掣籤遷入耶路撒冷

¹百姓的首領住在耶路撒冷。其餘的百姓掣籤，每十人中使一人來住在聖城耶路撒冷，那九人住在別的城邑。Now the leaders of the people settled in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to live in the holy city of Jerusalem, while the remaining nine were to dwell in their own towns.

²凡甘心樂意住在耶路撒冷的，百姓都為他們祝福。And the people blessed all the men who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.

住在耶路撒冷的猶大人和便雅憫人

¹⁸在聖城的利未人共二百八十四名。The Levites in the holy city totaled 284.

¹⁹守門的是亞谷和達們，並守門的弟兄，共一百七十二名。And the gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their associates, who kept watch at the gates—172 men.

改道經馬其頓回去

⁵這些人先走，在特羅亞等候我們。These men went on ahead and waited for us in Troas.

⁶過了除酵的日子，我們從腓立比開船，五天到了特羅亞，和他們相會，在那裡住了七天。And after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, we sailed from Philippi, and five days later we rejoined them in Troas, where we stayed seven days.

⁷七日的第一日，我們聚會擘餅的時候，保羅因為要次日起行，就與他們講論，直講到半夜。On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Since Paul was ready to leave the next day, he talked to them and kept on speaking until midnight.

猶推古墜樓又活過來

⁹有一個少年人，名叫猶推古，坐在窗臺上，困倦沉睡。保羅講了多時，少年人睡熟了，就從三層樓上掉下去；扶起他來，已經死了。And a certain young man named Eutychus, seated in the window, was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell from the third story and was picked up dead.

¹⁰保羅下去，伏在他身上，抱著他，說：「你們不要發慌，他的靈魂還在身上。」But Paul went down, threw himself on the young man, and embraced him. “Do not be alarmed!” he said. “He is still alive!”

談論到天亮

¹¹保羅又上去，擘餅，吃了，談論許久，直到天亮，這才走了。Then Paul went back upstairs, broke bread, and ate. And after speaking until daybreak, he departed.

¹²有人把那童子活活地領來，得的安慰不小。And the people were greatly relieved to take the boy home alive.
