約瑟和弟兄相認

¹約瑟在左右站著的人面前情不自禁，吩咐一聲說：「人都要離開我出去！」約瑟和弟兄們相認的時候並沒有一人站在他面前。Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, “Send everyone away from me!” So none of them were with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.

²他就放聲大哭；埃及人和法老家中的人都聽見了。But he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh’s household soon heard of it.

³約瑟對他弟兄們說：「我是約瑟。我的父親還在嗎？」他弟兄不能回答，因為在他面前都驚惶。Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?” But they were unable to answer him, because they were terrified in his presence.

是神差我來保全生命

⁴約瑟又對他弟兄們說：「請你們近前來。」他們就近前來。他說：「我是你們的兄弟約瑟，就是你們所賣到埃及的。Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near me.” And they did so. “I am Joseph, your brother,” he said, “the one you sold into Egypt!

⁵現在，不要因為把我賣到這裡自憂自恨。這是　神差我在你們以先來，為要保全生命。And now, do not be distressed or angry with yourselves that you sold me into this place, because it was to save lives that God sent me before you.

⁶現在這地的饑荒已經二年了，還有五年不能耕種，不能收成。For the famine has covered the land these two years, and there will be five more years without plowing or harvesting.

⁷神差我在你們以先來，為要給你們存留餘種在世上，又要大施拯救，保全你們的生命。God sent me before you to preserve you as a remnant on the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

⁸這樣看來，差我到這裡來的不是你們，乃是　神。他又使我如法老的父，作他全家的主，並埃及全地的宰相。Therefore it was not you who sent me here, but God, who has made me a father to Pharaoh—lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

請父親下到埃及

⁹你們要趕緊上到我父親那裡，對他說：『你兒子約瑟這樣說：　神使我作全埃及的主，請你下到我這裡來，不要耽延。Now return quickly to my father and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me without delay.

¹⁰你和你的兒子孫子，連牛群羊群，並一切所有的，都可以住在歌珊地，與我相近。You shall settle in the land of Goshen and be near me—you and your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and everything you own.

¹¹我要在那裡奉養你；因為還有五年的饑荒，免得你和你的眷屬，並一切所有的，都敗落了。』And there I will provide for you, because there will be five more years of famine. Otherwise, you and your household and everything you own will come to destitution.’

¹²況且你們的眼和我兄弟便雅憫的眼都看見是我親口對你們說話。Behold! You and my brother Benjamin can see that I, Joseph, am the one speaking with you.

¹³你們也要將我在埃及一切的榮耀和你們所看見的事都告訴我父親，又要趕緊地將我父親搬到我這裡來。」Tell my father about all my splendor in Egypt and everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly.”

¹⁴於是約瑟伏在他兄弟便雅憫的頸項上哭，便雅憫也在他的頸項上哭。Then Joseph threw his arms around his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin wept as they embraced.

¹⁵他又與眾弟兄親嘴，抱著他們哭，隨後他弟兄們就和他說話。Joseph kissed each of his brothers as he wept over them. And afterward his brothers talked with him.

法老歡迎雅各全家

¹⁶這風聲傳到法老的宮裡，說：「約瑟的弟兄們來了。」法老和他的臣僕都很喜歡。When the news reached Pharaoh’s house that Joseph’s brothers had come, Pharaoh and his servants were pleased.

¹⁷法老對約瑟說：「你吩咐你的弟兄們說：『你們要這樣行：把馱子抬在牲口上，起身往迦南地去。Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do as follows: Load your animals and return to the land of Canaan.

¹⁸將你們的父親和你們的眷屬都搬到我這裡來，我要把埃及地的美物賜給你們，你們也要吃這地肥美的出產。Then bring your father and your families and return to me. I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you shall eat from the fat of the land.’

¹⁹現在我吩咐你們要這樣行：從埃及地帶著車輛去，把你們的孩子和妻子，並你們的父親都搬來。You are also directed to tell them: ‘Take wagons from the land of Egypt for your young children and your wives, and bring your father and come back.

²⁰你們眼中不要愛惜你們的家具，因為埃及全地的美物都是你們的。』」But pay no regard to your belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’”

約瑟打發弟兄回去

²¹以色列的兒子們就如此行。約瑟照著法老的吩咐給他們車輛和路上用的食物，So the sons of Israel did as they were told. Joseph gave them wagons as Pharaoh had instructed, and he also gave them provisions for their journey.

²²又給他們各人一套衣服，惟獨給便雅憫三百銀子，五套衣服；He gave new garments to each of them, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels of silver and five sets of clothes.

²³送給他父親公驢十匹，馱著埃及的美物，母驢十匹，馱著糧食與餅和菜，為他父親路上用。And he sent to his father the following: ten donkeys loaded with the best of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provisions for his father’s journey.

²⁴於是約瑟打發他弟兄們回去，又對他們說：「你們不要在路上相爭。」Then Joseph sent his brothers on their way, and as they were leaving, he said to them, “Do not quarrel on the way!”

雅各得知約瑟還活著

²⁵他們從埃及上去，來到迦南地、他們的父親雅各那裡，So the brothers went up out of Egypt and came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan.

²⁶告訴他說：「約瑟還在，並且作埃及全地的宰相。」雅各心裡冰涼，因為不信他們。“Joseph is still alive,” they said, “and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” But Jacob was stunned, for he did not believe them.

²⁷他們便將約瑟對他們說的一切話都告訴了他。他們父親雅各又看見約瑟打發來接他的車輛，心就甦醒了。However, when they relayed all that Joseph had told them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him back, the spirit of their father Jacob was revived.

²⁸以色列說：「罷了！罷了！我的兒子約瑟還在，趁我未死以先，我要去見他一面。」“Enough!” declared Israel. “My son Joseph is still alive! I will go to see him before I die.”

神在別是巴向雅各顯現

¹以色列帶著一切所有的，起身來到別是巴，就獻祭給他父親以撒的　神。So Israel set out with all that he had, and when he came to Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

²夜間，　神在異象中對以色列說：「雅各！雅各！」他說：「我在這裡。」And that night God spoke to Israel in a vision: “Jacob, Jacob!” He said. “Here I am,” replied Jacob.

³神說：「我是　神，就是你父親的　神。你下埃及去不要害怕，因為我必使你在那裡成為大族。“I am God,” He said, “the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

⁴我要和你同下埃及去，也必定帶你上來；約瑟必給你送終。」I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will surely bring you back. And Joseph’s own hands will close your eyes.”

雅各全家下埃及

⁵雅各就從別是巴起行。以色列的兒子們使他們的父親雅各和他們的妻子、兒女都坐在法老為雅各送來的車上。Then Jacob departed from Beersheba, and the sons of Israel took their father Jacob in the wagons Pharaoh had sent to carry him, along with their children and wives.

⁶他們又帶著迦南地所得的牲畜、貨財來到埃及。雅各和他的一切子孫都一同來了。They also took the livestock and possessions they had acquired in the land of Canaan, and Jacob and all his offspring went to Egypt.

⁷雅各把他的兒子、孫子、女兒、孫女，並他的子子孫孫，一同帶到埃及。Jacob took with him to Egypt his sons and grandsons, and his daughters and granddaughters—all his offspring.

下埃及的以色列人名單

⁸來到埃及的以色列人名字記在下面。雅各和他的兒孫：雅各的長子是流便。Now these are the names of the sons of Israel (Jacob and his descendants) who went to Egypt: Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn.

⁹流便的兒子是哈諾、法路、希斯倫、迦米。The sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

¹⁰西緬的兒子是耶母利、雅憫、阿轄、雅斤、瑣轄，還有迦南女子所生的掃羅。The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman.

¹¹利未的兒子是革順、哥轄、米拉利。The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

¹²猶大的兒子是珥、俄南、示拉、法勒斯、謝拉；惟有珥與俄南死在迦南地。法勒斯的兒子是希斯崙、哈母勒。The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez, and Zerah; but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

¹⁷亞設的兒子是音拿、亦施瓦、亦施韋、比利亞，還有他們的妹子西拉。比利亞的兒子是希別、瑪結。The children of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah. The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.

¹⁸這是拉班給他女兒利亞的婢女悉帕從雅各所生的兒孫，共有十六人。These are the sons of Jacob born to Zilpah—whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah—sixteen in all.

²³但的兒子是戶伸。The son of Dan: Hushim.

²⁴拿弗他利的兒子是雅薛、沽尼、耶色、示冷。The sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem.

²⁵這是拉班給他女兒拉結的婢女辟拉從雅各所生的兒孫，共有七人。These are the sons of Jacob born to Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel—seven in all.

²⁶那與雅各同到埃及的，除了他兒婦之外，凡從他所生的，共有六十六人。All those belonging to Jacob who came to Egypt—his direct descendants, besides the wives of Jacob’s sons—numbered sixty-six persons.

²⁷還有約瑟在埃及所生的兩個兒子。雅各家來到埃及的共有七十人。And with the two sons who had been born to Joseph in Egypt, the members of Jacob’s family who went to Egypt were seventy in all.

雅各和約瑟重逢

²⁸雅各打發猶大先去見約瑟，請派人引路往歌珊去；於是他們來到歌珊地。Now Jacob had sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When Jacob’s family arrived in the land of Goshen,

²⁹約瑟套車往歌珊去，迎接他父親以色列，及至見了面，就伏在父親的頸項上，哭了許久。Joseph prepared his chariot and went there to meet his father Israel. Joseph presented himself to him, embraced him, and wept profusely.

³⁰以色列對約瑟說：「我既得見你的面，知道你還在，就是死我也甘心。」Then Israel said to Joseph, “Finally I can die, now that I have seen your face and know that you are still alive!”

約瑟教弟兄如何回答法老

³¹約瑟對他的弟兄和他父的全家說：「我要上去告訴法老，對他說：『我的弟兄和我父的全家從前在迦南地，現今都到我這裡來了。Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and inform Pharaoh: ‘My brothers and my father’s household from the land of Canaan have come to me.

³²他們本是牧羊的人，以養牲畜為業；他們把羊群牛群和一切所有的都帶來了。』The men are shepherds; they raise livestock, and they have brought their flocks and herds and all that they own.’

³³等法老召你們的時候，問你們說：『你們以何事為業？』When Pharaoh summons you and asks, ‘What is your occupation?’

³⁴你們要說：『你的僕人，從幼年直到如今，都以養牲畜為業，連我們的祖宗也都以此為業。』這樣，你們可以住在歌珊地，因為凡牧羊的都被埃及人所厭惡。」you are to say, ‘Your servants have raised livestock ever since our youth—both we and our fathers.’ Then you will be allowed to settle in the land of Goshen, since all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians.”

耶穌憐憫眾人

¹⁴耶穌出來，見有許多的人，就憐憫他們，治好了他們的病人。When He stepped ashore and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.

五餅二魚餵飽五千人

¹⁵天將晚的時候，門徒進前來，說：「這是野地，時候已經過了，請叫眾人散開，他們好往村子裡去，自己買吃的。」When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

¹⁶耶穌說：「不用他們去，你們給他們吃吧！」“They do not need to go away,” Jesus replied. “You give them something to eat.”

¹⁷門徒說：「我們這裡只有五個餅，兩條魚。」“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

¹⁸耶穌說：「拿過來給我。」“Bring them here to Me,” Jesus said.

¹⁹於是吩咐眾人坐在草地上，就拿著這五個餅，兩條魚，望著天祝福，擘開餅，遞給門徒，門徒又遞給眾人。And He directed the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He spoke a blessing. Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

²⁰他們都吃，並且吃飽了；把剩下的零碎收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

²¹吃的人，除了婦女孩子，約有五千。About five thousand men were fed, besides women and children.

耶穌獨自上山禱告

²²耶穌隨即催門徒上船，先渡到那邊去，等他叫眾人散開。Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds.

²³散了眾人以後，他就獨自上山去禱告。到了晚上，只有他一人在那裡。After He had dismissed them, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone,

耶穌在海面上走

²⁴那時船在海中，因風不順，被浪搖撼。but the boat was already far from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

²⁵夜裡四更天，耶穌在海面上走，往門徒那裡去。During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them, walking on the sea.

²⁶門徒看見他在海面上走，就驚慌了，說：「是個鬼怪！」便害怕，喊叫起來。When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.

²⁷耶穌連忙對他們說：「你們放心，是我，不要怕！」But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

彼得在水面上走

²⁸彼得說：「主，如果是你，請叫我從水面上走到你那裡去。」“Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.”

²⁹耶穌說：「你來吧。」彼得就從船上下去，在水面上走，要到耶穌那裡去；“Come,” said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.

³⁰只因見風甚大，就害怕，將要沉下去，便喊著說：「主啊，救我！」But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

門徒拜耶穌

³²他們上了船，風就住了。And when they had climbed back into the boat, the wind died down.

³³在船上的人都拜他，說：「你真是　神的兒子了。」Then those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God!”

在革尼撒勒治病

³⁴他們過了海，來到革尼撒勒地方。When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.

³⁵那裡的人一認出是耶穌，就打發人到周圍地方去，把所有的病人帶到他那裡，And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding region. People brought all the sick to Him

³⁶只求耶穌准他們摸他的衣裳繸子；摸著的人就都好了。and begged Him just to let them touch the fringe of His cloak. And all who touched Him were healed.
