1耶穌進了耶利哥，正經過的時候，Then Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
2有一個人名叫撒該，作，是個財主。And there was a man named Zacchaeus, a chief tax collector, who was very wealthy.
3他要看看耶穌是怎樣的人；只因人多，他的身量又矮，所以不得看見，He was trying to see who Jesus was, but could not see over the crowd because he was small in stature.
4就跑到前頭，爬上，要看耶穌，因為耶穌必從那裡經過。So he ran on ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see Him, since Jesus was about to pass that way.
5耶穌到了那裡，抬頭一看，對他說：「撒該，快下來！今天我必住在你家裡。」When Jesus came to that place, He looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry down, for I must stay at your house today.”
6他就急忙下來，歡歡喜喜地接待耶穌。So Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed Him joyfully.
7眾人看見，都說：「他竟到罪人家裡去住宿。」And all who saw this began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinful man!”
8撒該站著對主說：「主啊，我把所有的一半給窮人；我若了誰，就還他四倍。」But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will repay it fourfold.”
9耶穌說：「今天救恩到了這家，因為他也是。Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham.
10人子來，為要尋找、拯救失喪的人。」For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
11眾人正在聽見這些話的時候，耶穌因為將近耶路撒冷，又因他們以為 神的國快要顯出來，就另設一個比喻，說：While the people were listening to this, Jesus proceeded to tell them a parable, because He was near Jerusalem and they thought the kingdom of God would appear imminently.
12「有一個往遠方去，，So He said, “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to lay claim to his kingship and then return.
13便叫了他的十個僕人來，交給他們十（錠：原文是彌拿，一彌拿約銀十兩）銀子，說：『你們去做生意，直等我回來。』Beforehand, he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Conduct business with this until I return,’ he said.
14他本國的人卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We do not want this man to rule over us.’
15他既得國回來，就吩咐叫那領銀子的僕人來，要知道他們做生意賺了多少。When he returned from procuring his kingship, he summoned the servants to whom he had given the money, to find out what each one had earned.
16頭一個上來，說：『主啊，你的一錠銀子已經賺了十錠。』The first servant came forward and said, ‘Master, your mina has produced ten more minas.’
17主人說：『好！良善的僕人，你既在最小的事上有忠心，可以有權柄管十座城。』His master replied, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
18第二個來，說：『主啊，你的一錠銀子已經賺了五錠。』The second servant came and said, ‘Master, your mina has made five minas.’
19主人說：『你也可以管五座城。』And to this one he said, ‘You shall have authority over five cities.’
20又有一個來說：『主啊，看哪，你的一錠銀子在這裡，我把它包在裡存著。Then another servant came and said, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have laid away in a piece of cloth.
21我原是怕你，因為你是的人；沒有放下的，還要去拿，沒有種下的，還要去收。』For I was afraid of you, because you are a harsh man. You withdraw what you did not deposit and reap what you did not sow.’
22主人對他說：『你這惡僕，我要憑你的口定你的罪。你既知道我是嚴厲的人，沒有放下的，還要去拿，沒有種下的，還要去收，His master replied, ‘You wicked servant, I will judge you by your own words. So you knew that I am a harsh man, withdrawing what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow?
23為甚麼不把我的銀子交給，等我來的時候，連本帶利都可以要回來呢？』Why then did you not deposit my money in the bank, and upon my return I could have collected it with interest?’
24就對旁邊站著的人說：『奪過他這一錠來，給那有十錠的。』Then he told those standing by, ‘Take the mina from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
25他們說：『主啊，他已經有十錠了。』‘Master,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
26主人說：『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要加給他；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。He replied, ‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more; but the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
27至於我那些仇敵，不要我作他們王的，把他們拉來，在我面前殺了吧！』」And these enemies of mine who were unwilling for me to rule over them, bring them here and slay them in front of me.’”
28耶穌說完了這話，就在前面走，上耶路撒冷去。After Jesus had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
29將近伯法其和，在一座山名叫那裡，就打發兩個門徒，說：As He approached Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, He sent out two of His disciples,
30「你們往對面村子裡去，進去的時候，必看見一匹拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的，可以解開牽來。saying, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.
31若有人問為甚麼解牠，你們就說：『主要用牠。』」If anyone asks, ‘Why are you untying it?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
32打發的人去了，所遇見的正如耶穌所說的。So those who were sent went out and found it just as Jesus had told them.
33他們解驢駒的時候，主人問他們說：「解驢駒做甚麼？」As they were untying the colt, its owners asked, “Why are you untying the colt?”
34他們說：「主要用牠。」“The Lord needs it,” they answered.
35他們牽到耶穌那裡，把自己的衣服搭在上面，扶著耶穌騎上。Then they led the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks over it, and put Jesus on it.
36走的時候，眾人把衣服鋪在路上。As He rode along, the people spread their cloaks on the road.
37將近耶路撒冷，正下橄欖山的時候，眾門徒因所見過的一切異能，都歡樂起來，大聲讚美 神，And as He approached the descent from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of disciples began to praise God joyfully in a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:
38說：奉主名來的王是的！在天上有和平；在至高之處有榮光。“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39眾人中有幾個對耶穌說：「夫子，責備你的門徒吧！」But some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples!”
40耶穌說：「我告訴你們，若是他們閉口不說，這些石頭必要。」“I tell you,” He answered, “if they remain silent, the very stones will cry out.”
41耶穌快到耶路撒冷，看見城，就為它哀哭，As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it
42說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。and said, “If only you had known on this day what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.
43因為日子將到，你的仇敵必築起，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，For the days will come upon you when your enemies will barricade you and surround you and hem you in on every side.
44並要掃滅你和你裡頭的兒女，連一塊石頭也不留在石頭上，因你不知道你的時候。」They will level you to the ground—you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”
45耶穌進了殿，趕出裡頭，Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling there.
46對他們說：「經上說：我的殿必作禱告的殿，你們倒使它成為了。」He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be a house of prayer.’ But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
47耶穌天天在殿裡教訓人。祭司長和文士與百姓的尊長都想要殺他，Jesus was teaching at the temple every day, but the chief priests, scribes, and leaders of the people were intent on killing Him.
48但尋不出法子來，因為百姓都他。Yet they could not find a way to do so, because all the people hung on His words.
