1耶和華的話又臨到我說：Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2「人子啊，你要發預言說，主耶和華如此說：哀哉這日！你們應當哭號。“Son of man, prophesy and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Wail, ‘Alas for that day!’
3因為耶和華的日子臨近，就是密雲之日，列國受罰之期。For the day is near, the Day of the LORD is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.
4必有刀劍臨到埃及；在埃及被殺之人仆倒的時候，古實人就有痛苦，人民必被擄掠，基址必被拆毀。A sword will come against Egypt, and there will be anguish in Cush when the slain fall in Egypt, its wealth is taken away, and its foundations are torn down.
5古實人、弗人（或譯：利比亞）、路德人、雜族的人民，並古巴人，以及同盟之地的人都要與埃及人一同倒在刀下。」Cush, Put, and Lud, and all the various peoples, as well as Libya and the men of the covenant land, will fall with Egypt by the sword.
6耶和華如此說：扶助埃及的也必傾倒。埃及因勢力而有的驕傲必降低微；其中的人民，從色弗尼塔起（見二十九章十節）必倒在刀下。這是主耶和華說的。For this is what the LORD says: The allies of Egypt will fall, and her proud strength will collapse. From Migdol to Syene they will fall by the sword within her, declares the Lord GOD.
7埃及地在荒涼的國中必成為荒涼；埃及城在荒廢的城中也變為荒廢。They will be desolate among desolate lands, and their cities will lie among ruined cities.
8我在埃及中使火著起；幫助埃及的，都被滅絕。那時，他們就知道我是耶和華。Then they will know that I am the LORD when I set fire to Egypt and all her helpers are shattered.
9「到那日，必有使者坐船，從我面前出去，使安逸無慮的古實人驚懼；必有痛苦臨到他們，好像埃及遭災的日子一樣。看哪，這事臨近了！On that day messengers will go out from Me in ships to frighten Cush out of complacency. Anguish will come upon them on the day of Egypt’s doom. For it is indeed coming.
10主耶和華如此說：我必藉巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手，除滅埃及眾人。This is what the Lord GOD says: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
11他和隨從他的人，就是列國中強暴的，必進來毀滅這地。他們必拔刀攻擊埃及，使遍地有被殺的人。He and his people with him, the most ruthless of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.
12我必使江河乾涸，將地賣在惡人的手中；我必藉外邦人的手，使這地和其中所有的變為淒涼。這是我─耶和華說的。I will make the streams dry up and sell the land to the wicked. By the hands of foreigners I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it. I, the LORD, have spoken.
13主耶和華如此說：我必毀滅偶像，從除滅神像；必不再有君王出自埃及地。我要使埃及地的人懼怕。This is what the Lord GOD says: I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis. There will no longer be a prince in Egypt, and I will instill fear in that land.
14我必使巴忒羅荒涼，在瑣安中使火著起，向挪施行審判。I will lay waste Pathros, set fire to Zoan, and execute judgment on Thebes.
15我必將我的忿怒倒在埃及的保障上，就是訓上，並要剪除挪的眾人。I will pour out My wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the crowds of Thebes.
16我必在埃及中使火著起；訓必大大痛苦；挪必被攻破；挪弗白日（或譯：終日）見仇敵。I will set fire to Egypt, Pelusium will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be split open, and Memphis will face daily distress.
17亞文和比伯實的少年人必倒在刀下；這些城的人必被擄掠。The young men of On and Pi-beseth will fall by the sword, and those cities will go into captivity.
18我在答比匿折斷埃及的諸軛，使她因勢力而有的驕傲在其中止息。那時，日光必退去；至於這城，必有密雲遮蔽，其中的女子必被擄掠。The day will be darkened in Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt and her proud strength comes to an end. A cloud will cover her, and her daughters will go into captivity.
19我必這樣向埃及施行審判，他們就知道我是耶和華。」So I will execute judgment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the LORD.”
20十一年正月初七日，耶和華的話臨到我說：In the eleventh year, on the seventh day of the first month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
21「人子啊，我已打折埃及王法老的膀臂；沒有，也沒有用布纏好，使他有力持刀。“Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. See, it has not been bound up for healing, or splinted for strength to hold the sword.
22所以主耶和華如此說：看哪，我與埃及王法老為敵，必將他有力的膀臂和已打折的膀臂全行打斷，使刀從他手中墜落。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt. I will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken, and will make the sword fall from his hand.
23我必將埃及人分散在列國，四散在列邦。I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
24我必使巴比倫王的膀臂有力，將我的刀交在他手中；卻要打斷法老的膀臂，他就在巴比倫王面前唉哼，如同受死傷的人一樣。I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king and place My sword in his hand, but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, who will groan before him like a mortally wounded man.
25我必扶持巴比倫王的膀臂，法老的膀臂卻要下垂；我將我的刀交在巴比倫王手中，他必舉刀攻擊埃及地，他們就知道我是耶和華。I will strengthen the arms of Babylon’s king, but Pharaoh’s arms will fall limp. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I place My sword in the hand of Babylon’s king, and he wields it against the land of Egypt.
26我必將埃及人分散在列國，四散在列邦；他們就知道我是耶和華。」I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
