第四災：成群的蒼蠅

²⁰耶和華對摩西說：「你清早起來，法老來到水邊，你站在他面前，對他說：『耶和華這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, and when Pharaoh goes out to the water, stand before him and tell him that this is what the LORD says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.

²¹你若不容我的百姓去，我要叫成群的蒼蠅到你和你臣僕並你百姓的身上，進你的房屋，並且埃及人的房屋和他們所住的地都要滿了成群的蒼蠅。But if you will not let My people go, I will send swarms of flies upon you and your officials and your people and your houses. The houses of the Egyptians and even the ground where they stand will be full of flies.

²²當那日，我必分別我百姓所住的歌珊地，使那裡沒有成群的蒼蠅，好叫你知道我是天下的耶和華。But on that day I will give special treatment to the land of Goshen, where My people live; no swarms of flies will be found there. In this way you will know that I, the LORD, am in the land.

²³我要將我的百姓和你的百姓分別出來。明天必有這神蹟。』」I will make a distinction between My people and your people. This sign will take place tomorrow.’”

²⁴耶和華就這樣行。蒼蠅成了大群，進入法老的宮殿，和他臣僕的房屋；埃及遍地就因這成群的蒼蠅敗壞了。And the LORD did so. Thick swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh’s palace and into the houses of his officials. Throughout Egypt the land was ruined by swarms of flies.

法老要他們在這地祭祀

²⁵法老召了摩西、亞倫來，說：「你們去，在這地祭祀你們的　神吧！」Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God within this land.”

²⁶摩西說：「這樣行本不相宜，因為我們要把埃及人所厭惡的祭祀耶和華─我們的　神；若把埃及人所厭惡的在他們眼前獻為祭，他們豈不拿石頭打死我們嗎？But Moses replied, “It would not be right to do that, because the sacrifices we offer to the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. If we offer sacrifices that are detestable before the Egyptians, will they not stone us?

²⁷我們要往曠野去，走三天的路程，照著耶和華─我們　神所要吩咐我們的祭祀他。」We must make a three-day journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God as He commands us.”

²⁸法老說：「我容你們去，在曠野祭祀耶和華─你們的　神；只是不要走得很遠。求你們為我祈禱。」Pharaoh answered, “I will let you go and sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.”

²⁹摩西說：「我要出去求耶和華，使成群的蒼蠅明天離開法老和法老的臣僕並法老的百姓；法老卻不可再行詭詐，不容百姓去祭祀耶和華。」“As soon as I leave you,” Moses said, “I will pray to the LORD, so that tomorrow the swarms of flies will depart from Pharaoh and his officials and his people. But Pharaoh must not act deceitfully again by refusing to let the people go and sacrifice to the LORD.”

³⁰於是摩西離開法老去求耶和華。Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,

³¹耶和華就照摩西的話行，叫成群的蒼蠅離開法老和他的臣僕並他的百姓，一個也沒有留下。and the LORD did as Moses requested. He removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not one fly remained.

³²這一次法老又硬著心，不容百姓去。But Pharaoh hardened his heart this time as well, and he would not let the people go.

第五災：牲畜遭瘟疫

¹耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你進去見法老，對他說：『耶和華─希伯來人的　神這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.

²你若不肯容他們去，仍舊強留他們，But if you continue to restrain them and refuse to let them go,

³耶和華的手加在你田間的牲畜上，就是在馬、驢、駱駝、牛群、羊群上，必有重重的瘟疫。then the hand of the LORD will bring a severe plague on your livestock in the field—on your horses, donkeys, camels, herds, and flocks.

⁴耶和華要分別以色列的牲畜和埃及的牲畜，凡屬以色列人的，一樣都不死。』」But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.’”

⁵耶和華就定了時候，說：「明天耶和華必在此地行這事。」The LORD set a time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”

⁶第二天，耶和華就行這事。埃及的牲畜幾乎都死了，只是以色列人的牲畜，一個都沒有死。And the next day the LORD did just that. All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.

⁷法老打發人去看，誰知以色列人的牲畜連一個都沒有死。法老的心卻是固執，不容百姓去。Pharaoh sent officials and found that none of the livestock of the Israelites had died. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not let the people go.

第六災：起泡的瘡

⁸耶和華吩咐摩西、亞倫說：「你們取幾捧爐灰，摩西要在法老面前向天揚起來。Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the furnace; in the sight of Pharaoh, Moses is to toss it into the air.

⁹這灰要在埃及全地變作塵土，在人身上和牲畜身上成了起泡的瘡。」It will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on man and beast throughout the land.”

¹⁰摩西、亞倫取了爐灰，站在法老面前。摩西向天揚起來，就在人身上和牲畜身上成了起泡的瘡。So they took soot from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. Moses tossed it into the air, and festering boils broke out on man and beast.

¹¹行法術的在摩西面前站立不住，因為在他們身上和一切埃及人身上都有這瘡。The magicians could not stand before Moses, because the boils had broken out on them and on all the Egyptians.

¹²耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不聽他們，正如耶和華對摩西所說的。But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said to Moses.

第七災：冰雹的警告

¹³耶和華對摩西說：「你清早起來，站在法老面前，對他說：『耶和華─希伯來人的　神這樣說：容我的百姓去，好事奉我。Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, stand before Pharaoh, and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.

¹⁴因為這一次我要叫一切的災殃臨到你和你臣僕並你百姓的身上，叫你知道在普天下沒有像我的。Otherwise, I will send all My plagues against you and your officials and your people, so you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.

¹⁵我若伸手用瘟疫攻擊你和你的百姓，你早就從地上除滅了。For by this time I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the earth.

¹⁶其實，我叫你存立，是特要向你顯我的大能，並要使我的名傳遍天下。But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power to you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

¹⁷你還向我的百姓自高，不容他們去嗎？Still, you lord it over My people and do not allow them to go.

¹⁸到明天約在這時候，我必叫重大的冰雹降下，自從埃及開國以來，沒有這樣的冰雹。Behold, at this time tomorrow I will rain down the worst hail that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded until now.

¹⁹現在你要打發人把你的牲畜和你田間一切所有的催進來；凡在田間不收回家的，無論是人是牲畜，冰雹必降在他們身上，他們就必死。』」So give orders now to shelter your livestock and everything you have in the field. Every man or beast that remains in the field and is not brought inside will die when the hail comes down upon them.’”

²⁰法老的臣僕中，懼怕耶和華這話的，便叫他的奴僕和牲畜跑進家來。Those among Pharaoh’s officials who feared the word of the LORD hurried to bring their servants and livestock to shelter,

²¹但那不把耶和華這話放在心上的，就將他的奴僕和牲畜留在田裡。but those who disregarded the word of the LORD left their servants and livestock in the field.

冰雹降在埃及遍地

²²耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及遍地的人身上和牲畜身上，並田間各樣菜蔬上，都有冰雹。」Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that hail may fall on all the land of Egypt—on man and beast and every plant of the field throughout the land of Egypt.”

²³摩西向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火閃到地上；耶和華下雹在埃及地上。So Moses stretched out his staff toward heaven, and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning struck the earth. So the LORD rained down hail upon the land of Egypt.

²⁴那時，雹與火攙雜，甚是厲害，自從埃及成國以來，遍地沒有這樣的。The hail fell and the lightning continued flashing through it. The hail was so severe that nothing like it had ever been seen in all the land of Egypt from the time it became a nation.

²⁵在埃及遍地，雹擊打了田間所有的人和牲畜，並一切的菜蔬，又打壞田間一切的樹木。Throughout the land of Egypt, the hail struck down everything in the field, both man and beast; it beat down every plant of the field and stripped every tree.

²⁶惟獨以色列人所住的歌珊地沒有冰雹。The only place where it did not hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites lived.

法老認罪又反悔

²⁷法老打發人召摩西、亞倫來，對他們說：「這一次我犯了罪了。耶和華是公義的；我和我的百姓是邪惡的。Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron. “This time I have sinned,” he said. “The LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

²⁸這雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。請你們求耶和華，我就容你們去，不再留住你們。」Pray to the LORD, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go; you do not need to stay any longer.”

²⁹摩西對他說：「我一出城，就要向耶和華舉手禱告；雷必止住，也不再有冰雹，叫你知道全地都是屬耶和華的。Moses said to him, “When I have left the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the earth is the LORD’s.

³⁰至於你和你的臣僕，我知道你們還是不懼怕耶和華　神。」But as for you and your officials, I know that you still do not fear the LORD our God.”

³¹（那時，麻和大麥被雹擊打；因為大麥已經吐穗，麻也開了花。(Now the flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley was ripe and the flax was in bloom;

³²只是小麥和粗麥沒有被擊打，因為還沒有長成。）but the wheat and spelt were not destroyed, because they are late crops.)

³³摩西離了法老出城，向耶和華舉手禱告；雷和雹就止住，雨也不再澆在地上了。Then Moses departed from Pharaoh, went out of the city, and spread out his hands to the LORD. The thunder and hail ceased, and the rain no longer poured down on the land.

³⁴法老見雨和雹與雷止住，就越發犯罪；他和他的臣僕都硬著心。When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart—he and his officials.

³⁵法老的心剛硬，不容以色列人去，正如耶和華藉著摩西所說的。So Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not let the Israelites go, just as the LORD had said through Moses.

第八災：蝗蟲的警告

¹耶和華對摩西說：「你進去見法老。我使他和他臣僕的心剛硬，為要在他們中間顯我這些神蹟，Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials, that I may perform these miraculous signs of Mine among them,

²並要叫你將我向埃及人所做的事，和在他們中間所行的神蹟，傳於你兒子和你孫子的耳中，好叫你們知道我是耶和華。」and that you may tell your children and grandchildren how severely I dealt with the Egyptians when I performed miraculous signs among them, so that all of you may know that I am the LORD.”

³摩西、亞倫就進去見法老，對他說：「耶和華─希伯來人的　神這樣說：『你在我面前不肯自卑要到幾時呢？容我的百姓去，好事奉我。So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and told him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.

⁴你若不肯容我的百姓去，明天我要使蝗蟲進入你的境內，But if you refuse to let My people go, I will bring locusts into your territory tomorrow.

⁵遮滿地面，甚至看不見地，並且吃那冰雹所剩的和田間所長的一切樹木。They will cover the face of the land so that no one can see it. They will devour whatever is left after the hail and eat every tree that grows in your fields.

⁶你的宮殿和你眾臣僕的房屋，並一切埃及人的房屋，都要被蝗蟲佔滿了；自從你祖宗和你祖宗的祖宗在世以來，直到今日，沒有見過這樣的災。』」摩西就轉身離開法老出去。They will fill your houses and the houses of all your officials and every Egyptian—something neither your fathers nor your grandfathers have seen since the day they came into this land.’” Then Moses turned and left Pharaoh’s presence.

臣僕勸法老放人

⁷法老的臣僕對法老說：「這人為我們的網羅要到幾時呢？容這些人去事奉耶和華─他們的　神吧！埃及已經敗壞了，你還不知道嗎？」Pharaoh’s officials asked him, “How long will this man be a snare to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the LORD their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt lies in ruins?”

⁸於是摩西、亞倫被召回來見法老；法老對他們說：「你們去事奉耶和華─你們的　神；但那要去的是誰呢？」So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship the LORD your God,” he said. “But who exactly will be going?”

⁹摩西說：「我們要和我們老的少的、兒子女兒同去，且把羊群牛群一同帶去，因為我們務要向耶和華守節。」“We will go with our young and old,” Moses replied. “We will go with our sons and daughters, and with our flocks and herds, for we must hold a feast to the LORD.”

¹⁰法老對他們說：「我容你們和你們婦人孩子去的時候，耶和華與你們同在吧！你們要謹慎；因為有禍在你們眼前（或譯：你們存著惡意），Then Pharaoh told them, “May the LORD be with you if I ever let you go with your little ones. Clearly you are bent on evil.

¹¹不可都去！你們這壯年人去事奉耶和華吧，因為這是你們所求的。」於是把他們從法老面前攆出去。No, only the men may go and worship the LORD, since that is what you have been requesting.” And Moses and Aaron were driven from Pharaoh’s presence.

蝗蟲遮滿地面

¹²耶和華對摩西說：「你向埃及地伸杖，使蝗蟲到埃及地上來，吃地上一切的菜蔬，就是冰雹所剩的。」Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt, so that the locusts may swarm over it and devour every plant in the land—everything that the hail has left behind.”

¹³摩西就向埃及地伸杖，那一晝一夜，耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上；到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲颳了來。So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and throughout that day and night the LORD sent an east wind across the land. By morning the east wind had brought the locusts.

¹⁴蝗蟲上來，落在埃及的四境，甚是厲害；以前沒有這樣的，以後也必沒有。The locusts swarmed across the land and settled over the entire territory of Egypt. Never before had there been so many locusts, and never again will there be.

¹⁵因為這蝗蟲遮滿地面，甚至地都黑暗了，又吃地上一切的菜蔬和冰雹所剩樹上的果子。埃及遍地，無論是樹木，是田間的菜蔬，連一點青的也沒有留下。They covered the face of all the land until it was black, and they consumed all the plants on the ground and all the fruit on the trees that the hail had left behind. Nothing green was left on any tree or plant in all the land of Egypt.

法老求饒，蝗蟲被颳走

¹⁶於是法老急忙召了摩西、亞倫來，說：「我得罪耶和華─你們的　神，又得罪了你們。Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.

¹⁷現在求你，只這一次，饒恕我的罪，求耶和華─你們的　神使我脫離這一次的死亡。」Now please forgive my sin once more and appeal to the LORD your God, that He may remove this death from me.”

¹⁸摩西就離開法老去求耶和華。So Moses left Pharaoh’s presence and appealed to the LORD.

¹⁹耶和華轉了極大的西風，把蝗蟲颳起，吹入紅海；在埃及的四境連一個也沒有留下。And the LORD changed the wind to a very strong west wind that carried off the locusts and blew them into the Red Sea. Not a single locust remained anywhere in Egypt.

²⁰但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不容以色列人去。But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let the Israelites go.

第九災：黑暗

²¹耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；這黑暗似乎摸得著。」Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that darkness may spread over the land of Egypt—a palpable darkness.”

²²摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and total darkness covered all the land of Egypt for three days.

²³三天之久，人不能相見，誰也不敢起來離開本處；惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。No one could see anyone else, and for three days no one left his place. Yet all the Israelites had light in their dwellings.

法老要牲畜留下

²⁴法老就召摩西來，說：「你們去事奉耶和華；只是你們的羊群牛群要留下；你們的婦人孩子可以和你們同去。」Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Go, worship the LORD. Even your little ones may go with you; only your flocks and herds must stay behind.”

²⁵摩西說：「你總要把祭物和燔祭牲交給我們，使我們可以祭祀耶和華─我們的　神。But Moses replied, “You must also provide us with sacrifices and burnt offerings to present to the LORD our God.

²⁶我們的牲畜也要帶去，連一蹄也不留下；因為我們要從其中取出來，事奉耶和華─我們的　神。我們未到那裡，還不知道用甚麼事奉耶和華。」Even our livestock must go with us; not a hoof will be left behind, for we will need some of them to worship the LORD our God, and we will not know how we are to worship the LORD until we arrive.”

²⁷但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不肯容他們去。But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was unwilling to let them go.

不要再見我的面

²⁸法老對摩西說：「你離開我去吧，你要小心，不要再見我的面！因為你見我面的那日你就必死！」“Depart from me!” Pharaoh said to Moses. “Make sure you never see my face again, for on the day you see my face, you will die.”

²⁹摩西說：「你說得好！我必不再見你的面了。」“As you say,” Moses replied, “I will never see your face again.”

耶穌來到約旦河外

¹耶穌說完了這些話，就離開加利利，來到猶太的境界約旦河外。When Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.

²有許多人跟著他，他就在那裡把他們的病人治好了。Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.

法利賽人問休妻的事

³有法利賽人來試探耶穌，說：「人無論甚麼緣故都可以休妻嗎？」Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”

⁴耶穌回答說：「那起初造人的，是造男造女，Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’

⁵並且說：『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。』這經你們沒有念過嗎？and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

摩西為甚麼許人休妻

⁷法利賽人說：「這樣，摩西為甚麼吩咐給妻子休書，就可以休她呢？」“Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”

⁸耶穌說：「摩西因為你們的心硬，所以許你們休妻，但起初並不是這樣。Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart. But it was not this way from the beginning.

⁹我告訴你們，凡休妻另娶的，若不是為淫亂的緣故，就是犯姦淫了；有人娶那被休的婦人，也是犯姦淫了。」Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

為天國的緣故不娶

¹⁰門徒對耶穌說：「人和妻子既是這樣，倒不如不娶。」His disciples said to Him, “If this is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry.”

¹¹耶穌說：「這話不是人都能領受的，惟獨賜給誰，誰才能領受。“Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given.

¹²因為有生來是閹人，也有被人閹的，並有為天國的緣故自閹的。這話誰能領受就可以領受。」For there are eunuchs who were born that way; others were made that way by men; and still others live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

讓小孩子到我這裡來

¹³那時，有人帶著小孩子來見耶穌，要耶穌給他們按手禱告，門徒就責備那些人。Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

¹⁴耶穌說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們；因為在天國的，正是這樣的人。」But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

¹⁵耶穌給他們按手，就離開那地方去了。And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.
