耶和華與這地的居民爭辯

¹以色列人哪，你們當聽耶和華的話。耶和華與這地的居民爭辯，因這地上無誠實，無良善，無人認識　神。Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a case against the people of the land: “There is no truth, no loving devotion, and no knowledge of God in the land!

²但起假誓，不踐前言，殺害，偷盜，姦淫，行強暴，殺人流血，接連不斷。Cursing and lying, murder and stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

³因此，這地悲哀，其上的民、田野的獸、空中的鳥必都衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea disappear.

祭司棄掉知識

⁴然而，人都不必爭辯，也不必指責，因為這民與抗拒祭司的人一樣。But let no man contend; let no man offer reproof; for your people are like those who contend with a priest.

⁵你這祭司必日間跌倒；先知也必夜間與你一同跌倒；我必滅絕你的母親。You will stumble by day, and the prophet will stumble with you by night; so I will destroy your mother—

⁶我的民因無知識而滅亡。你棄掉知識，我也必棄掉你，使你不再給我作祭司。你既忘了你　神的律法，我也必忘記你的兒女。My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as My priests. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

⁷祭司越發增多，就越發得罪我；我必使他們的榮耀變為羞辱。The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; they exchanged their Glory for a thing of disgrace.

⁸他們吃我民的贖罪祭，滿心願意我民犯罪。They feed on the sins of My people and set their hearts on iniquity.

⁹將來民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他們所行的懲罰他們，照他們所做的報應他們。And it shall be like people, like priest. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.

¹⁰他們吃，卻不得飽；行淫，而不得立後；因為他們離棄耶和華，不遵他的命。They will eat but not be satisfied; they will be promiscuous but not multiply. For they have abandoned the LORD to give themselves

求問木偶，在山頂獻祭

¹¹姦淫和酒，並新酒，奪去人的心。to promiscuity, wine, and new wine, which take away understanding.

¹²我的民求問木偶，以為木杖能指示他們；因為他們的淫心使他們失迷，他們就行淫離棄　神，不守約束，My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of prostitution leads them astray and they have played the harlot against their God.

¹³在各山頂，各高岡的橡樹、楊樹、栗樹之下，獻祭燒香，因為樹影美好。所以，你們的女兒淫亂，你們的新婦（或譯：兒婦；下同）行淫。They sacrifice on the mountaintops and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is pleasant. And so your daughters turn to prostitution and your daughters-in-law to adultery.

¹⁴你們的女兒淫亂，你們的新婦行淫，我卻不懲罰她們；因為你們自己離群與娼妓同居，與妓女一同獻祭。這無知的民必致傾倒。I will not punish your daughters when they prostitute themselves, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery. For the men themselves go off with prostitutes and offer sacrifices with shrine prostitutes. So a people without understanding will come to ruin.

不要往吉甲去

¹⁵以色列啊，你雖然行淫，猶大卻不可犯罪。不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯‧亞文，也不要指著永生的耶和華起誓。Though you prostitute yourself, O Israel, may Judah avoid such guilt! Do not journey to Gilgal, do not go up to Beth-aven, and do not swear on oath, ‘As surely as the LORD lives!’

¹⁶以色列倔強，猶如倔強的母牛；現在耶和華要放他們，如同放羊羔在寬闊之地。For Israel is as obstinate as a stubborn heifer. Can the LORD now shepherd them like lambs in an open meadow?

¹⁷以法蓮親近偶像，任憑他吧！Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone!

¹⁸他們所喝的已經發酸，他們時常行淫，他們的官長最愛羞恥的事。When their liquor is gone, they turn to prostitution; their rulers dearly love disgrace.

¹⁹風把他們裹在翅膀裡；他們因所獻的祭必致蒙羞。The whirlwind has wrapped them in its wings, and their sacrifices will bring them shame.

審判臨到祭司和王家

¹眾祭司啊，要聽我的話！以色列家啊，要留心聽！王家啊，要側耳而聽！審判要臨到你們，因你們在米斯巴如網羅，在他泊山如鋪張的網。“Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O royal house! For this judgment is against you because you have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor.

²這些悖逆的人肆行殺戮，罪孽極深；我卻斥責他們眾人。The rebels are deep in slaughter; but I will chastise them all.

³以法蓮為我所知；以色列不能向我隱藏。以法蓮哪，現在你行淫了，以色列被玷污了。I know all about Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from Me. For now, O Ephraim, you have turned to prostitution; Israel is defiled.

⁴他們所行的使他們不能歸向　神；因有淫心在他們裡面，他們也不認識耶和華。Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the LORD.

⁵以色列的驕傲當面見證自己。故此，以色列和以法蓮必因自己的罪孽跌倒；猶大也必與他們一同跌倒。Israel’s arrogance testifies against them; Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; even Judah stumbles with them.

⁶他們必牽著牛羊去尋求耶和華，卻尋不見；他已經轉去離開他們。They go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, but they do not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.

⁷他們向耶和華行事詭詐，生了私子。到了月朔，他們與他們的地業必被吞滅。They have been unfaithful to the LORD; for they have borne illegitimate children. Now the New Moon will devour them along with their land.

吹角警告

⁸你們當在基比亞吹角，在拉瑪吹號，在伯‧亞文吹出大聲，說：便雅憫哪，有仇敵在你後頭！Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah; raise the battle cry in Beth-aven: Lead on, O Benjamin!

⁹在責罰的日子，以法蓮必變為荒場；我在以色列支派中，指示將來必成的事。Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of rebuke. Among the tribes of Israel I proclaim what is certain.

¹⁰猶大的首領如同挪移地界的人，我必將忿怒倒在他們身上，如水一般。The princes of Judah are like those who move boundary stones; I will pour out My fury upon them like water.

¹¹以法蓮因樂從人的命令，就受欺壓，被審判壓碎。Ephraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, for he is determined to follow worthless idols.

¹²我使以法蓮如蟲蛀之物，使猶大家如朽爛之木。So I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like decay to the house of Judah.

向亞述求救無用

¹³以法蓮見自己有病，猶大見自己有傷，他們就打發人往亞述去見耶雷布王，他卻不能醫治你們，不能治好你們的傷。When Ephraim saw his sickness and Judah his wound, then Ephraim turned to Assyria and sent to the great king. But he cannot cure you or heal your wound.

¹⁴我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我必撕裂而去，我要奪去，無人搭救。For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them to pieces and then go away. I will carry them off where no one can rescue them.

¹⁵我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪（或譯：承認己罪），尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。Then I will return to My place until they admit their guilt and seek My face; in their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

來吧，我們歸向耶和華

¹來吧，我們歸向耶和華！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；他打傷我們，也必纏裹。Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds.

²過兩天他必使我們甦醒，第三天他必使我們興起，我們就在他面前得以存活。After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.

³我們務要認識耶和華，竭力追求認識他。他出現確如晨光；他必臨到我們像甘雨，像滋潤田地的春雨。So let us know—let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the earth.

良善如早晨的雲霧

⁴主說：以法蓮哪，我可向你怎樣行呢？猶大啊，我可向你怎樣做呢？因為你們的良善如同早晨的雲霧，又如速散的甘露。What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is like a morning mist, like the early dew that vanishes.

⁵因此，我藉先知砍伐他們，以我口中的話殺戮他們；我施行的審判如光發出。Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth, and My judgments go forth like lightning.

⁶我喜愛良善（或譯：憐恤），不喜愛祭祀；喜愛認識　神，勝於燔祭。For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

如亞當背約

⁷他們卻如亞當背約，在境內向我行事詭詐。But they, like Adam, have transgressed the covenant; there they were unfaithful to Me.

⁸基列是作孽之人的城，被血沾染。Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with footprints of blood.

⁹強盜成群，怎樣埋伏殺人，祭司結黨，也照樣在示劍的路上殺戮，行了邪惡。Like raiders who lie in ambush, so does a band of priests; they murder on the way to Shechem; surely they have committed atrocities.

¹⁰在以色列家，我見了可憎的事；在以法蓮那裡有淫行，以色列被玷污。In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing: Ephraim practices prostitution there, and Israel is defiled.

¹¹猶大啊，我使被擄之民歸回的時候，必有為你所命定的收場。Also for you, O Judah, a harvest is appointed, when I restore My people from captivity.

以法蓮的罪顯露

¹我想醫治以色列的時候，以法蓮的罪孽和撒馬利亞的罪惡就顯露出來。他們行事虛謊，內有賊人入室偷竊，外有強盜成群騷擾。When I heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim will be exposed, as well as the crimes of Samaria. For they practice deceit and thieves break in; bandits raid in the streets.

²他們心裡並不思想我記念他們的一切惡；他們所行的現在纏繞他們，都在我面前。But they fail to consider in their hearts that I remember all their evil. Now their deeds are all around them; they are before My face.

熱如火爐的陰謀

³他們行惡使君王歡喜，說謊使首領喜樂。They delight the king with their evil, and the princes with their lies.

⁴他們都是行淫的，像火爐被烤餅的燒熱，從摶麵到發麵的時候，暫不使火著旺。They are all adulterers, like an oven heated by a baker who needs not stoke the fire from the kneading to the rising of the dough.

⁵在我們王宴樂的日子，首領因酒的烈性成病；王與褻慢人拉手。The princes are inflamed with wine on the day of our king; so he joins hands with those who mock him.

⁶首領埋伏的時候，心中熱如火爐，就如烤餅的整夜睡臥，到了早晨火氣炎炎。For they prepare their heart like an oven while they lie in wait; all night their anger smolders; in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.

⁷眾民也熱如火爐，燒滅他們的官長。他們的君王都仆倒而死；他們中間無一人求告我。All of them are hot as an oven, and they devour their rulers. All their kings fall; not one of them calls upon Me.

沒有翻過的餅

⁸以法蓮與列邦人攙雜；以法蓮是沒有翻過的餅。Ephraim mixes with the nations; Ephraim is an unturned cake.

⁹外邦人吞吃他勞力得來的，他卻不知道；頭髮斑白，他也不覺得。Foreigners consume his strength, but he does not notice. Even his hair is streaked with gray, but he does not know.

¹⁰以色列的驕傲當面見證自己，雖遭遇這一切，他們仍不歸向耶和華─他們的　神，也不尋求他。Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, yet they do not return to the LORD their God; despite all this, they do not seek Him.

愚蠢的鴿子

¹¹以法蓮好像鴿子愚蠢無知；他們求告埃及，投奔亞述。So Ephraim has become like a silly, senseless dove—calling out to Egypt, then turning to Assyria.

¹²他們去的時候，我必將我的網撒在他們身上；我要打下他們，如同空中的鳥。我必按他們會眾所聽見的懲罰他們。As they go, I will spread My net over them; I will bring them down like birds of the air. I will chastise them when I hear them flocking together.

¹³他們因離棄我，必定有禍；因違背我，必被毀滅。我雖要救贖他們，他們卻向我說謊。Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! Though I would redeem them, they speak lies against Me.

¹⁴他們並不誠心哀求我，乃在床上呼號；他們為求五穀新酒聚集，仍然悖逆我。They do not cry out to Me from their hearts when they wail upon their beds. They slash themselves for grain and new wine, but turn away from Me.

¹⁵我雖教導他們，堅固他們的膀臂，他們竟圖謀抗拒我。Although I trained and strengthened their arms, they plot evil against Me.

¹⁶他們歸向，卻不歸向至上者；他們如同翻背的弓。他們的首領必因舌頭的狂傲倒在刀下；這在埃及地必作人的譏笑。They turn, but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword for the cursing of their tongue; for this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.

給以弗所教會

¹「你要寫信給以弗所教會的使者，說：『那右手拿著七星、在七個金燈臺中間行走的，說：“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of Him who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

²我知道你的行為、勞碌、忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你也曾試驗那自稱為使徒卻不是使徒的，看出他們是假的來。I know your deeds, your labor, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles.

³你也能忍耐，曾為我的名勞苦，並不乏倦。Without growing weary, you have persevered and endured many things for the sake of My name.

離棄了起初的愛心

⁴然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你把起初的愛心離棄了。But I have this against you: You have abandoned your first love.

⁵所以，應當回想你是從哪裡墜落的，並要悔改，行起初所行的事。你若不悔改，我就臨到你那裡，把你的燈臺從原處挪去。Therefore, keep in mind how far you have fallen. Repent and perform the deeds you did at first. But if you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

⁷聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，我必將　神樂園中生命樹的果子賜給他吃。』」He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God.

⁸「你要寫信給士每拿教會的使者，說：『那首先的、末後的、死過又活的，說：To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the First and the Last, who died and returned to life.

⁹我知道你的患難，你的貧窮（你卻是富足的），也知道那自稱是猶太人所說的毀謗話，其實他們不是猶太人，乃是撒但一會的人。I know your affliction and your poverty—though you are rich! And I am aware of the slander of those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are in fact a synagogue of Satan.

務要至死忠心

¹⁰你將要受的苦你不用怕。魔鬼要把你們中間幾個人下在監裡，叫你們被試煉，你們必受患難十日。你務要至死忠心，我就賜給你那生命的冠冕。Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will suffer tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

¹¹聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，必不受第二次死的害。』」He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.

¹²「你要寫信給別迦摩教會的使者，說：『那有兩刃利劍的，說：To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of the One who holds the sharp, double-edged sword.

¹³我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間、撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有棄絕我的道。I know where you live, where the throne of Satan sits, yet you hold fast to My name. You did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of My faithful witness Antipas, who was killed among you where Satan dwells.

巴蘭的教訓

¹⁴然而，有幾件事我要責備你：因為在你那裡有人服從了巴蘭的教訓；這巴蘭曾教導巴勒將絆腳石放在以色列人面前，叫他們吃祭偶像之物，行姦淫的事。But I have a few things against you, because some of you hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block before the Israelites so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality.

¹⁶所以，你當悔改；若不悔改，我就快臨到你那裡，用我口中的劍攻擊他們。Therefore repent! Otherwise I will come to you shortly and wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.

隱藏的嗎哪和白石

¹⁷聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！得勝的，我必將那隱藏的嗎哪賜給他，並賜他一塊白石，石上寫著新名；除了那領受的以外，沒有人能認識。』」He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone inscribed with a new name, known only to the one who receives it.

¹⁸「你要寫信給推雅推喇教會的使者，說：『那眼目如火焰、腳像光明銅的　神之子說：To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a blazing fire and whose feet are like polished bronze.

¹⁹我知道你的行為、愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐，又知道你末後所行的善事，比起初所行的更多。I know your deeds—your love, your faith, your service, your perseverance—and your latest deeds are greater than your first.

容讓耶洗別

²⁰然而，有一件事我要責備你，就是你容讓那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教導我的僕人，引誘他們行姦淫，吃祭偶像之物。But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads My servants to be sexually immoral and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

²¹我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。Even though I have given her time to repent of her immorality, she is unwilling.

²²看哪，我要叫她病臥在床。那些與她行淫的人，若不悔改所行的，我也要叫他們同受大患難。Behold, I will cast her onto a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer great tribulation unless they repent of her deeds.

持守直等到我來

²⁴至於你們推雅推喇其餘的人，就是一切不從那教訓、不曉得他們素常所說撒但深奧之理的人，我告訴你們，我不將別的擔子放在你們身上。But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned the so-called deep things of Satan: I will place no further burden upon you

得勝的要得權柄和晨星

²⁶那得勝又遵守我命令到底的，我要賜給他權柄制伏列國；And to the one who overcomes and continues in My work until the end, I will give authority over the nations.

²⁷他必用鐵杖轄管（轄管：原文是牧）他們，將他們如同窯戶的瓦器打得粉碎，像我從我父領受的權柄一樣。He will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery—just as I have received authority from My Father.

²⁸我又要把晨星賜給他。And I will give him the morning star.

²⁹聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽！』」He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
