约瑟和弟兄相认

¹约瑟在左右站着的人面前情不自禁，吩咐一声说：“人都要离开我出去！”约瑟和弟兄们相认的时候并没有一人站在他面前。Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, “Send everyone away from me!” So none of them were with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.

²他就放声大哭；埃及人和法老家中的人都听见了。But he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh’s household soon heard of it.

³约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我是约瑟。我的父亲还在吗？”他弟兄不能回答，因为在他面前都惊惶。Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?” But they were unable to answer him, because they were terrified in his presence.

是神差我来保全生命

⁴约瑟又对他弟兄们说：“请你们近前来。”他们就近前来。他说：“我是你们的兄弟约瑟，就是你们所卖到埃及的。Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near me.” And they did so. “I am Joseph, your brother,” he said, “the one you sold into Egypt!

⁵现在，不要因为把我卖到这里自忧自恨。这是　神差我在你们以先来，为要保全生命。And now, do not be distressed or angry with yourselves that you sold me into this place, because it was to save lives that God sent me before you.

⁶现在这地的饥荒已经二年了，还有五年不能耕种，不能收成。For the famine has covered the land these two years, and there will be five more years without plowing or harvesting.

⁷神差我在你们以先来，为要给你们存留余种在世上，又要大施拯救，保全你们的生命。God sent me before you to preserve you as a remnant on the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

⁸这样看来，差我到这里来的不是你们，乃是　神。他又使我如法老的父，作他全家的主，并埃及全地的宰相。Therefore it was not you who sent me here, but God, who has made me a father to Pharaoh—lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

请父亲下到埃及

⁹你们要赶紧上到我父亲那里，对他说：‘你儿子约瑟这样说：　神使我作全埃及的主，请你下到我这里来，不要耽延。Now return quickly to my father and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me without delay.

¹⁰你和你的儿子孙子，连牛群羊群，并一切所有的，都可以住在歌珊地，与我相近。You shall settle in the land of Goshen and be near me—you and your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and everything you own.

¹¹我要在那里奉养你；因为还有五年的饥荒，免得你和你的眷属，并一切所有的，都败落了。’And there I will provide for you, because there will be five more years of famine. Otherwise, you and your household and everything you own will come to destitution.’

¹²况且你们的眼和我兄弟便雅悯的眼都看见是我亲口对你们说话。Behold! You and my brother Benjamin can see that I, Joseph, am the one speaking with you.

¹³你们也要将我在埃及一切的荣耀和你们所看见的事都告诉我父亲，又要赶紧地将我父亲搬到我这里来。”Tell my father about all my splendor in Egypt and everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly.”

¹⁴于是约瑟伏在他兄弟便雅悯的颈项上哭，便雅悯也在他的颈项上哭。Then Joseph threw his arms around his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin wept as they embraced.

¹⁵他又与众弟兄亲嘴，抱着他们哭，随后他弟兄们就和他说话。Joseph kissed each of his brothers as he wept over them. And afterward his brothers talked with him.

法老欢迎雅各全家

¹⁶这风声传到法老的宫里，说：“约瑟的弟兄们来了。”法老和他的臣仆都很喜欢。When the news reached Pharaoh’s house that Joseph’s brothers had come, Pharaoh and his servants were pleased.

¹⁷法老对约瑟说：“你吩咐你的弟兄们说：‘你们要这样行：把驮子抬在牲口上，起身往迦南地去。Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do as follows: Load your animals and return to the land of Canaan.

¹⁸将你们的父亲和你们的眷属都搬到我这里来，我要把埃及地的美物赐给你们，你们也要吃这地肥美的出产。Then bring your father and your families and return to me. I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat from the fat of the land.’

¹⁹现在我吩咐你们要这样行：从埃及地带着车辆去，把你们的孩子和妻子，并你们的父亲都搬来。You are also directed to tell them: ‘Take wagons from the land of Egypt for your young children and your wives, and bring your father and come back.

²⁰你们眼中不要爱惜你们的家具，因为埃及全地的美物都是你们的。’”But pay no regard to your belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’”

约瑟打发弟兄回去

²¹以色列的儿子们就如此行。约瑟照着法老的吩咐给他们车辆和路上用的食物，So the sons of Israel did as they were told. Joseph gave them wagons as Pharaoh had instructed, and he also gave them provisions for their journey.

²²又给他们各人一套衣服，惟独给便雅悯三百银子，五套衣服；He gave new garments to each of them, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels of silver and five sets of clothes.

²³送给他父亲公驴十匹，驮着埃及的美物，母驴十匹，驮着粮食与饼和菜，为他父亲路上用。And he sent to his father the following: ten donkeys loaded with the best of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provisions for his father’s journey.

²⁴于是约瑟打发他弟兄们回去，又对他们说：“你们不要在路上相争。”Then Joseph sent his brothers on their way, and as they were leaving, he said to them, “Do not quarrel on the way!”

雅各得知约瑟还活着

²⁵他们从埃及上去，来到迦南地、他们的父亲雅各那里，So the brothers went up out of Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.

²⁶告诉他说：“约瑟还在，并且作埃及全地的宰相。”雅各心里冰凉，因为不信他们。“Joseph is still alive,” they said, “and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” But Jacob was stunned, for he did not believe them.

²⁷他们便将约瑟对他们说的一切话都告诉了他。他们父亲雅各又看见约瑟打发来接他的车辆，心就苏醒了。However, when they relayed all that Joseph had told them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob was revived.

²⁸以色列说：“罢了！罢了！我的儿子约瑟还在，趁我未死以先，我要去见他一面。”“Enough!” declared Israel. “My son Joseph is still alive! I will go to see him before I die.”

神在别是巴向雅各显现

¹以色列带着一切所有的，起身来到别是巴，就献祭给他父亲以撒的　神。So Israel set out with all that he had, and when he came to Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

²夜间，　神在异象中对以色列说：“雅各！雅各！”他说：“我在这里。”And that night God spoke to Israel in a vision: “Jacob, Jacob!” He said. “Here I am,” replied Jacob.

³神说：“我是　神，就是你父亲的　神。你下埃及去不要害怕，因为我必使你在那里成为大族。“I am God,” He said, “the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

⁴我要和你同下埃及去，也必定带你上来；约瑟必给你送终。”I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will surely bring you back. And Joseph’s own hands will close your eyes.”

雅各全家下埃及

⁵雅各就从别是巴起行。以色列的儿子们使他们的父亲雅各和他们的妻子、儿女都坐在法老为雅各送来的车上。Then Jacob departed from Beersheba, and the sons of Israel took their father Jacob in the wagons Pharaoh had sent to carry him, along with their children and wives.

⁶他们又带着迦南地所得的牲畜、货财来到埃及。雅各和他的一切子孙都一同来了。They also took the livestock and possessions they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt.

⁷雅各把他的儿子、孙子、女儿、孙女，并他的子子孙孙，一同带到埃及。Jacob took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons, and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.

下埃及的以色列人名单

⁸来到埃及的以色列人名字记在下面。雅各和他的儿孙：雅各的长子是流便。Now these are the names of the sons of Israel (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.

⁹流便的儿子是哈诺、法路、希斯伦、迦米。The sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

¹⁰西缅的儿子是耶母利、雅悯、阿辖、雅斤、琐辖，还有迦南女子所生的扫罗。The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.

¹¹利未的儿子是革顺、哥辖、米拉利。The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

²⁷还有约瑟在埃及所生的两个儿子。雅各家来到埃及的共有七十人。And with the two sons who had been born to Joseph in Egypt, the members of Jacob’s family who went to Egypt were seventy in all.

雅各和约瑟重逢

²⁸雅各打发犹大先去见约瑟，请派人引路往歌珊去；于是他们来到歌珊地。Now Jacob had sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When Jacob’s family arrived in the land of Goshen,

²⁹约瑟套车往歌珊去，迎接他父亲以色列，及至见了面，就伏在父亲的颈项上，哭了许久。Joseph prepared his chariot and went there to meet his father Israel. Joseph presented himself to him, embraced him, and wept profusely.

³⁰以色列对约瑟说：“我既得见你的面，知道你还在，就是死我也甘心。”Then Israel said to Joseph, “Finally I can die, now that I have seen your face and know that you are still alive!”

约瑟教弟兄如何回答法老

³¹约瑟对他的弟兄和他父的全家说：“我要上去告诉法老，对他说：‘我的弟兄和我父的全家从前在迦南地，现今都到我这里来了。Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and inform Pharaoh: ‘My brothers and my father’s household from the land of Canaan have come to me.

³²他们本是牧羊的人，以养牲畜为业；他们把羊群牛群和一切所有的都带来了。’The men are shepherds; they raise livestock, and they have brought their flocks and herds and all that they own.’

³³等法老召你们的时候，问你们说：‘你们以何事为业？’When Pharaoh summons you and asks, ‘What is your occupation?’

³⁴你们要说：‘你的仆人，从幼年直到如今，都以养牲畜为业，连我们的祖宗也都以此为业。’这样，你们可以住在歌珊地，因为凡牧羊的都被埃及人所厌恶。”you are to say, ‘Your servants have raised livestock ever since our youth—both we and our fathers.’ Then you will be allowed to settle in the land of Goshen, since all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians.”

耶稣怜悯众人

¹⁴耶稣出来，见有许多的人，就怜悯他们，治好了他们的病人。When He stepped ashore and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.

五饼二鱼喂饱五千人

¹⁵天将晚的时候，门徒进前来，说：“这是野地，时候已经过了，请叫众人散开，他们好往村子里去，自己买吃的。”When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

¹⁶耶稣说：“不用他们去，你们给他们吃吧！”“They do not need to go away,” Jesus replied. “You give them something to eat.”

¹⁷门徒说：“我们这里只有五个饼，两条鱼。”“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

¹⁸耶稣说：“拿过来给我。”“Bring them here to Me,” Jesus said.

¹⁹于是吩咐众人坐在草地上，就拿着这五个饼，两条鱼，望着天祝福，擘开饼，递给门徒，门徒又递给众人。And He directed the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He spoke a blessing. Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

²⁰他们都吃，并且吃饱了；把剩下的零碎收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

²¹吃的人，除了妇女孩子，约有五千。About five thousand men were fed, besides women and children.

耶稣独自上山祷告

²²耶稣随即催门徒上船，先渡到那边去，等他叫众人散开。Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds.

²³散了众人以后，他就独自上山去祷告。到了晚上，只有他一人在那里。After He had dismissed them, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone,

耶稣在海面上走

²⁴那时船在海中，因风不顺，被浪摇撼。but the boat was already far from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

²⁵夜里四更天，耶稣在海面上走，往门徒那里去。During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them, walking on the sea.

²⁶门徒看见他在海面上走，就惊慌了，说：“是个鬼怪！”便害怕，喊叫起来。When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.

²⁷耶稣连忙对他们说：“你们放心，是我，不要怕！”But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

彼得在水面上走

²⁸彼得说：“主，如果是你，请叫我从水面上走到你那里去。”“Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.”

³³在船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是　神的儿子了。”Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”

在革尼撒勒治病

³⁴他们过了海，来到革尼撒勒地方。When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.

³⁵那里的人一认出是耶稣，就打发人到周围地方去，把所有的病人带到他那里，And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding region. People brought all the sick to Him

³⁶只求耶稣准他们摸他的衣裳䍁子；摸着的人就都好了。and begged Him just to let them touch the fringe of His cloak. And all who touched Him were healed.
