2求你救我脫離作孽的人和喜愛流人血的人！Deliver me from workers of iniquity, and save me from men of bloodshed.
3因為，他們埋伏要害我的命；有能力的人聚集來攻擊我。耶和華啊，這不是為我的過犯，也不是為我的。See how they lie in wait for me. Fierce men conspire against me for no transgression or sin of my own, O LORD.
4我雖然無過，他們預備整齊，跑來攻擊我。求你興起鑒察，幫助我！For no fault of my own, they move swiftly to attack me. Arise to help me, and take notice.
5萬軍之 神─耶和華以色列的 神啊！求你興起，懲治萬邦！不要憐憫行詭詐的惡人！（細拉）O LORD God of Hosts, the God of Israel, rouse Yourself to punish all the nations; show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah
6他們晚上轉回，如狗，圍城繞行。They return in the evening, snarling like dogs and prowling around the city.
7他們口中噴吐惡言，嘴裡有刀；他們說：有誰聽見？See what they spew from their mouths—sharp words from their lips: “For who can hear us?”
8但你─耶和華必笑話他們；你要嗤笑萬邦。But You, O LORD, laugh at them; You scoff at all the nations.
9我的力量啊，我必仰望你，因為 神是我的。I will keep watch for You, O my strength, because You, O God, are my fortress.
10我的 神要以慈愛迎接我； 神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。My God of loving devotion will come to meet me; God will let me stare down my foes.
11不要殺他們，恐怕我的民忘記。主啊，你是我們的盾牌；求你用你的能力使他們四散，且降為卑。Do not kill them, or my people will forget. Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
12因他們口中的罪和嘴裡的言語，並咒罵虛謊的話，願他們在驕傲之中被纏住了。By the sins of their mouths and the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride, in the curses and lies they utter.
13求你發怒，使他們消滅，以致歸於無有，叫他們知道 神在雅各中間掌權，直到地極。（細拉）Consume them in wrath; consume them till they are no more, so it may be known to the ends of the earth that God rules over Jacob. Selah
14到了晚上，任憑他們轉回；任憑他們叫號如狗，圍城繞行。They return in the evening, snarling like dogs and prowling around the city.
15他們必走來走去，尋找食物，若不得飽就終夜在外。They scavenge for food, and growl if they are not satisfied.
16但我要歌頌你的力量，早晨要高唱你的慈愛；因為你作過我的高臺，在我急難的日子作過我的避難所。But I will sing of Your strength and proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning. For You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
17我的力量啊，我要歌頌你；因為 神是我的高臺，是賜恩與我的 神。To You, O my strength, I sing praises, for You, O God, are my fortress, my God of loving devotion.
