為大祭司約書亞戴上冠冕

⁹耶和華的話臨到我說：The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,

¹⁰「你要從被擄之人中取黑玳、多比雅、耶大雅的金銀。這三人是從巴比倫來到西番雅的兒子約西亞的家裡。當日你要進他的家，“Take an offering from the exiles—from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon—and go that same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.

¹¹取這金銀做冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞的頭上，Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jehozadak.

名為苗裔的要建造殿

¹²對他說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：看哪，那名稱為大衛苗裔的，他要在本處長起來，並要建造耶和華的殿。And you are to tell him that this is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Here is a man whose name is the Branch, and He will branch out from His place and build the temple of the LORD.

¹³他要建造耶和華的殿，並擔負尊榮，坐在位上掌王權；又必在位上作祭司，使兩職之間籌定和平。Yes, He will build the temple of the LORD; He will be clothed in splendor and will sit on His throne and rule. And He will be a priest on His throne, and there will be peaceful counsel between the two.’

¹⁴這冠冕要歸希連（就是黑玳）、多比雅、耶大雅，和西番雅的兒子賢（就是約西亞），放在耶和華的殿裡為記念。」The crown will reside in the temple of the LORD as a memorial to Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and the gracious son of Zephaniah.

¹⁵遠方的人也要來建造耶和華的殿，你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裡來。你們若留意聽從耶和華─你們　神的話，這事必然成就。Even those far away will come and build the temple of the LORD, and you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.”

伯特利人問禁食的事

¹大利烏王第四年九月，就是基斯流月初四日，耶和華的話臨到撒迦利亞。In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Chislev.

²那時伯特利人已經打發沙利色和利堅米勒，並跟從他們的人，去懇求耶和華的恩，Now the people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-melech, along with their men, to plead before the LORD

³並問萬軍之耶和華殿中的祭司和先知說：「我歷年以來，在五月間哭泣齋戒，現在還當這樣行嗎？」by asking the priests of the house of the LORD of Hosts, as well as the prophets, “Should I weep and fast in the fifth month, as I have done these many years?”

⁴萬軍之耶和華的話就臨到我說：Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,

⁵「你要宣告國內的眾民和祭司，說：『你們這七十年，在五月、七月禁食悲哀，豈是絲毫向我禁食嗎？“Ask all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for these seventy years, was it really for Me that you fasted?

⁶你們吃喝，不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？And when you were eating and drinking, were you not doing so simply for yourselves?

⁷當耶路撒冷和四圍的城邑有居民，正興盛，南地高原有人居住的時候，耶和華藉從前的先知所宣告的話，你們不當聽嗎？』」Are these not the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were populous and prosperous, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?’”

要按至理判斷，以慈愛待人

⁸耶和華的話又臨到撒迦利亞說：Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,

⁹「萬軍之耶和華曾對你們的列祖如此說：『要按至理判斷，各人以慈愛憐憫弟兄。“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Administer true justice. Show loving devotion and compassion to one another.

¹⁰不可欺壓寡婦、孤兒、寄居的，和貧窮人。誰都不可心裡謀害弟兄。』」Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. And do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.’

列祖卻塞耳不聽

¹¹他們卻不肯聽從，扭轉肩頭，塞耳不聽，But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder; they stopped up their ears from hearing.

¹²使心硬如金鋼石，不聽律法和萬軍之耶和華用靈藉從前的先知所說的話。故此，萬軍之耶和華大發烈怒。They made their hearts like flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD of Hosts had sent by His Spirit through the earlier prophets. Therefore great anger came from the LORD of Hosts.

¹³萬軍之耶和華說：「我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽！And just as I had called and they would not listen, so when they called I would not listen, says the LORD of Hosts.

¹⁴我必以旋風吹散他們到素不認識的萬國中。這樣，他們的地就荒涼，甚至無人來往經過，因為他們使美好之地荒涼了。」But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations that they had not known, and the land was left desolate behind them so that no one could come or go. Thus they turned the pleasant land into a desolation.”

神要回到錫安

¹萬軍之耶和華的話臨到我說：Again the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:

²「萬軍之耶和華如此說：我為錫安心裡極其火熱，我為她火熱，向她的仇敵發烈怒。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I am jealous for Zion with great zeal; I am jealous for her with great fervor.”

³耶和華如此說：我現在回到錫安，要住在耶路撒冷中。耶路撒冷必稱為誠實的城，萬軍之耶和華的山必稱為聖山。This is what the LORD says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.”

⁴萬軍之耶和華如此說：將來必有年老的男女坐在耶路撒冷街上，因為年紀老邁就手拿柺杖。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Old men and old women will again sit along the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of great age.

⁵城中街上必滿有男孩女孩玩耍。And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”

⁶萬軍之耶和華如此說：到那日，這事在餘剩的民眼中看為希奇，在我眼中也看為希奇嗎？這是萬軍之耶和華說的。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “If this is impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be impossible in My eyes?” declares the LORD of Hosts.

⁷萬軍之耶和華如此說：我要從東方從西方救回我的民。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I will save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west.

⁸我要領他們來，使他們住在耶路撒冷中。他們要作我的子民，我要作他們的　神，都憑誠實和公義。」I will bring them back to dwell in Jerusalem, where they will be My people, and I will be their faithful and righteous God.”

你們的手要強壯

⁹萬軍之耶和華如此說：「當建造萬軍之耶和華的殿，立根基之日的先知所說的話，現在你們聽見，應當手裡強壯。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Let your hands be strong, you who now hear these words spoken by the prophets who were present when the foundations were laid to rebuild the temple, the house of the LORD of Hosts.

¹⁰那日以先，人得不著雇價，牲畜也是如此；且因敵人的緣故，出入之人不得平安，乃因我使眾人互相攻擊。For before those days neither man nor beast received wages, nor was there safety from the enemy for anyone who came or went, for I had turned every man against his neighbor.

¹¹但如今，我待這餘剩的民必不像從前。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past,” declares the LORD of Hosts.

¹²因為他們必平安撒種，葡萄樹必結果子，地土必有出產，天也必降甘露。我要使這餘剩的民享受這一切的福。“For the seed will be prosperous, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will yield its produce, and the skies will give their dew. To the remnant of this people I will give all these things as an inheritance.

¹³猶大家和以色列家啊，你們從前在列國中怎樣成為可咒詛的；照樣，我要拯救你們，使人稱你們為有福的（或譯：使你們叫人得福）。你們不要懼怕，手要強壯。As you have been a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid; let your hands be strong.”

定意施恩與耶路撒冷

¹⁴萬軍之耶和華如此說：「你們列祖惹我發怒的時候，我怎樣定意降禍，並不後悔。For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Just as I resolved to bring disaster upon you when your fathers provoked Me to anger, and I did not relent,” says the LORD of Hosts,

¹⁵現在我照樣定意施恩與耶路撒冷和猶大家，你們不要懼怕。“so now I have resolved to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid.

¹⁶你們所當行的是這樣：各人與鄰舍說話誠實，在城門口按至理判斷，使人和睦。These are the things you must do: Speak truth to one another, render true and sound judgments in your gates,

¹⁷誰都不可心裡謀害鄰舍，也不可喜愛起假誓，因為這些事都為我所恨惡。這是耶和華說的。」do not plot evil in your hearts against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely, for I hate all these things,” declares the LORD.

禁食的日子變為節期

¹⁸萬軍之耶和華的話臨到我說：Then the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,

¹⁹「萬軍之耶和華如此說：四月、五月禁食的日子，七月、十月禁食的日子，必變為猶大家歡喜快樂的日子和歡樂的節期；所以你們要喜愛誠實與和平。」“This is what the LORD of Hosts says: The fasts of the fourth, the fifth, the seventh, and the tenth months will become times of joy and gladness, cheerful feasts for the house of Judah. Therefore you are to love both truth and peace.”

列國要來尋求耶和華

²⁰萬軍之耶和華如此說：「將來必有列國的人和多城的居民來到。This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Peoples will yet come—the residents of many cities—

²¹這城的居民必到那城，說：『我們要快去懇求耶和華的恩，尋求萬軍之耶和華；我也要去。』and the residents of one city will go to another, saying: ‘Let us go at once to plead before the LORD and to seek the LORD of Hosts. I myself am going.’

²²必有列邦的人和強國的民來到耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之耶和華，懇求耶和華的恩。And many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to plead before the LORD.”

²³萬軍之耶和華如此說：在那些日子，必有十個人從列國諸族（原文是方言）中出來，拉住一個猶大人的衣襟，說：『我們要與你們同去，因為我們聽見　神與你們同在了。』」This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “In those days ten men from the nations of every tongue will tightly grasp the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

審判四圍的列國

¹耶和華的默示應驗在哈得拉地大馬士革─世人和以色列各支派的眼目都仰望耶和華─This is the burden of the word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and Damascus its resting place—for the eyes of men and of all the tribes of Israel are upon the LORD—

²和靠近的哈馬，並泰爾、西頓；因為這二城的人大有智慧。and also against Hamath, which borders it, as well as Tyre and Sidon, though they are very shrewd.

³泰爾為自己修築保障，積蓄銀子如塵沙，堆起精金如街上的泥土。Tyre has built herself a fortress; she has heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the dirt of the streets.

⁴主必趕出她，打敗她海上的權利；她必被火燒滅。Behold, the Lord will impoverish her and cast her wealth into the sea, and she will be consumed by fire.

⁵亞實基倫看見必懼怕；迦薩看見甚痛苦；以革倫因失了盼望蒙羞。迦薩必不再有君王；亞實基倫也不再有居民。Ashkelon will see and fear; Gaza will writhe in agony, as will Ekron, for her hope will wither. There will cease to be a king in Gaza, and Ashkelon will be uninhabited.

⁶私生子（或譯：外族人）必住在亞實突；我必除滅非利士人的驕傲。A mixed race will occupy Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

⁷我必除去他口中帶血之肉和牙齒內可憎之物。他必作為餘剩的人歸與我們的　神，必在猶大像族長；以革倫人必如耶布斯人。I will remove the blood from their mouths and the abominations from between their teeth. Then they too will become a remnant for our God; they will become like a clan in Judah, and Ekron will be like the Jebusites.

⁸我必在我家的四圍安營，使敵軍不得任意往來，暴虐的人也不再經過，因為我親眼看顧我的家。But I will camp around My house because of an army, because of those who march to and fro, and never again will an oppressor overrun My people, for now I keep watch with My own eyes.

你的王騎著驢駒來到

⁹錫安的民哪，應當大大喜樂；耶路撒冷的民哪，應當歡呼。看哪，你的王來到你這裡！他是公義的，並且施行拯救，謙謙和和地騎著驢，就是騎著驢的駒子。Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

¹⁰我必除滅以法蓮的戰車和耶路撒冷的戰馬；爭戰的弓也必除滅。他必向列國講和平；他的權柄必從這海管到那海，從大河管到地極。And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the bow of war will be broken. Then He will proclaim peace to the nations. His dominion will extend from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.

被囚而有指望的人

¹¹錫安哪，我因與你立約的血，將你中間被擄而囚的人從無水的坑中釋放出來。As for you, because of the blood of My covenant, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.

¹²你們被囚而有指望的人都要轉回保障。我今日說明，我必加倍賜福給你們。Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; even today I declare that I will restore to you double.

¹³我拿猶大作上弦的弓；我拿以法蓮為張弓的箭。錫安哪，我要激發你的眾子，攻擊希臘（原文是雅完）的眾子，使你如勇士的刀。For I will bend Judah as My bow and fit it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, O Zion, against the sons of Greece. I will make you like the sword of a mighty man.

耶和華必保護祂的民

¹⁴耶和華必顯現在他們以上；他的箭必射出像閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。Then the LORD will appear over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord GOD will sound the ram’s horn and advance in the whirlwinds of the south.

¹⁵萬軍之耶和華必保護他們；他們必吞滅仇敵，踐踏彈石。他們必喝血吶喊，猶如飲酒；他們必像盛滿血的碗，又像壇的四角滿了血。The LORD of Hosts will shield them. They will destroy and conquer with slingstones; they will drink and roar as with wine. And they will be filled like sprinkling bowls, drenched like the corners of the altar.

¹⁶當那日，耶和華─他們的　神必看他的民如群羊，拯救他們；因為他們必像冠冕上的寶石，高舉在他的地以上（或譯：在他的地上發光輝）。On that day the LORD their God will save them as the flock of His people; for like jewels in a crown they will sparkle over His land.

¹⁷他的恩慈何等大！他的榮美何其盛！五穀健壯少男；新酒培養處女。How lovely they will be, and how beautiful! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine, the young women.

撒但被捆綁一千年

¹我又看見一位天使從天降下，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鍊子。Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the Abyss, holding in his hand a great chain.

²他捉住那龍，就是古蛇，又叫魔鬼，也叫撒但，把牠捆綁一千年，He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

³扔在無底坑裡，將無底坑關閉，用印封上，使牠不得再迷惑列國。等到那一千年完了，以後必須暫時釋放牠。And he threw him into the Abyss, shut it, and sealed it over him, so that he could not deceive the nations until the thousand years were complete. After that, he must be released for a brief period of time.

與基督一同作王

⁴我又看見幾個寶座，也有坐在上面的，並有審判的權柄賜給他們。我又看見那些因為給耶穌作見證，並為　神之道被斬者的靈魂，和那沒有拜過獸與獸像，也沒有在額上和手上受過他印記之人的靈魂，他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

頭一次的復活

⁵這是頭一次的復活。（其餘的死人還沒有復活，直等那一千年完了。）The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were complete. This is the first resurrection.

⁶在頭一次復活有分的有福了，聖潔了！第二次的死在他們身上沒有權柄。他們必作　神和基督的祭司，並要與基督一同作王一千年。Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

撒但被釋放，歌革和瑪各

⁷那一千年完了，撒但必從監牢裡被釋放，When the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison,

⁸出來要迷惑地上四方（原文是角）的列國，就是歌革和瑪各，叫他們聚集爭戰。他們的人數多如海沙。and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the seashore.

⁹他們上來遍滿了全地，圍住聖徒的營與蒙愛的城，就有火從天降下，燒滅了他們。And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heaven and consumed them.

¹⁰那迷惑他們的魔鬼被扔在硫磺的火湖裡，就是獸和假先知所在的地方。他們必晝夜受痛苦，直到永永遠遠。And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

白色大寶座的審判

¹¹我又看見一個白色的大寶座與坐在上面的；從他面前天地都逃避，再無可見之處了。Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.

¹²我又看見死了的人，無論大小，都站在寶座前。案卷展開了，並且另有一卷展開，就是生命冊。死了的人都憑著這些案卷所記載的，照他們所行的受審判。And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And books were opened, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books.

¹³於是海交出其中的死人；死亡和陰間也交出其中的死人；他們都照各人所行的受審判。The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

死亡和陰間被扔在火湖裡

¹⁴死亡和陰間也被扔在火湖裡；這火湖就是第二次的死。Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire.

¹⁵若有人名字沒記在生命冊上，他就被扔在火湖裡。And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
