从闪到他拉的家谱

¹⁰闪的后代记在下面。洪水以后二年，闪一百岁生了亚法撒。This is the account of Shem. Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father of Arphaxad.

¹¹闪生亚法撒之后又活了五百年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other sons and daughters.

¹²亚法撒活到三十五岁，生了沙拉。When Arphaxad was 35 years old, he became the father of Shelah.

¹³亚法撒生沙拉之后又活了四百零三年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Shelah, Arphaxad lived 403 years and had other sons and daughters.

¹⁴沙拉活到三十岁，生了希伯。When Shelah was 30 years old, he became the father of Eber.

¹⁵沙拉生希伯之后又活了四百零三年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Eber, Shelah lived 403 years and had other sons and daughters.

¹⁶希伯活到三十四岁，生了法勒。When Eber was 34 years old, he became the father of Peleg.

¹⁷希伯生法勒之后又活了四百三十年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Peleg, Eber lived 430 years and had other sons and daughters.

¹⁸法勒活到三十岁，生了拉吴。When Peleg was 30 years old, he became the father of Reu.

¹⁹法勒生拉吴之后又活了二百零九年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Reu, Peleg lived 209 years and had other sons and daughters.

²⁰拉吴活到三十二岁，生了西鹿。When Reu was 32 years old, he became the father of Serug.

²¹拉吴生西鹿之后又活了二百零七年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Serug, Reu lived 207 years and had other sons and daughters.

²²西鹿活到三十岁，生了拿鹤。When Serug was 30 years old, he became the father of Nahor.

²³西鹿生拿鹤之后又活了二百年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Nahor, Serug lived 200 years and had other sons and daughters.

²⁴拿鹤活到二十九岁，生了他拉。When Nahor was 29 years old, he became the father of Terah.

²⁵拿鹤生他拉之后又活了一百一十九年，并且生儿养女。And after he had become the father of Terah, Nahor lived 119 years and had other sons and daughters.

²⁶他拉活到七十岁，生了亚伯兰、拿鹤、哈兰。When Terah was 70 years old, he became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

²⁷他拉的后代记在下面。他拉生亚伯兰、拿鹤、哈兰；哈兰生罗得。This is the account of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.

²⁸哈兰死在他的本地迦勒底的吾珥，在他父亲他拉之先。During his father Terah’s lifetime, Haran died in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans.

²⁹亚伯兰、拿鹤各娶了妻：亚伯兰的妻子名叫撒莱；拿鹤的妻子名叫密迦，是哈兰的女儿；哈兰是密迦和亦迦的父亲。And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves. Abram’s wife was named Sarai, and Nahor’s wife was named Milcah; she was the daughter of Haran, who was the father of both Milcah and Iscah.

³⁰撒莱不生育，没有孩子。But Sarai was barren; she had no children.

³¹他拉带着他儿子亚伯兰和他孙子哈兰的儿子罗得，并他儿妇亚伯兰的妻子撒莱，出了迦勒底的吾珥，要往迦南地去；他们走到哈兰，就住在那里。And Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai the wife of Abram, and they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans for the land of Canaan. But when they arrived in Haran, they settled there.

³²他拉共活了二百零五岁，就死在哈兰。Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Haran.

神呼召亚伯兰

¹耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你要离开本地、本族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you.

²我必叫你成为大国。我必赐福给你，叫你的名为大；你也要叫别人得福。I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.

亚伯兰到了迦南

⁴亚伯兰就照着耶和华的吩咐去了；罗得也和他同去。亚伯兰出哈兰的时候年七十五岁。So Abram departed, as the LORD had directed him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

⁶亚伯兰经过那地，到了示剑地方、摩利橡树那里。那时迦南人住在那地。Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the Oak of Moreh at Shechem. And at that time the Canaanites were in the land.

⁷耶和华向亚伯兰显现，说：“我要把这地赐给你的后裔。”亚伯兰就在那里为向他显现的耶和华筑了一座坛。Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your offspring.” So Abram built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.

⁸从那里他又迁到伯特利东边的山，支搭帐棚；西边是伯特利，东边是艾。他在那里又为耶和华筑了一座坛，求告耶和华的名。From there Abram moved on to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. There he built an altar to the LORD, and he called on the name of the LORD.

⁹后来亚伯兰又渐渐迁往南地去。And Abram journeyed on toward the Negev.

下埃及，谎称撒莱是妹子

¹⁰那地遭遇饥荒。因饥荒甚大，亚伯兰就下埃及去，要在那里暂居。Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe.

¹¹将近埃及，就对他妻子撒莱说：“我知道你是容貌俊美的妇人。As he was about to enter Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “Look, I know that you are a beautiful woman,

¹²埃及人看见你必说：‘这是他的妻子’，他们就要杀我，却叫你存活。and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife.’ Then they will kill me but will let you live.

¹³求你说，你是我的妹子，使我因你得平安，我的命也因你存活。”Please say you are my sister, so that I will be treated well for your sake, and on account of you my life will be spared.”

¹⁴及至亚伯兰到了埃及，埃及人看见那妇人极其美貌。So when Abram entered Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.

¹⁵法老的臣宰看见了她，就在法老面前夸奖她。那妇人就被带进法老的宫去。When Pharaoh’s officials saw Sarai, they commended her to him, and she was taken into the palace of Pharaoh.

¹⁶法老因这妇人就厚待亚伯兰，亚伯兰得了许多牛、羊、骆驼、公驴、母驴、仆婢。He treated Abram well on her account, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, menservants and maidservants, and camels.

¹⁷耶和华因亚伯兰妻子撒莱的缘故，降大灾与法老和他的全家。The LORD, however, afflicted Pharaoh and his household with severe plagues because of Abram’s wife Sarai.

¹⁸法老就召了亚伯兰来，说：“你这向我做的是什么事呢？为什么没有告诉我她是你的妻子？So Pharaoh summoned Abram and asked, “What have you done to me? Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?

¹⁹为什么说她是你的妹子，以致我把她取来要作我的妻子？现在你的妻子在这里，可以带她走吧。”Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her as my wife? Now then, here is your wife. Take her and go!”

²⁰于是法老吩咐人将亚伯兰和他妻子，并他所有的都送走了。Then Pharaoh gave his men orders concerning Abram, and they sent him away with his wife and all his possessions.

从埃及回到伯特利

¹亚伯兰带着他的妻子与罗得，并一切所有的，都从埃及上南地去。So Abram went up out of Egypt into the Negev—he and his wife and all his possessions—and Lot was with him.

²亚伯兰的金、银、牲畜极多。And Abram had become extremely wealthy in livestock and silver and gold.

³他从南地渐渐往伯特利去，到了伯特利和艾的中间，就是从前支搭帐棚的地方，From the Negev he journeyed from place to place toward Bethel, until he came to the place between Bethel and Ai where his tent had formerly been pitched,

⁴也是他起先筑坛的地方；他又在那里求告耶和华的名。to the site where he had built the altar. And there Abram called on the name of the LORD.

与罗得分开

⁵与亚伯兰同行的罗得也有牛群、羊群、帐棚。Now Lot, who was traveling with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.

⁶那地容不下他们；因为他们的财物甚多，使他们不能同居。But the land was unable to support both of them while they stayed together, for they had so many possessions that they were unable to coexist.

⁷当时，迦南人与比利洗人在那地居住。亚伯兰的牧人和罗得的牧人相争。And there was discord between the herdsmen of Abram and the herdsmen of Lot. At that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites were also living in the land.

⁸亚伯兰就对罗得说：“你我不可相争，你的牧人和我的牧人也不可相争，因为我们是骨肉（原文是弟兄）。So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no contention between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen. After all, we are kinsmen.

⁹遍地不都在你眼前吗？请你离开我：你向左，我就向右；你向右，我就向左。”Is not the whole land before you? Now separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, I will go to the right; if you go to the right, I will go to the left.”

¹⁰罗得举目看见约旦河的全平原，直到琐珥，都是滋润的，那地在耶和华未灭所多玛、蛾摩拉以先如同耶和华的园子，也像埃及地。And Lot looked out and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan, all the way to Zoar, was well watered like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)

¹¹于是罗得选择约旦河的全平原，往东迁移；他们就彼此分离了。So Lot chose the whole plain of the Jordan for himself and set out toward the east. And Abram and Lot parted company.

¹²亚伯兰住在迦南地，罗得住在平原的城邑，渐渐挪移帐棚，直到所多玛。Abram lived in the land of Canaan, but Lot settled in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

¹³所多玛人在耶和华面前罪大恶极。But the men of Sodom were wicked, sinning greatly against the LORD.

神应许把全地赐给他

¹⁴罗得离别亚伯兰以后，耶和华对亚伯兰说：“从你所在的地方，你举目向东西南北观看；After Lot had departed, the LORD said to Abram, “Now lift up your eyes from the place where you are, and look to the north and south and east and west,

¹⁵凡你所看见的一切地，我都要赐给你和你的后裔，直到永远。for all the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever.

¹⁶我也要使你的后裔如同地上的尘沙那样多，人若能数算地上的尘沙才能数算你的后裔。I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if one could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.

¹⁷你起来，纵横走遍这地，因为我必把这地赐给你。”Get up and walk around the land, through its length and breadth, for I will give it to you.”

¹⁸亚伯兰就搬了帐棚，来到希伯仑幔利的橡树那里居住，在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛。So Abram moved his tent and went to live near the Oaks of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD.

耶稣上山教训人

¹耶稣看见这许多的人，就上了山，既已坐下，门徒到他跟前来，When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain and sat down. His disciples came to Him,

²他就开口教训他们，说：and He began to teach them, saying:

虚心、哀恸、温柔的人有福了

³虚心的人有福了！因为天国是他们的。“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

⁴哀恸的人有福了！因为他们必得安慰。Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

⁵温柔的人有福了！因为他们必承受地土。Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

饥渴慕义、怜恤、清心的人有福了

⁶饥渴慕义的人有福了！因为他们必得饱足。Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

⁷怜恤人的人有福了！因为他们必蒙怜恤。Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

⁸清心的人有福了！因为他们必得见　神。Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

⁹使人和睦的人有福了！因为他们必称为　神的儿子。Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

为义受逼迫的人有福了

¹⁰为义受逼迫的人有福了！因为天国是他们的。Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

¹³“你们是世上的盐。盐若失了味，怎能叫它再咸呢？以后无用，不过丢在外面，被人践踏了。You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

¹⁴你们是世上的光。城造在山上是不能隐藏的。You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

¹⁵人点灯，不放在斗底下，是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
