1（大衛在的時候，作這詩歌。）耶和華啊，我要尊崇你，因為你曾提拔我，不叫仇敵向我誇耀。A Psalm. A song for the dedication of the temple. Of David. I will exalt You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up and have not allowed my foes to rejoice over me.
2耶和華─我的 神啊，我曾呼求你，你醫治了我。O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
3耶和華啊，你曾把我的靈魂從陰間救上來，使我存活，不至於下坑。O LORD, You pulled me up from Sheol; You spared me from descending into the Pit.
4耶和華的聖民哪，你們要歌頌他，稱讚他可記念的聖名。Sing to the LORD, O you His saints, and praise His holy name.
5因為，他的怒氣不過是轉眼之間；他的恩典乃是一生之久。雖然有哭泣，早晨便必歡呼。For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning.
6至於我，我凡事平順便說：我永不動搖。In prosperity I said, “I will never be shaken.”
7耶和華啊，你曾施恩，叫我的穩固；你掩了面，我就驚惶。O LORD, You favored me; You made my mountain stand strong. When You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
8耶和華啊，我曾求告你；我向耶和華懇求，說：To You, O LORD, I called, and I begged my Lord for mercy:
9我被害流血，下到坑中，有甚麼益處呢？塵土豈能稱讚你，傳說你的誠實麼？“What gain is there in my bloodshed, in my descent to the Pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?
10耶和華啊，求你應允我，憐恤我！耶和華啊，求你幫助我！Hear me, O LORD, and have mercy; O LORD, be my helper.”
11你已將我的哀哭變為跳舞，將我的脫去，給我披上喜樂，You turned my mourning into dancing; You peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12好叫我的靈（原文是榮耀）歌頌你，並不住聲。耶和華─我的 神啊，我要稱謝你，直到永遠！that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks forever.
