書卷介紹：馬可福音福音書
耶穌是神的兒子，祂來是要服事人，並捨命作多人的贖價。
馬可福音是四福音中最短的一卷，節奏明快，常用「立刻」、「隨即」這類字眼。書中記載許多耶穌的行動和神蹟，顯明祂有權柄勝過疾病、鬼魔、自然和罪。全書大約有三分之一的篇幅記載耶穌在世上最後一週的事。馬可特別強調，跟隨耶穌就是要捨己、背起十字架。

1神的兒子，耶穌基督福音的。This is the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2正如先知（有古卷沒有以賽亞三個字）書上記著說：看哪，我要差遣我的使者在你前面，預備道路。As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “Behold, I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way.”
3在曠野有人聲喊著說：預備主的道，他的路。“A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.’”
4照這話，約翰來了，在曠野施洗，傳的洗禮，使罪得赦。John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
5猶太全地和耶路撒冷的人都出去到約翰那裡，承認他們的罪，在裡受他的洗。People went out to him from all of Jerusalem and the countryside of Judea. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
6約翰穿，腰束皮帶，吃的是。John was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
7他傳道說：「有一位在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是彎腰給他也是不配的。And he proclaimed: “After me will come One more powerful than I, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.
8我是用水給你們施洗，他卻要用聖靈給你們施洗。」I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
9那時，耶穌從加利利的來，在約旦河裡受了約翰的洗。In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10他從水裡一上來，就看見天了，聖靈彷彿鴿子，降在他身上。As soon as Jesus came up out of the water, He saw the heavens breaking open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove.
11又有聲音從天上來，說：「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你。」And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
12聖靈就把耶穌到曠野裡去。At once the Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness,
13他在曠野四十天，受的試探，並與野獸同在一處，且有天使來他。and He was there for forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and the angels ministered to Him.
14約翰以後，耶穌來到，宣傳 神的福音，After the arrest of John, Jesus went into Galilee and proclaimed the gospel of God.
15說：「， 神的國近了。你們當悔改，信福音！」“The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!”
16耶穌順著邊走，看見西門和西門的兄弟安得烈在海裡；他們本是打魚的。As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
17耶穌對他們說：「來跟從我，我要叫你們一樣。」“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
18他們就立刻，跟從了他。And at once they left their nets and followed Him.
19耶穌稍往前走，又見的兒子雅各和雅各的兄弟約翰在船上補網。Going on a little farther, He saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat, mending their nets.
20耶穌隨即招呼他們，他們就把父親西庇太和留在船上，跟從耶穌去了。Immediately Jesus called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed Him.
21到了，耶穌就在安息日進了教訓人。Then Jesus and His companions went to Capernaum, and right away Jesus entered the synagogue on the Sabbath and began to teach.
22眾人很他的教訓；因為他教訓他們，正像有權柄的人，不像。The people were astonished at His teaching, because He taught as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
23在會堂裡，有一個人被附著。他喊叫說：Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue:
24「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有甚麼？你來滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，乃是 。」“What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
25耶穌責備他說：「不要作聲！從這人身上出來吧。」But Jesus rebuked the spirit. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!”
26污鬼叫那人，大聲喊叫，就出來了。At this, the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and came out with a loud shriek.
27眾人都驚訝，以致彼此對問說：「這是甚麼事？是個啊！他用權柄吩咐污鬼，連污鬼也聽從了他。」All the people were amazed and began to ask one another, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!”
28耶穌的名聲就傳遍了加利利的四方。And the news about Jesus spread quickly through the whole region of Galilee.
29他們一出會堂，就同著雅各、約翰，進了西門和安得烈的家。As soon as Jesus and His companions had left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
30西門的岳母正躺著，就有人告訴耶穌。Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, and they promptly told Jesus about her.
31耶穌進前拉著她的手，扶她起來，熱就退了，她就服事他們。So He went to her, took her by the hand, and helped her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.
32的時候，有人帶著一切害病的，和被鬼附的，來到耶穌跟前。That evening, after sunset, people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed,
33合城的人都聚集在門前。and the whole town gathered at the door.
34耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。And He healed many who were ill with various diseases and drove out many demons. But He would not allow the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
35次日早晨，的時候，耶穌起來，到曠野地方去，在那裡禱告。Early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up and went out to a solitary place to pray.
36西門和同伴追了他去，Simon and his companions went to look for Him,
37遇見了就對他說：「眾人都找你。」and when they found Him, they said, “Everyone is looking for You!”
38耶穌對他們說：「我們可以往別處去，到鄰近的鄉村，我也好在那裡傳道，因為我是為這事出來的。」But Jesus answered, “Let us go on to the neighboring towns so I can preach there as well, for that is why I have come.”
39於是在加利利全地，進了會堂，傳道，趕鬼。So He went throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
40有一個長的來求耶穌，向他跪下，說：「你若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」Then a leper came to Jesus, begging on his knees: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
41耶穌，就伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!”
42大痲瘋即時離開他，他就潔淨了。And immediately the leprosy left him, and the man was cleansed.
43耶穌他，就打發他走，Jesus promptly sent him away with a stern warning:
44對他說：「你要謹慎，甚麼話都不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，又因為你潔淨了，獻上，對眾人作證據。」“See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering Moses prescribed for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
45那人出去，許多的話，把這件事傳揚開了，叫耶穌以後不得再明明地進城，只好在外邊曠野地方。人從各處都。But the man went out and openly began to proclaim and spread the news. Consequently, Jesus could no longer enter a town in plain view, but He stayed out in solitary places. Yet people came to Him from every quarter.
