1摩西和以色列的眾長老吩咐百姓說：「你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命。Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.
2你們過約旦河，到了耶和華─你 神所賜給你的地，當天要立起幾塊大石頭，，And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.
3把這律法的一切話寫在石頭上。你過了河，可以進入耶和華─你 神所賜你流奶與蜜之地，正如耶和華─你列祖之 神所應許你的。Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4你們過了約旦河，就要在以巴路山上照我今日所吩咐的，將這些石頭立起來，墁上石灰。And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.
5在那裡要為耶和華─你的 神築一座石壇；在石頭上不可動鐵器。Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.
6要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華─你 神的壇，在壇上要將燔祭獻給耶和華─你的 神。You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
7又要獻平安祭，且在那裡吃，在耶和華─你的 神面前歡樂。There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
8你要將這律法的一切話明明地寫在石頭上。」And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
9摩西和祭司利未人曉諭以色列眾人說：「以色列啊，要。你今日成為耶和華─你 神的百姓了。Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.
10所以要聽從耶和華─你 神的話，遵行他的誡命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的。」You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”
11當日，摩西囑咐百姓說：On that day Moses commanded the people:
12「你們過了約旦河，西緬、利未、猶大、以薩迦、約瑟、便雅憫六個支派的人都要站在基利心山上為百姓祝福。“When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13流便、迦得、亞設、西布倫、但、拿弗他利六個支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒詛。And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14利未人要向以色列眾人高聲說：Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:
15「『有人製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，或雕刻，或鑄造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中設立，那人必受咒詛！』百姓都要答應說：『！』‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
16「『輕慢父母的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
17「『挪移鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
18「『使瞎子走差路的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
19「『向寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
20「『與繼母行淫的，必受咒詛！因為掀開他父親的衣襟。』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
21「『與獸淫合的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
22「『與異母同父，或異父同母的姊妹行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
23「『與岳母行淫的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
24「『暗中殺人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
25「『受賄賂害死無辜之人的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
26「『不堅守遵行這律法言語的，必受咒詛！』百姓都要說：『阿們！』‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’
