1耶和華的默示應驗在地大馬士革─世人和以色列各支派的眼目都仰望耶和華─This is the burden of the word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and Damascus its resting place—for the eyes of men and of all the tribes of Israel are upon the LORD—
2和靠近的哈馬，並泰爾、西頓；因為這二城的人大有智慧。and also against Hamath, which borders it, as well as Tyre and Sidon, though they are very shrewd.
3泰爾為自己修築，積蓄銀子如塵沙，堆起精金如街上的泥土。Tyre has built herself a fortress; she has heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the dirt of the streets.
4主必趕出她，打敗她海上的權利；她必被火燒滅。Behold, the Lord will impoverish her and cast her wealth into the sea, and she will be consumed by fire.
5亞實基倫看見必懼怕；迦薩看見甚痛苦；以革倫因失了盼望蒙羞。迦薩必不再有君王；亞實基倫也不再有居民。Ashkelon will see and fear; Gaza will writhe in agony, as will Ekron, for her hope will wither. There will cease to be a king in Gaza, and Ashkelon will be uninhabited.
6私生子（或譯：外族人）必住在亞實突；我必除滅非利士人的驕傲。A mixed race will occupy Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
7我必除去他口中帶血之肉和牙齒內可憎之物。他必作為餘剩的人歸與我們的 神，必在猶大像族長；以革倫人必如。I will remove the blood from their mouths and the abominations from between their teeth. Then they too will become a remnant for our God; they will become like a clan in Judah, and Ekron will be like the Jebusites.
8我必在我家的四圍安營，使敵軍不得任意往來，暴虐的人也不再經過，因為我親眼看顧我的家。But I will camp around My house because of an army, because of those who march to and fro, and never again will an oppressor overrun My people, for now I keep watch with My own eyes.
9錫安的民哪，應當大大喜樂；耶路撒冷的民哪，應當歡呼。看哪，你的王來到你這裡！他是公義的，並且施行拯救，地騎著驢，就是騎著驢的。Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
10我必除滅以法蓮的戰車和耶路撒冷的戰馬；爭戰的弓也必除滅。他必向列國講和平；他的權柄必從這海管到那海，從大河管到地極。And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the bow of war will be broken. Then He will proclaim peace to the nations. His dominion will extend from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
11錫安哪，我因與你立約的血，將你中間被擄而囚的人從中釋放出來。As for you, because of the blood of My covenant, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.
12你們被囚而有指望的人都要轉回保障。我今日說明，我必加倍賜福給你們。Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; even today I declare that I will restore to you double.
13我拿猶大作上弦的弓；我拿以法蓮為張弓的箭。錫安哪，我要激發你的眾子，攻擊希臘（原文是雅完）的眾子，使你如勇士的刀。For I will bend Judah as My bow and fit it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, O Zion, against the sons of Greece. I will make you like the sword of a mighty man.
14耶和華必顯現在他們以上；他的箭必射出像閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。Then the LORD will appear over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord GOD will sound the ram’s horn and advance in the whirlwinds of the south.
15萬軍之耶和華必保護他們；他們必吞滅仇敵，踐踏彈石。他們必喝血吶喊，猶如飲酒；他們必像盛滿血的碗，又像壇的四角滿了血。The LORD of Hosts will shield them. They will destroy and conquer with slingstones; they will drink and roar as with wine. And they will be filled like sprinkling bowls, drenched like the corners of the altar.
16當那日，耶和華─他們的 神必看他的民如群羊，拯救他們；因為他們必像冠冕上的寶石，高舉在他的地以上（或譯：在他的地上發光輝）。On that day the LORD their God will save them as the flock of His people; for like jewels in a crown they will sparkle over His land.
17他的恩慈何等大！他的榮美何其盛！五穀健壯少男；新酒培養處女。How lovely they will be, and how beautiful! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine, the young women.
