願你裂天而降

¹願你裂天而降；願山在你面前震動─If only You would rend the heavens and come down, so that mountains would quake at Your presence,

²好像火燒乾柴，又像火將水燒開，使你敵人知道你的名，使列國在你面前發顫！as fire kindles the brushwood and causes the water to boil, to make Your name known to Your enemies, so that the nations will tremble at Your presence!

³你曾行我們不能逆料可畏的事。那時你降臨，山嶺在你面前震動。When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled at Your presence.

⁴從古以來，人未曾聽見、未曾耳聞、未曾眼見在你以外有甚麼神為等候他的人行事。From ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

我們的義像污穢的衣服

⁵你迎接那歡喜行義、記念你道的人；你曾發怒，我們仍犯罪；這景況已久，我們還能得救嗎？You welcome those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways. Surely You were angry, for we sinned. How can we be saved if we remain in our sins?

⁶我們都像不潔淨的人；所有的義都像污穢的衣服。我們都像葉子漸漸枯乾；我們的罪孽好像風把我們吹去。Each of us has become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.

⁷並且無人求告你的名；無人奮力抓住你。原來你掩面不顧我們，使我們因罪孽消化。No one calls on Your name or strives to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us and delivered us into the hand of our iniquity.

我們是泥，你是窯匠

⁸耶和華啊，現在你仍是我們的父！我們是泥，你是窯匠；我們都是你手的工作。But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.

⁹耶和華啊，求你不要大發震怒，也不要永遠記念罪孽。求你垂顧我們，我們都是你的百姓。Do not be angry, O LORD, beyond measure; do not remember our iniquity forever. Oh, look upon us, we pray; we are all Your people!

¹⁰你的聖邑變為曠野。錫安變為曠野；耶路撒冷成為荒場。Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wasteland and Jerusalem a desolation.

¹¹我們聖潔華美的殿─就是我們列祖讚美你的所在被火焚燒；我們所羨慕的美地盡都荒廢。Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, has been burned with fire, and all that was dear to us lies in ruins.

¹²耶和華啊，有這些事，你還忍得住嗎？你仍靜默使我們深受苦難嗎？After all this, O LORD, will You restrain Yourself? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure?

神整天向悖逆的百姓伸手

¹素來沒有訪問我的，現在求問我；沒有尋找我的，我叫他們遇見；沒有稱為我名下的，我對他們說：我在這裡！我在這裡！“I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. To a nation that did not call My name, I said, ‘Here I am! Here I am!’

²我整天伸手招呼那悖逆的百姓；他們隨自己的意念行不善之道。All day long I have held out My hands to an obstinate people who walk in the wrong path, who follow their own imaginations,

³這百姓時常當面惹我發怒；在園中獻祭，在壇（原文是磚）上燒香；to a people who continually provoke Me to My face, sacrificing in the gardens and burning incense on altars of brick,

⁴在墳墓間坐著，在隱密處住宿，吃豬肉；他們器皿中有可憎之物做的湯；sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs and polluted broth from their bowls.

⁵且對人說：你站開吧！不要挨近我，因為我比你聖潔。主說：這些人是我鼻中的煙，是整天燒著的火。They say, ‘Keep to yourself; do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’ Such people are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day long.

^6–7看哪，這都寫在我面前。我必不靜默，必施行報應，必將你們的罪孽和你們列祖的罪孽，就是在山上燒香，在岡上褻瀆我的罪孽，一同報應在他們後人懷中，我先要把他們所行的量給他們；這是耶和華說的。Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will pay it back into their laps, both for your iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains and scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps full payment for their former deeds.”

葡萄中尋得新酒

⁸耶和華如此說：葡萄中尋得新酒，人就說：不要毀壞，因為福在其中。我因我僕人的緣故也必照樣而行，不將他們全然毀滅。This is what the LORD says: “As the new wine is found in a cluster of grapes, and men say, ‘Do not destroy it, for it contains a blessing,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants; I will not destroy them all.

⁹我必從雅各中領出後裔，從猶大中領出承受我眾山的。我的選民必承受；我的僕人要在那裡居住。And I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and heirs from Judah; My elect will possess My mountains, and My servants will dwell there.

¹⁰沙崙平原必成為羊群的圈；亞割谷必成為牛群躺臥之處，都為尋求我的民所得。Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.

離棄神的必被殺

¹¹但你們這些離棄耶和華、忘記我的聖山、給時運擺筵席（原文是桌子）、給天命盛滿調和酒的，But you who forsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,

¹²我要命定你們歸在刀下，都必屈身被殺；因為我呼喚，你們沒有答應；我說話，你們沒有聽從；反倒行我眼中看為惡的，揀選我所不喜悅的。I will destine you for the sword, and you will all kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen; you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

僕人與背道者的不同結局

¹³所以，主耶和華如此說：我的僕人必得吃，你們卻飢餓；我的僕人必得喝，你們卻乾渴；我的僕人必歡喜，你們卻蒙羞。Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.

¹⁴我的僕人因心中高興歡呼，你們卻因心中憂愁哀哭，又因心裡憂傷哀號。My servants will shout for joy with a glad heart, but you will cry out with a heavy heart and wail with a broken spirit.

¹⁵你們必留下自己的名，為我選民指著賭咒。主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。You will leave behind your name as a curse for My chosen ones, and the Lord GOD will slay you; but to His servants He will give another name.

¹⁶這樣，在地上為自己求福的，必憑真實的　神求福；在地上起誓的，必指真實的　神起誓。因為，從前的患難已經忘記，也從我眼前隱藏了。Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth, and whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My sight.

新天新地

¹⁷看哪！我造新天新地；從前的事不再被記念，也不再追想。For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

¹⁸你們當因我所造的永遠歡喜快樂；因我造耶路撒冷為人所喜，造其中的居民為人所樂。But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight.

¹⁹我必因耶路撒冷歡喜，因我的百姓快樂；其中必不再聽見哭泣的聲音和哀號的聲音。I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her.

²⁰其中必沒有數日夭亡的嬰孩，也沒有壽數不滿的老者；因為百歲死的仍算孩童，有百歲死的罪人算被咒詛。No longer will a nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

²¹他們要建造房屋，自己居住；栽種葡萄園，吃其中的果子。They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

²²他們建造的，別人不得住；他們栽種的，別人不得吃；因為我民的日子必像樹木的日子；我選民親手勞碌得來的必長久享用。No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

²³他們必不徒然勞碌，所生產的，也不遭災害，因為都是蒙耶和華賜福的後裔；他們的子孫也是如此。They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD—they and their descendants with them.

²⁴他們尚未求告，我就應允；正說話的時候，我就垂聽。Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

²⁵豺狼必與羊羔同食；獅子必吃草與牛一樣；塵土必作蛇的食物。在我聖山的遍處，這一切都不傷人，不害物。這是耶和華說的。The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain,” says the LORD.

天是我的座位

¹耶和華如此說：天是我的座位；地是我的腳凳。你們要為我造何等的殿宇？哪裡是我安息的地方呢？This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? Or where will My place of repose be?

²耶和華說：這一切都是我手所造的，所以就都有了。但我所看顧的，就是虛心（原文是貧窮）痛悔、因我話而戰兢的人。Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being,” declares the LORD. “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.

³假冒為善的宰牛，好像殺人，獻羊羔，好像打折狗項，獻供物，好像獻豬血，燒乳香，好像稱頌偶像。這等人揀選自己的道路，心裡喜悅行可憎惡的事。Whoever slaughters an ox is like one who slays a man; whoever sacrifices a lamb is like one who breaks a dog’s neck; whoever presents a grain offering is like one who offers pig’s blood; whoever offers frankincense is like one who blesses an idol. Indeed, they have chosen their own ways and delighted in their abominations.

⁴我也必揀選迷惑他們的事，使他們所懼怕的臨到他們；因為我呼喚，無人答應；我說話，他們不聽從；反倒行我眼中看為惡的，揀選我所不喜悅的。So I will choose their punishment and I will bring terror upon them, because I called and no one answered, I spoke and no one listened. But they did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

⁵你們因耶和華言語戰兢的人當聽他的話：你們的弟兄─就是恨惡你們，因我名趕出你們的，曾說：願耶和華得榮耀，使我們得見你們的喜樂；但蒙羞的究竟是他們！You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: “Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of My name have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!’ But they will be put to shame.”

⁶有喧嘩的聲音出自城中！有聲音出於殿中！是耶和華向仇敵施行報應的聲音！Hear the uproar from the city; listen to the voice from the temple! It is the voice of the LORD, repaying His enemies what they deserve!

錫安一劬勞便生下兒女

⁷錫安未曾劬勞就生產，未覺疼痛就生出男孩。“Before she was in labor, she gave birth; before she was in pain, she delivered a boy.

⁸國豈能一日而生？民豈能一時而產？因為錫安一劬勞便生下兒女，這樣的事誰曾聽見？誰曾看見呢？Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.

⁹耶和華說：我既使她臨產，豈不使她生產呢？你的　神說：我既使她生產，豈能使她閉胎不生呢？Shall I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD. “Or will I who deliver close the womb?” says your God.

神像母親安慰你們

¹⁰你們愛慕耶路撒冷的都要與她一同歡喜快樂；你們為她悲哀的都要與她一同樂上加樂；Be glad for Jerusalem and rejoice over her, all who love her. Rejoice greatly with her, all who mourn over her,

¹¹使你們在她安慰的懷中吃奶得飽，使他們得她豐盛的榮耀，猶如擠奶，滿心喜樂。so that you may nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you may drink deeply and delight yourselves in her glorious abundance.

¹²耶和華如此說：我要使平安延及她，好像江河，使列國的榮耀延及她，如同漲溢的河。你們要從中享受（原文是咂）；你們必蒙抱在肋旁，搖弄在膝上。For this is what the LORD says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flowing stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm, and bounced upon her knees.

¹³母親怎樣安慰兒子，我就照樣安慰你們；你們也必因（或譯：在）耶路撒冷得安慰。As a mother comforts her son, so will I comfort you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”

¹⁴你們看見，就心中快樂；你們的骨頭必得滋潤像嫩草一樣；而且耶和華的手向他僕人所行的必被人知道；他也要向仇敵發惱恨。When you see, you will rejoice, and you will flourish like grass; then the hand of the LORD will be revealed to His servants, but His wrath will be shown to His enemies.

神在火中降臨

¹⁵看哪，耶和華必在火中降臨；他的車輦像旋風，以烈怒施行報應，以火焰施行責罰；For behold, the LORD will come with fire—His chariots are like a whirlwind—to execute His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.

¹⁶因為耶和華在一切有血氣的人身上，必以火與刀施行審判；被耶和華所殺的必多。For by fire and by His sword, the LORD will execute judgment on all flesh, and many will be slain by the LORD.

¹⁷「那些分別為聖、潔淨自己的，進入園內跟在其中一個人的後頭，吃豬肉和倉鼠並可憎之物，他們必一同滅絕；這是耶和華說的。“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to enter the groves—to follow one in the center of those who eat the flesh of swine and vermin and rats—will perish together,” declares the LORD.

萬民要看見神的榮耀

¹⁸「我知道他們的行為和他們的意念。時候將到，我必將萬民萬族（族：原文是舌）聚來，看見我的榮耀，“And I, knowing their deeds and thoughts, am coming to gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.

¹⁹我要顯神蹟（或譯：記號）在他們中間。逃脫的，我要差到列國去，就是到他施、普勒、拉弓的路德和土巴、雅完，並素來沒有聽見我名聲、沒有看見我榮耀遼遠的海島；他們必將我的榮耀傳揚在列國中。I will establish a sign among them, and I will send survivors from among them to the nations—to Tarshish, Put, and the archers of Lud; to Tubal, Javan, and the islands far away who have not heard of My fame or seen My glory. So they will proclaim My glory among the nations.

²⁰他們必將你們的弟兄從列國中送回，使他們或騎馬，或坐車，坐轎，騎騾子，騎獨峰駝，到我的聖山耶路撒冷，作為供物獻給耶和華，好像以色列人用潔淨的器皿盛供物奉到耶和華的殿中；這是耶和華說的。And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations as a gift to the LORD on horses and chariots and wagons, on mules and camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the LORD, “just as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.”

²¹耶和華說：我也必從他們中間取人為祭司，為利未人。」“And I will select some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD.

²²耶和華說：我所要造的新天新地，怎樣在我面前長存；你們的後裔和你們的名字也必照樣長存。“For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me,” declares the LORD, “so your descendants and your name will endure.

²³每逢月朔、安息日，凡有血氣的必來在我面前下拜。這是耶和華說的。From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.

²⁴他們必出去觀看那些違背我人的屍首；因為他們的蟲是不死的；他們的火是不滅的；凡有血氣的都必憎惡他們。“As they go forth, they will see the corpses of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never be quenched, and they will be a horror to all mankind.”

主的日子像夜間的賊

¹弟兄們，論到時候、日期，不用寫信給你們，Now about the times and seasons, brothers, we do not need to write to you.

²因為你們自己明明曉得，主的日子來到，好像夜間的賊一樣。For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

³人正說「平安穩妥」的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同產難臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕不能逃脫。While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

作光明之子，警醒謹守

⁴弟兄們，你們卻不在黑暗裡，叫那日子臨到你們像賊一樣。But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.

⁵你們都是光明之子，都是白晝之子。我們不是屬黑夜的，也不是屬幽暗的。For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

⁶所以，我們不要睡覺像別人一樣，總要警醒謹守。So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober.

⁷因為睡了的人是在夜間睡，醉了的人是在夜間醉。For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.

⁸但我們既然屬乎白晝，就應當謹守，把信和愛當作護心鏡遮胸，把得救的盼望當作頭盔戴上。But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.

⁹因為　神不是預定我們受刑，乃是預定我們藉著我們主耶穌基督得救。For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰他替我們死，叫我們無論醒著，睡著，都與他同活。He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.

¹¹所以，你們該彼此勸慰，互相建立，正如你們素常所行的。Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.

敬重領袖，彼此和睦

¹²弟兄們，我們勸你們敬重那在你們中間勞苦的人，就是在主裡面治理你們、勸戒你們的；But we ask you, brothers, to acknowledge those who work diligently among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you.

¹³又因他們所做的工，用愛心格外尊重他們。你們也要彼此和睦。In love, hold them in highest regard because of their work. Live in peace with one another.

¹⁴我們又勸弟兄們，要警戒不守規矩的人，勉勵灰心的人，扶助軟弱的人，也要向眾人忍耐。And we urge you, brothers, to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.

¹⁵你們要謹慎，無論是誰都不可以惡報惡；或是彼此相待，或是待眾人，常要追求良善。Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Always pursue what is good for one another and for all people.

常常喜樂，不住禱告

¹⁶要常常喜樂，Rejoice at all times.

¹⁷不住地禱告，Pray without ceasing.

¹⁸凡事謝恩；因為這是　神在基督耶穌裡向你們所定的旨意。Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

不要消滅聖靈的感動

¹⁹不要消滅聖靈的感動；Do not extinguish the Spirit.

²⁰不要藐視先知的講論。Do not treat prophecies with contempt,

²¹但要凡事察驗；善美的要持守，but test all things. Hold fast to what is good.

²²各樣的惡事要禁戒不做。Abstain from every form of evil.

願神使你們全然成聖

²³願賜平安的　神親自使你們全然成聖！又願你們的靈與魂與身子得蒙保守，在我們主耶穌基督降臨的時候，完全無可指摘！Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴那召你們的本是信實的，他必成就這事。The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.

最後的問安

²⁵請弟兄們為我們禱告。Brothers, pray for us as well.

²⁶與眾弟兄親嘴問安，務要聖潔。Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

²⁷我指著主囑咐你們，要把這信念給眾弟兄聽。I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers.

²⁸願我主耶穌基督的恩常與你們同在！The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
