in battle at Edrei.

²耶和华对我说：‘不要怕他！因我已将他和他的众民，并他的地，都交在你手中；你要待他像从前待住希实本的亚摩利王西宏一样。’But the LORD said to me, “Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, along with all his people and his land. Do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.”

³于是耶和华—我们的　神也将巴珊王噩和他的众民都交在我们手中；我们杀了他们，没有留下一个。So the LORD our God also delivered Og king of Bashan and his whole army into our hands. We struck them down until no survivor was left.

⁴那时，我们夺了他所有的城，共有六十座，没有一座城不被我们所夺。这为亚珥歌伯的全境，就是巴珊地噩王的国。At that time we captured all sixty of his cities. There was not a single city we failed to take—the entire region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

⁵这些城都有坚固的高墙，有门有闩。此外还有许多无城墙的乡村。All these cities were fortified with high walls and gates and bars, and there were many more unwalled villages.

⁶我们将这些都毁灭了，像从前待希实本王西宏一样，把有人烟的各城，连女人带孩子，尽都毁灭；We devoted them to destruction, as we had done to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children of every city.

⁷惟有一切牲畜和城中的财物都取为自己的掠物。But all the livestock and plunder of the cities we carried off for ourselves.

⁸那时，我们从约旦河东两个亚摩利王的手将亚嫩谷直到黑门山之地夺过来At that time we took from the two kings of the Amorites the land across the Jordan, from the Arnon Valley as far as Mount Hermon—

⁹（这黑门山，西顿人称为西连，亚摩利人称为示尼珥），which the Sidonians call Sirion but the Amorites call Senir—

¹⁰就是夺了平原的各城、基列全地、巴珊全地，直到撒迦和以得来，都是巴珊王噩国内的城邑。all the cities of the plateau, all of Gilead, and all of Bashan as far as the cities of Salecah and Edrei in the kingdom of Og.

¹¹（利乏音人所剩下的只有巴珊王噩。他的床是铁的，长九肘，宽四肘，都是以人肘为度。现今岂不是在亚扪人的拉巴吗？）”(For only Og king of Bashan had remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. His bed of iron, nine cubits long and four cubits wide, is still in Rabbah of the Ammonites.)

分配约旦河东之地

¹²“那时，我们得了这地。从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥起，我将基列山地的一半，并其中的城邑，都给了流便人和迦得人。So at that time we took possession of this land. To the Reubenites and Gadites I gave the land beyond Aroer along the Arnon Valley, and half the hill country of Gilead, along with its cities.

¹³其余的基列地和巴珊全地，就是噩王的国，我给了玛拿西半支派。亚珥歌伯全地乃是巴珊全地；这叫做利乏音人之地。To the half-tribe of Manasseh I gave the rest of Gilead and all of Bashan, the kingdom of Og. (The entire region of Argob, the whole territory of Bashan, used to be called the land of the Rephaim.)

¹⁴玛拿西的子孙睚珥占了亚珥歌伯全境，直到基述人和玛迦人的交界，就按自己的名称这巴珊地为哈倭特·睚珥，直到今日。Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, took the whole region of Argob as far as the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites. He renamed Bashan after himself, Havvoth-jair, by which it is called to this day.

¹⁵我又将基列给了玛吉。To Machir I gave Gilead,

¹⁶从基列到亚嫩谷，以谷中为界，直到亚扪人交界的雅博河，我给了流便人和迦得人，and to the Reubenites and Gadites I gave the territory from Gilead to the Arnon Valley (the middle of the valley was the border) and up to the Jabbok River, the border of the Ammonites.

¹⁷又将亚拉巴和靠近约旦河之地，从基尼烈直到亚拉巴海，就是盐海，并毗斯迦山根东边之地，都给了他们。The Jordan River in the Arabah bordered it from Chinnereth to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea) with the slopes of Pisgah to the east.

河东支派要先过河争战

¹⁸“那时，我吩咐你们说：‘耶和华—你们的　神已将这地赐给你们为业；你们所有的勇士都要带着兵器，在你们的弟兄以色列人前面过去。At that time I commanded you: “The LORD your God has given you this land to possess. All your men of valor are to cross over, armed for battle, ahead of your brothers, the Israelites.

¹⁹但你们的妻子、孩子、牲畜（我知道你们有许多的牲畜）可以住在我所赐给你们的各城里。But your wives, your children, and your livestock—I know that you have much livestock—may remain in the cities I have given you,

²⁰等到你们弟兄在约旦河那边，也得耶和华—你们　神所赐给他们的地，又使他们得享平安，与你们一样，你们才可以回到我所赐给你们为业之地。’until the LORD gives rest to your brothers as He has to you, and they too have taken possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving them across the Jordan. Then each of you may return to the possession I have given you.”

²¹那时我吩咐约书亚说：‘你亲眼看见了耶和华—你　神向这二王所行的；耶和华也必向你所要去的各国照样行。And at that time I commanded Joshua: “Your own eyes have seen all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings. The LORD will do the same to all the kingdoms you are about to enter.

²²你不要怕他们，因那为你争战的是耶和华—你的　神。’”Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God Himself will fight for you.”

摩西求进美地，神不应允

²³“那时，我恳求耶和华说：At that time I also pleaded with the LORD:

²⁴‘主耶和华啊，你已将你的大力大能显给仆人看。在天上，在地下，有什么　神能像你行事、像你有大能的作为呢？“O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your greatness and power to Your servant. For what god in heaven or on earth can perform such works and mighty acts as Yours?

²⁵求你容我过去，看约旦河那边的美地，就是那佳美的山地和黎巴嫩。’Please let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan—that pleasant hill country as well as Lebanon!”

²⁶但耶和华因你们的缘故向我发怒，不应允我，对我说：‘罢了！你不要向我再提这事。But the LORD was angry with me on account of you, and He would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the LORD said to me. “Do not speak to Me again about this matter.

²⁷你且上毗斯迦山顶去，向东、西、南、北举目观望，因为你必不能过这约旦河。Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west and north and south and east. See the land with your own eyes, for you will not cross this Jordan.

²⁸你却要嘱咐约书亚，勉励他，使他胆壮；因为他必在这百姓前面过去，使他们承受你所要观看之地。’But commission Joshua, encourage him, and strengthen him, for he will cross over ahead of the people and enable them to inherit the land that you will see.”

²⁹于是我们住在伯·毗珥对面的谷中。”So we stayed in the valley opposite Beth-peor.

不可加添，也不可删减

¹“以色列人哪，现在我所教训你们的律例典章，你们要听从遵行，好叫你们存活，得以进入耶和华—你们列祖之　神所赐给你们的地，承受为业。Hear now, O Israel, the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live and may enter and take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you.

²所吩咐你们的话，你们不可加添，也不可删减，好叫你们遵守我所吩咐的，就是耶和华—你们　神的命令。You must not add to or subtract from what I command you, so that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God that I am giving you.

³耶和华因巴力·毗珥的事所行的，你们亲眼看见了。凡随从巴力·毗珥的人，耶和华—你们的　神都从你们中间除灭了。Your eyes have seen what the LORD did at Baal-peor, for the LORD your God destroyed from among you all who followed Baal of Peor.

⁴惟有你们专靠耶和华—你们　神的人，今日全都存活。But you who held fast to the LORD your God are alive to this day, every one of you.

⁵我照着耶和华—我　神所吩咐的将律例典章教训你们，使你们在所要进去得为业的地上遵行。See, I have taught you statutes and ordinances just as the LORD my God has commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land that you are about to enter and possess.

⁶所以你们要谨守遵行；这就是你们在万民眼前的智慧、聪明。他们听见这一切律例，必说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明！’Observe them carefully, for this will show your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the peoples, who will hear of all these statutes and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

⁷哪一大国的人有　神与他们相近，像耶和华—我们的　神、在我们求告他的时候与我们相近呢？For what nation is great enough to have a god as near to them as the LORD our God is to us whenever we call on Him?

⁸又哪一大国有这样公义的律例典章、像我今日在你们面前所陈明的这一切律法呢？And what nation is great enough to have righteous statutes and ordinances like this entire law I set before you today?

记得何烈山的事，传给子孙

⁹“你只要谨慎，殷勤保守你的心灵，免得忘记你亲眼所看见的事，又免得你一生、这事离开你的心；总要传给你的子子孙孙。Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen, and so that they do not slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and grandchildren.

¹⁰你在何烈山站在耶和华—你　神面前的那日，耶和华对我说：‘你为我招聚百姓，我要叫他们听见我的话，使他们存活在世的日子，可以学习敬畏我，又可以教训儿女这样行。’The day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, the LORD said to me, “Gather the people before Me to hear My words, so that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach them to their children.”

¹¹那时你们近前来，站在山下；山上有火焰冲天，并有昏黑、密云、幽暗。You came near and stood at the base of the mountain, a mountain blazing with fire to the heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness.

¹²耶和华从火焰中对你们说话，你们只听见声音，却没有看见形象。And the LORD spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of the words but saw no form; there was only a voice.

¹³他将所吩咐你们当守的约指示你们，就是十条诫，并将这诫写在两块石版上。He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to follow—the Ten Commandments that He wrote on two tablets of stone.

¹⁴那时耶和华又吩咐我将律例典章教训你们，使你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行。”At that time the LORD commanded me to teach you the statutes and ordinances you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.

不可雕刻任何偶像

¹⁵“所以，你们要分外谨慎；因为耶和华在何烈山、从火中对你们说话的那日，你们没有看见什么形象。So since you saw no form of any kind on the day the LORD spoke to you out of the fire at Horeb, be careful

¹⁶惟恐你们败坏自己，雕刻偶像，仿佛什么男像女像，that you do not act corruptly and make an idol for yourselves of any form or shape, whether in the likeness of a male or female,

¹⁷或地上走兽的像，或空中飞鸟的像，of any beast that is on the earth or bird that flies in the air,

¹⁸或地上爬物的像，或地底下水中鱼的像。or of any creature that crawls on the ground or fish that is in the waters below.

¹⁹又恐怕你向天举目观看，见耶和华—你的　神为天下万民所摆列的日月星，就是天上的万象，自己便被勾引敬拜事奉它。When you look to the heavens and see the sun and moon and stars—all the host of heaven—do not be enticed to bow down and worship what the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

²⁰耶和华将你们从埃及领出来，脱离铁炉，要特作自己产业的子民，像今日一样。Yet the LORD has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of His inheritance, as you are today.

²¹耶和华又因你们的缘故向我发怒，起誓必不容我过约旦河，也不容我进入耶和华—你　神所赐你为业的那美地。The LORD, however, was angry with me on account of you, and He swore that I would not cross the Jordan to enter the good land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.

²²我只得死在这地，不能过约旦河；但你们必过去得那美地。For I will not be crossing the Jordan, because I must die in this land. But you shall cross over and take possession of that good land.

²³你们要谨慎，免得忘记耶和华—你们　神与你们所立的约，为自己雕刻偶像，就是耶和华—你　神所禁止你做的偶像；Be careful that you do not forget the covenant of the LORD your God that He made with you; do not make an idol for yourselves in the form of anything He has forbidden you.

²⁴因为耶和华—你的　神乃是烈火，是忌邪的　神。For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

被分散后，寻求神必寻见

²⁵“你们在那地住久了，生子生孙，就雕刻偶像，仿佛什么形象，败坏自己，行耶和华—你　神眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。After you have children and grandchildren and you have been in the land a long time, if you then act corruptly and make an idol of any form—doing evil in the sight of the LORD your God and provoking Him to anger—

²⁶我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们必在过约旦河得为业的地上速速灭尽！你们不能在那地上长久，必尽行除灭。I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live long upon it, but will be utterly destroyed.

²⁷耶和华必使你们分散在万民中；在他所领你们到的万国里，你们剩下的人数稀少。Then the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you.

²⁸在那里，你们必事奉人手所造的神，就是用木石造成、不能看、不能听、不能吃、不能闻的神。And there you will serve man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.

²⁹但你们在那里必寻求耶和华—你的　神。你尽心尽性寻求他的时候，就必寻见。But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

³⁰日后你遭遇一切患难的时候，你必归回耶和华—你的　神，听从他的话。When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.

³¹耶和华—你　神原是有怜悯的　神；他总不撇下你，不灭绝你，也不忘记他起誓与你列祖所立的约。For the LORD your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers, which He swore to them by oath.

惟有耶和华是神

^32–33“你且考察在你以前的世代，自　神造人在世以来，从天这边到天那边，曾有何民听见　神在火中说话的声音，像你听见还能存活呢？这样的大事何曾有、何曾听见呢？Indeed, ask now from one end of the heavens to the other about the days that long preceded you, from the day that God created man on earth: Has anything as great as this ever happened or been reported? Has a people ever heard the voice of God speaking out of the fire, as you have, and lived?

³⁴神何曾从别的国中将一国的人民领出来，用试验、神迹、奇事、争战、大能的手，和伸出来的膀臂，并大可畏的事，像耶和华—你们的　神在埃及，在你们眼前为你们所行的一切事呢？Or has any god tried to take as his own a nation out of another nation—by trials, signs, wonders, and war, by a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors—as the LORD your God did for you in Egypt, before your eyes?

³⁵这是显给你看，要使你知道，惟有耶和华—他是　神，除他以外，再无别神。You were shown these things so that you would know that the LORD is God; there is no other besides Him.

³⁶他从天上使你听见他的声音，为要教训你，又在地上使你看见他的烈火，并且听见他从火中所说的话。He let you hear His voice from heaven to discipline you, and on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the fire.

³⁷因他爱你的列祖，所以拣选他们的后裔，用大能亲自领你出了埃及，Because He loved your fathers, He chose their descendants after them and brought you out of Egypt by His presence and great power,

³⁸要将比你强大的国民从你面前赶出，领你进去，将他们的地赐你为业，像今日一样。to drive out before you nations greater and mightier than you, and to bring you into their land and give it to you for your inheritance, as it is this day.

³⁹所以，今日你要知道，也要记在心上，天上地下惟有耶和华他是　神，除他以外，再无别神。Know therefore this day and take to heart that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other.

⁴⁰我今日将他的律例诫命晓谕你，你要遵守，使你和你的子孙可以得福，并使你的日子在耶和华—你　神所赐的地上得以长久。”Keep His statutes and commandments, which I am giving you today, so that you and your children after you may prosper, and that you may live long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you for all time.

约旦河东的三座逃城

⁴¹“那时，摩西在约旦河东，向日出之地，分定三座城，Then Moses set aside three cities across the Jordan to the east

⁴²使那素无仇恨、无心杀了人的，可以逃到这三城之中的一座城，就得存活：to which a manslayer could flee after killing his neighbor unintentionally without prior malice. To save one’s own life, he could flee to one of these cities:

⁴³为流便人分定旷野平原的比悉；为迦得人分定基列的拉末；为玛拿西人分定巴珊的哥兰。”Bezer in the wilderness on the plateau belonging to the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead belonging to the Gadites, or Golan in Bashan belonging to the Manassites.

妇女们清早来到坟墓

¹过了安息日，抹大拉的马利亚和雅各的母亲马利亚并撒罗米，买了香膏要去膏耶稣的身体。When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so they could go and anoint the body of Jesus.

²七日的第一日清早，出太阳的时候，她们来到坟墓那里，Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they went to the tomb.

³彼此说：“谁给我们把石头从墓门滚开呢？”They were asking one another, “Who will roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb?”

⁴那石头原来很大，她们抬头一看，却见石头已经滚开了。But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, even though it was extremely large.

少年人说：他已经复活了

⁵她们进了坟墓，看见一个少年人坐在右边，穿着白袍，就甚惊恐。When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

⁶那少年人对她们说：“不要惊恐！你们寻找那钉十字架的拿撒勒人耶稣，他已经复活了，不在这里。请看安放他的地方。But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they put Him.

⁷你们可以去告诉他的门徒和彼得，说：‘他在你们以先往加利利去。在那里你们要见他，正如他从前所告诉你们的。’”But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.’”

⁸她们就出来，从坟墓那里逃跑，又发抖又惊奇，什么也不告诉人，因为她们害怕。So the women left the tomb and ran away, trembling and bewildered. And in their fear they did not say a word to anyone.

向抹大拉的马利亚显现

⁹在七日的第一日清早，耶稣复活了，就先向抹大拉的马利亚显现。（耶稣从她身上曾赶出七个鬼。）Early on the first day of the week, after Jesus had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had driven out seven demons.

¹⁰她去告诉那向来跟随耶稣的人；那时他们正哀恸哭泣。She went and told those who had been with Him, who were mourning and weeping.

¹¹他们听见耶稣活了，被马利亚看见，却是不信。And when they heard that Jesus was alive and she had seen Him, they did not believe it.

向两个门徒显现

¹²这事以后，门徒中间有两个人往乡下去。走路的时候，耶稣变了形象，向他们显现。After this, Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them as they walked along in the country.

¹³他们就去告诉其余的门徒；其余的门徒也是不信。And they went back and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

差遣十一个门徒

¹⁴后来，十一个门徒坐席的时候，耶稣向他们显现，责备他们不信，心里刚硬，因为他们不信那些在他复活以后看见他的人。Later, as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the Eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

¹⁵他又对他们说：“你们往普天下去，传福音给万民（万民：原文是凡受造的）听。And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

¹⁶信而受洗的，必然得救；不信的，必被定罪。Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

¹⁷信的人必有神迹随着他们，就是奉我的名赶鬼；说新方言；And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

¹⁸手能拿蛇；若喝了什么毒物，也必不受害；手按病人，病人就必好了。”they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”

耶稣升天，门徒出去传福音

¹⁹主耶稣和他们说完了话，后来被接到天上，坐在　神的右边。After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

²⁰门徒出去，到处宣传福音。主和他们同工，用神迹随着，证实所传的道。阿们！And they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked through them, confirming His word by the signs that accompanied it.
