1眾祭司啊，要聽我的話！以色列家啊，要留心聽！王家啊，要側耳而聽！審判要臨到你們，因你們在米斯巴如網羅，在他泊山如鋪張的網。“Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O royal house! For this judgment is against you because you have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.
2這些悖逆的人肆行殺戮，罪孽極深；我卻斥責他們眾人。The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I will chastise them all.
3以法蓮為我所知；以色列不能向我隱藏。以法蓮哪，現在你行淫了，以色列被玷污了。I know all about Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me. For now, O Ephraim, you have turned to prostitution; Israel is defiled.
4他們所行的使他們不能歸向 神；因有淫心在他們裡面，他們也不認識耶和華。Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the LORD.
5以色列的驕傲當面見證自己。故此，以色列和以法蓮必因自己的罪孽跌倒；猶大也必與他們一同跌倒。Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; even Judah stumbles with them.
6他們必牽著牛羊去尋求耶和華，卻尋不見；他已經轉去離開他們。They go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, but they do not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.
7他們向耶和華行事詭詐，生了私子。到了月朔，他們與他們的地業必被吞滅。They have been unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the New Moon will devour them along with their land.
8你們當在基比亞吹角，在拉瑪吹號，在伯‧亞文吹出大聲，說：便雅憫哪，有仇敵在你後頭！Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the battle cry in Beth-aven: Lead on, O Benjamin!
9在責罰的日子，以法蓮必變為荒場；我在以色列支派中，指示將來必成的事。Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.
10猶大的首領如同的人，我必將忿怒倒在他們身上，如水一般。The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary stones; I will pour out My fury upon them like water.
11以法蓮因樂從人的命令，就受欺壓，被審判壓碎。Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, for he is determined to follow worthless idols.
12我使以法蓮如之物，使猶大家如朽爛之木。So I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.
13以法蓮見自己有病，猶大見自己有傷，他們就打發人往亞述去見，他卻不能醫治你們，不能治好你們的傷。When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.
14我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我必撕裂而去，我要奪去，無人搭救。For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.
15我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪（或譯：承認己罪），尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
