歌唱者的三大家族

¹大衛和眾首領分派亞薩、希幔，並耶杜頓的子孫彈琴、鼓瑟、敲鈸、唱歌（原文是說預言；本章同）。他們供職的人數記在下面：Additionally, David and the commanders of the army set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy with the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbals. The following is the list of the men who performed this service:

²亞薩的兒子撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅、亞薩利拉都歸亞薩指教，遵王的旨意唱歌。From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. These sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.

³耶杜頓的兒子基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每共六人，都歸他們父親耶杜頓指教，彈琴，唱歌，稱謝，頌讚耶和華。From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.

⁴希幔的兒子布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提‧以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀；From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

⁵這都是希幔的兒子，吹角頌讚。希幔奉　神之命作王的先見。　神賜給希幔十四個兒子，三個女兒，All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

⁶都歸他們父親指教，在耶和華的殿唱歌、敲鈸、彈琴、鼓瑟，辦　神殿的事務。亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔都是王所命定的。All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.

⁷他們和他們的弟兄學習頌讚耶和華；善於歌唱的共有二百八十八人。Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.

歌唱者掣籤分成二十四班

⁸這些人無論大小，為師的、為徒的，都一同掣籤分了班次。They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.

⁹掣籤的時候，第一掣出來的是亞薩的兒子約瑟。第二是基大利；他和他弟兄並兒子共十二人。The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁰第三是撒刻；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹¹第四是伊洗利；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹²第五是尼探雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹³第六是布基雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁴第七是耶薩利拉；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁵第八是耶篩亞；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁶第九是瑪探雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁷第十是示每；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the tenth to Shimei, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁸第十一是亞薩烈；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the eleventh to Azarel, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

¹⁹第十二是哈沙比雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁰第十三是書巴業；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the thirteenth to Shubael, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²¹第十四是瑪他提雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the fourteenth to Mattithiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²²第十五是耶利摩；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²³第十六是哈拿尼雅；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁴第十七是約施比加沙；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁵第十八是哈拿尼；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁶第十九是瑪羅提；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁷第二十是以利亞他；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁸第二十一是何提；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

²⁹第二十二是基大利提；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

³⁰第二十三是瑪哈秀；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

³¹第二十四是羅幔提‧以謝；他和他兒子並弟兄共十二人。and the twenty-fourth to Romamti-ezer, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all.

守門的家族

¹守門的班次記在下面：可拉族亞薩的子孫中，有可利的兒子米施利米雅。These were the divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, one of the sons of Asaph.

²米施利米雅的長子是撒迦利亞，次子是耶疊，三子是西巴第雅，四子是耶提聶，Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

³五子是以攔，六子是約哈難，七子是以利約乃。Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Eliehoenai the seventh.

⁴俄別‧以東的長子是示瑪雅，次子是約薩拔，三子是約亞，四子是沙甲，五子是拿坦業，And Obed-edom also had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

⁵六子是亞米利，七子是以薩迦，八子是毘烏利太，因為　神賜福與俄別‧以東。Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth. For God had blessed Obed-edom.

⁶他的兒子示瑪雅有幾個兒子，都是大能的壯士，掌管父親的家。Also to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their families because they were strong, capable men.

⁷示瑪雅的兒子是俄得尼、利法益、俄備得、以利薩巴。以利薩巴的弟兄是壯士，還有以利戶和西瑪迦。Shemaiah’s sons were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his brothers were Elihu and Semachiah, also capable men.

⁸這都是俄別‧以東的子孫，他們和他們的兒子並弟兄，都是善於辦事的壯士。俄別‧以東的子孫共六十二人。All these were descendants of Obed-edom; they and their sons and brothers were capable men with strength to do the work—62 in all from Obed-edom.

⁹米施利米雅的兒子和弟兄都是壯士，共十八人。Meshelemiah also had sons and brothers who were capable men—18 in all.

¹⁰米拉利子孫何薩有幾個兒子：長子是申利，他原不是長子，是他父親立他作長子。Hosah the Merarite also had sons: Shimri the first (although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him as the first),

¹¹次子是希勒家，三子是底巴利雅，四子是撒迦利亞。何薩的兒子並弟兄共十三人。Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth. The sons and brothers of Hosah numbered 13 in all.

掣籤分守各門

¹²這些人都是守門的班長，與他們的弟兄一同在耶和華殿裡按班供職。These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their chief men, had duties for ministering in the house of the LORD, just as their relatives did.

¹³他們無論大小，都按著宗族掣籤分守各門。They cast lots for each gate, according to their families, young and old alike.

¹⁴掣籤守東門的是示利米雅；他的兒子撒迦利亞是精明的謀士，掣籤守北門。The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him.

¹⁵俄別‧以東守南門，他的兒子守庫房。The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-edom, and the lot for the storehouses to his sons.

¹⁶書聘與何薩守西門，在靠近沙利基門、通著往上去的街道上，班與班相對。The lots for the West Gate and the Shallecheth Gate on the ascending highway fell to Shuppim and Hosah. There were guards stationed at every watch.

¹⁷每日東門有六個利未人，北門有四個，南門有四個，庫房有兩個，又有兩個輪班替換。Each day there were six Levites on the east, four on the north, four on the south, and two pairs at the storehouse.

¹⁸在西面街道上有四個，在遊廊上有兩個。As for the court on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the court.

¹⁹以上是可拉子孫和米拉利子孫守門的班次。These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari.

掌管府庫和聖物

²⁰利未子孫中有亞希雅掌管　神殿的府庫和聖物的府庫。Now their fellow Levites were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated things.

²¹革順族、拉但子孫裡，作族長的是革順族拉但的子孫耶希伊利。From the descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and heads of the families of Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli,

²²耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他兄弟約珥掌管耶和華殿裡的府庫。the sons of Jehieli, Zetham, and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the LORD.

²³暗蘭族、以斯哈族、希伯倫族、烏泄族也有職分。From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

²⁴摩西的孫子、革舜的兒子細布業掌管府庫。Shebuel, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.

²⁵還有他的弟兄以利以謝。以利以謝的兒子是利哈比雅；利哈比雅的兒子是耶篩亞；耶篩亞的兒子是約蘭；約蘭的兒子是細基利；細基利的兒子是示羅密。His relatives through Eliezer included Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

²⁶這示羅密和他的弟兄掌管府庫的聖物，就是大衛王和眾族長、千夫長、百夫長，並軍長所分別為聖的物。This Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and by the army commanders.

²⁷他們將爭戰時所奪的財物分別為聖，以備修造耶和華的殿。They had dedicated some of the plunder from their battles to the repair of the house of the LORD.

²⁸先見撒母耳、基士的兒子掃羅、尼珥的兒子押尼珥、洗魯雅的兒子約押所分別為聖的物都歸示羅密和他的弟兄掌管。Everything that had been dedicated by Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, along with everything else that was dedicated, was under the care of Shelomith and his brothers.

管理以色列外事的官長

²⁹以斯哈族有基拿尼雅和他眾子作官長和士師，管理以色列的外事。From the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons had the outside duties as officers and judges over Israel.

³⁰希伯倫族有哈沙比雅和他弟兄一千七百人，都是壯士，在約旦河西、以色列地辦理耶和華與王的事。From the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had charge of the affairs of Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the service of the king.

³¹希伯倫族中有耶利雅作族長。大衛作王第四十年，在基列的雅謝，從這族中尋得大能的勇士。As for the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to the genealogies of his ancestors. In the fortieth year of David’s reign the records were searched, and strong, capable men were found among the Hebronites at Jazer in Gilead.

³²耶利雅的弟兄有二千七百人，都是壯士，且作族長；大衛王派他們在流便支派、迦得支派、瑪拿西半支派中辦理　神和王的事。Among Jerijah’s relatives there were 2,700 capable men who were heads of families. King David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.

公會認出他們跟過耶穌

¹³他們見彼得、約翰的膽量，又看出他們原是沒有學問的小民，就希奇，認明他們是跟過耶穌的；When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they marveled and took note that these men had been with Jesus.

¹⁴又看見那治好了的人和他們一同站著，就無話可駁。And seeing the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in response.

公會禁止奉耶穌的名講論

¹⁵於是吩咐他們從公會出去，就彼此商議說：So they ordered them to leave the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.

¹⁶「我們當怎樣辦這兩個人呢？因為他們誠然行了一件明顯的神蹟，凡住耶路撒冷的人都知道，我們也不能說沒有。“What shall we do with these men?” they asked. “It is clear to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has occurred through them, and we cannot deny it.

¹⁷惟恐這事越發傳揚在民間，我們必須恐嚇他們，叫他們不再奉這名對人講論。」But to keep this message from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in this name.”

¹⁸於是叫了他們來，禁止他們總不可奉耶穌的名講論教訓人。Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.

聽從神，不聽從人

¹⁹彼得、約翰說：「聽從你們，不聽從神，這在　神面前合理不合理，你們自己酌量吧！But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than God.

²⁰我們所看見所聽見的，不能不說。」For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

²¹官長為百姓的緣故，想不出法子刑罰他們，又恐嚇一番，把他們釋放了。這是因眾人為所行的奇事都歸榮耀與　神。After further threats they let them go. They could not find a way to punish them, because all the people were glorifying God for what had happened.

²²原來藉著神蹟醫好的那人有四十多歲了。For the man who was miraculously healed was over forty years old.

信徒同心禱告

²³二人既被釋放，就到會友那裡去，把祭司長和長老所說的話都告訴他們。On their release, Peter and John returned to their own people and reported everything that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

²⁴他們聽見了，就同心合意地高聲向　神說：「主啊！你是造天、地、海，和其中萬物的，When the believers heard this, they lifted up their voices to God with one accord. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “You made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them.

²⁵你曾藉著聖靈，託你僕人─我們祖宗大衛的口，說：外邦為甚麼爭鬧？萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant, our father David: ‘Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?

²⁶世上的君王一齊起來，臣宰也聚集，要敵擋主，並主的受膏者（或譯：基督）。The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against His Anointed One.’

^29–30他們恐嚇我們，現在求主鑒察，一面叫你僕人大放膽量講你的道，一面伸出你的手來醫治疾病，並且使神蹟奇事因著你聖僕（僕：或譯子）耶穌的名行出來。」And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness, as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”

地方震動，眾人被聖靈充滿

³¹禱告完了，聚會的地方震動，他們就都被聖靈充滿，放膽講論　神的道。After they had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
