猶大的兒子

³猶大的兒子是珥、俄南、示拉，這三人是迦南人書亞女兒所生的。猶大的長子珥在耶和華眼中看為惡，耶和華就使他死了。The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death.

希斯崙的後代：從蘭到大衛

⁹希斯崙所生的兒子是耶拉篾、蘭、基路拜。The sons who were born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.

¹⁰蘭生亞米拿達；亞米拿達生拿順。拿順作猶大人的首領。Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, a leader of the descendants of Judah.

¹¹拿順生撒門；撒門生波阿斯；Nahshon was the father of Salmon, and Salmon was the father of Boaz.

¹²波阿斯生俄備得；俄備得生耶西；Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.

¹³耶西生長子以利押，次子亞比拿達，三子示米亞（示米亞就是沙瑪，見撒母耳上十六章九節），Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,

¹⁴四子拿坦業，五子拉代，Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,

¹⁵六子阿鮮，七子大衛。Ozem sixth, and David seventh.

¹⁶他們的姊妹是洗魯雅和亞比該。洗魯雅的兒子是亞比篩、約押、亞撒黑，共三人。Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

¹⁷亞比該生亞瑪撒；亞瑪撒的父親是以實瑪利人益帖。Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

迦勒的後代

¹⁸希斯崙的兒子迦勒娶阿蘇巴和耶略為妻，阿蘇巴的兒子是耶設、朔罷、押墩。Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Azubah: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

¹⁹阿蘇巴死了，迦勒又娶以法他，生了戶珥。When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore to him Hur.

²⁰戶珥生烏利；烏利生比撒列。Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.

希斯崙的其他後代

²¹希斯崙正六十歲娶了基列父親瑪吉的女兒，與她同房；瑪吉的女兒生了西割；Later, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Segub.

²²西割生睚珥。睚珥在基列地有二十三個城邑。Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

²³後來基述人和亞蘭人奪了睚珥的城邑，並基納和其鄉村，共六十個。這都是基列父親瑪吉之子的。But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth-jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Machir the father of Gilead.

²⁴希斯崙在迦勒‧以法他死後，他的妻亞比雅給他生了亞施戶；亞施戶是提哥亞的父親。After Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

耶拉篾的後代

²⁵希斯崙的長子耶拉篾生長子蘭，又生布拿、阿連、阿鮮、亞希雅。The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

²⁶耶拉篾又娶一妻名叫亞她拉，是阿南的母親。Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.

²⁷耶拉篾長子蘭的兒子是瑪斯、雅憫、以結。The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

²⁸阿南的兒子是沙買、雅大。沙買的兒子是拿答、亞比述。The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

²⁹亞比述的妻名叫亞比孩，亞比孩給他生了亞辦和摩利。Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.

³⁰拿答的兒子是西列、亞遍；西列死了沒有兒子。The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.

³¹亞遍的兒子是以示；以示的兒子是示珊；示珊的兒子是亞來。The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

³²沙買兄弟雅大的兒子是益帖、約拿單；益帖死了沒有兒子。The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.

³³約拿單的兒子是比勒、撒薩。這都是耶拉篾的子孫。The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

³⁴示珊沒有兒子，只有女兒。示珊有一個僕人名叫耶哈，是埃及人。Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. He also had an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

³⁵示珊將女兒給了僕人耶哈為妻，給他生了亞太。Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Attai.

³⁶亞太生拿單；拿單生撒拔；Attai was the father of Nathan, Nathan was the father of Zabad,

³⁷撒拔生以弗拉；以弗拉生俄備得；Zabad was the father of Ephlal, Ephlal was the father of Obed,

³⁸俄備得生耶戶；耶戶生亞撒利雅；Obed was the father of Jehu, Jehu was the father of Azariah,

³⁹亞撒利雅生希利斯；希利斯生以利亞薩；Azariah was the father of Helez, Helez was the father of Elasah,

⁴⁰以利亞薩生西斯買；西斯買生沙龍；Elasah was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Shallum,

⁴¹沙龍生耶加米雅；耶加米雅生以利沙瑪。Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

迦勒的其他後代

⁴²耶拉篾兄弟迦勒的長子米沙，是西弗之祖瑪利沙的兒子，是希伯崙之祖。The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and Mareshah his second son, who was the father of Hebron.

⁴³希伯崙的兒子是可拉、他普亞、利肯、示瑪。The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

⁴⁴示瑪生拉含，是約干之祖。利肯生沙買。Shema was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem was the father of Shammai.

⁴⁵沙買的兒子是瑪雲；瑪雲是伯‧夙之祖。The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

⁴⁶迦勒的妾以法生哈蘭、摩撒、迦謝；哈蘭生迦卸。Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

⁴⁷〈雅代的兒子是利健、約坦、基珊、毘力、以法、沙亞弗。〉The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

⁴⁸迦勒的妾瑪迦生示別、特哈拿，Caleb’s concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.

⁴⁹又生麥瑪拿之祖沙亞弗、抹比拿和基比亞之祖示法。迦勒的女兒是押撒。She was also the mother of Shaaph father of Madmannah, and of Sheva father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Acsah.

⁵⁰迦勒的子孫就是以法他的長子、戶珥的兒子，記在下面：基列‧耶琳之祖朔巴，These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,

⁵¹伯利恆之祖薩瑪，伯迦得之祖哈勒。Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

⁵²基列‧耶琳之祖朔巴的子孫是哈羅以和一半米努‧哈人（米努‧哈人就是瑪拿哈人）。These were the descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half the Manahathites,

⁵³基列‧耶琳的諸族是以帖人、布特人、舒瑪人、密來人，又從這些族中生出瑣拉人和以實陶人來。and the clans of Kiriath-jearim—the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.

⁵⁴薩瑪的子孫是伯利恆人、尼陀法人、亞他綠‧伯‧約押人、一半瑪拿哈人、瑣利人，The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

⁵⁵和住雅比斯眾文士家的特拉人、示米押人、蘇甲人。這都是基尼人利甲家之祖哈末所生的。and the clans of the scribes who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.

大衛在希伯崙所生的兒子

¹大衛在希伯崙所生的兒子記在下面：長子暗嫩是耶斯列人亞希暖生的。次子但以利是迦密人亞比該生的。These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;

²三子押沙龍是基述王達買的女兒瑪迦生的。四子亞多尼雅是哈及生的。the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;

³五子示法提雅是亞比她生的。六子以特念是大衛的妻以格拉生的。the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.

大衛在耶路撒冷所生的兒子

⁵大衛在耶路撒冷所生的兒子是示米亞、朔罷、拿單、所羅門。這四人是亞米利的女兒拔‧書亞生的。and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.

⁷挪迦、尼斐、雅非亞、Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

⁸以利沙瑪、以利雅大、以利法列，共九人。Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet—nine in all.

從所羅門到約西亞的列王

¹⁰所羅門的兒子是羅波安；羅波安的兒子是亞比雅；亞比雅的兒子是亞撒；亞撒的兒子是約沙法；Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

被擄以後的王室後裔

¹⁷耶哥尼雅被擄。他的兒子是撒拉鐵、The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,

¹⁸瑪基蘭、毘大雅、示拿薩、耶加米、何沙瑪、尼大比雅。Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

²⁴以利約乃的兒子是何大雅、以利亞實、毘萊雅、阿谷、約哈難、第萊雅、阿拿尼，共七人。The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.

¹猶大的兒子是法勒斯、希斯崙、迦米、戶珥、朔巴。The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal.

²朔巴的兒子利亞雅生雅哈；雅哈生亞戶買和拉哈。這是瑣拉人的諸族。Reaiah son of Shobal was the father of Jahath, and Jahath was the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the Zorathites.

⁸哥斯生亞諾、瑣比巴，並哈崙兒子亞哈黑的諸族。and Koz, who was the father of Anub and Zobebah and of the clans of Aharhel son of Harum.

雅比斯的禱告

⁹雅比斯比他眾弟兄更尊貴，他母親給他起名叫雅比斯，意思說：我生他甚是痛苦。Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

¹⁰雅比斯求告以色列的　神說：「甚願你賜福與我，擴張我的境界，常與我同在，保佑我不遭患難，不受艱苦。」　神就應允他所求的。And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only You would bless me and enlarge my territory! May Your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted the request of Jabez.

其他宗族與匠人

¹¹書哈的弟兄基綠生米黑，米黑是伊施屯之祖。Chelub the brother of Shuhah was the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.

¹²伊施屯生伯拉巴、巴西亞，並珥拿轄之祖提欣拿，這都是利迦人。Eshton was the father of Beth-rapha, of Paseah, and of Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These were the men of Recah.

¹³基納斯的兒子是俄陀聶、西萊雅。俄陀聶的兒子是哈塔。The sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.

¹⁴憫挪太生俄弗拉；西萊雅生革‧夏納欣人之祖約押。他們都是匠人。Meonothai was the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah was the father of Joab, the father of those living in Ge-harashim, which was given this name because its people were craftsmen.

¹⁵耶孚尼的兒子是迦勒；迦勒的兒子是以路、以拉、拿安。以拉的兒子是基納斯。The sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam. The son of Elah: Kenaz.

¹⁶耶哈利勒的兒子是西弗、西法、提利、亞撒列。The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.

^17–18以斯拉的兒子是益帖、米列、以弗、雅倫。米列娶法老女兒比提雅為妻，生米利暗、沙買，和以實提摩之祖益巴。米列又娶猶大女子為妻，生基多之祖雅列，梭哥之祖希伯，和撒挪亞之祖耶古鐵。The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. And Mered’s wife Bithiah gave birth to Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa. These were the children of Pharaoh’s daughter Bithiah. Mered also took a Judean wife, who gave birth to Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.

¹⁹荷第雅的妻是拿含的妹子，她所生的兒子是迦米人基伊拉和瑪迦人以實提摩之祖。The sons of Hodiah’s wife, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and of Eshtemoa the Maacathite.

²⁰示門的兒子是暗嫩、林拿、便‧哈南、提倫。以示的兒子是梭黑與便‧梭黑。The sons of Shimon: Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. The descendants of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben-zoheth.

²¹猶大的兒子是示拉；示拉的兒子是利迦之祖珥，瑪利沙之祖拉大，和屬亞實比族織細麻布的各家。The sons of Shelah son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah and the clans of the linen workers at Beth-ashbea,

²²還有約敬、哥西巴人、約阿施、薩拉，就是在摩押地掌權的，又有雅叔比利恆。這都是古時所記載的。Jokim, the men of Cozeba, and Joash and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and Jashubi-lehem. (These names are from ancient records.)

²³這些人都是窯匠，是尼他應和基低拉的居民；與王同處，為王做工。These were the potters who lived at Netaim and Gederah. They lived there in the service of the king.

我查不出他有甚麼罪來

³⁸彼拉多說：「真理是甚麼呢？」說了這話，又出來到猶太人那裡，對他們說：「我查不出他有甚麼罪來。“What is truth?” Pilate asked. And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and told them, “I find no basis for a charge against Him.

不要這人，要巴拉巴

³⁹但你們有個規矩，在逾越節要我給你們釋放一個人，你們要我給你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」But it is your custom that I release to you one prisoner at the Passover. So then, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”

⁴⁰他們又喊著說：「不要這人，要巴拉巴！」這巴拉巴是個強盜。“Not this man,” they shouted, “but Barabbas!” (Now Barabbas was an insurrectionist.)

鞭打和戲弄

¹當下彼拉多將耶穌鞭打了。Then Pilate took Jesus and had Him flogged.

²兵丁用荊棘編做冠冕戴在他頭上，給他穿上紫袍，The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns, set it on His head, and dressed Him in a purple robe.

³又挨近他，說：「恭喜，猶太人的王啊！」他們就用手掌打他。And they went up to Him again and again, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and slapping Him in the face.

你們看這個人

⁴彼拉多又出來對眾人說：「我帶他出來見你們，叫你們知道我查不出他有甚麼罪來。」Once again Pilate came out and said to the Jews, “Look, I am bringing Him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against Him.”

⁵耶穌出來，戴著荊棘冠冕，穿著紫袍。彼拉多對他們說：「你們看這個人！」When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”

⁶祭司長和差役看見他，就喊著說：「釘他十字架！釘他十字架！」彼拉多說：「你們自己把他釘十字架吧！我查不出他有甚麼罪來。」As soon as the chief priests and officers saw Him, they shouted, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!” “You take Him and crucify Him,” Pilate replied, “for I find no basis for a charge against Him.”

⁷猶太人回答說：「我們有律法，按那律法，他是該死的，因他以自己為　神的兒子。」“We have a law,” answered the Jews, “and according to that law He must die, because He declared Himself to be the Son of God.”

彼拉多越發害怕

⁸彼拉多聽見這話，越發害怕，When Pilate heard this statement, he was even more afraid,

⁹又進衙門，對耶穌說：「你是哪裡來的？」耶穌卻不回答。and he went back into the Praetorium. “Where are You from?” he asked. But Jesus gave no answer.

¹⁰彼拉多說：「你不對我說話嗎？你豈不知我有權柄釋放你，也有權柄把你釘十字架嗎？」So Pilate said to Him, “Do You refuse to speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You and authority to crucify You?”

¹¹耶穌回答說：「若不是從上頭賜給你的，你就毫無權柄辦我。所以，把我交給你的那人罪更重了。」Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed Me over to you is guilty of greater sin.”

凱撒的忠臣

¹²從此，彼拉多想要釋放耶穌，無奈猶太人喊著說：「你若釋放這個人，就不是凱撒的忠臣（原文是朋友）。凡以自己為王的，就是背叛凱撒了。」From then on, Pilate tried to release Him, but the Jews kept shouting, “If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who declares himself a king is defying Caesar.”

坐堂判決，交出去釘十字架

¹³彼拉多聽見這話，就帶耶穌出來，到了一個地方，名叫「鋪華石處」，希伯來話叫厄巴大，就在那裡坐堂。When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat on the judgment seat at a place called the Stone Pavement, which in Hebrew is Gabbatha.

¹⁴那日是預備逾越節的日子，約有午正。彼拉多對猶太人說：「看哪，這是你們的王！」It was the day of Preparation for the Passover, about the sixth hour. And Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your King!”
